First of all I hope this is in the right section.
I was hoping to find some awesome music/rythym games later in the Android Market.
Well, it's been about over a year since Android was released, and I still see a lack of good rythym games!
My request is for a developer to try their best and create a well-designed music game, hopefully using our own music from the SD card..
That would be awesome!
Do you mean like this?

Id like to see multitouch implemented somewhere in one of these games ...

No, I know this is on the market, but we need something better.
Guitar Hero mobile for Android wasn't exactly the best experience I've had.
I have been asking for this game to come to Android since I got my G1. Mainly looking for the NIN Edition!
http://tapulous.com/
Even sent them a request, but so far nothing has come of it. I recommend everybody request it, If there is enough support they might port it.

Can't post links yet, but this is the original thread starting from last year, stating that if theres enough demand, they'll try to port it.
some of you may have played it before but this is a steam game called Audiosurf
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTZTPdDW7PM
a game like this would be awesome on the nexus... basically it produces a unique track based off of each song for that song and its a sort of tetris game where you have to match the blocks up and such... was well worth 10 dollars on steam when it first dropped, i had countless hours of obsessed fun on the thing

That's a very good game, but it needs to ne refined more. But we REALLY need a game like TTR or Audiosurf, I have nothing against taps of fire, but I don't like playing on amazing. Too much for my thumbs.
Here is the link for tap tap revenge:

Everybody should request it so we can get it ported.
In the mean time, I found this:
http://code.google.com/p/tapsoffire/
Somebody mentioned it in this thread already, but I searched the market for it, but it didn't appear. It probably wasn't designed for the Nexus so it didn't show up, but there is a Droid version available from the Google code page. Free and open source!
One of the best music games is Taps of Fire. I have it installed, I recommend others to download this app too, only bad thing is having to hit the notes a little early, but its fine.
Hi,
I created a game Fifty Five that was launched last month but I am having problem telling the users about it so they can try it out and give me feedback
Can you suggest ways to make it popular or seen??
Thank you
Modify the description to actually describe what the game is. Right now it just says, "Enjoy playing a simple and addictive game." and shows reviews... but there are hundreds of simple and addictive games on WP7... what differentiates your game?
Take out the part about the dithered screenshots from the description. It's unnecessary. Most WP7 users are just consumers and might get confused about what you're talking about when you refer to the emulator and such.
Ask sites like wmpoweruser, wp7central, pocketnow, etc. to do a post about it or include it in their "WP7 Apps in Review".
Advertise on xda-devs or one of those Windows Phone blog sites.
Put a link to it in your signature and start participating in xda discussion. Do that at any forum you're active in. If you sound like you know your stuff, people will notice you and check out things from your signature.
Edit: By the way, it won't launch on my HD7. It's hard for people to form an opinion who are unable to play it. Clean up the code, make it compatible with all devices, and you'll see an increase in exposure.
If you scroll down it will shows the features and thanks for the tips
But I think it is hard to get a review on these sites because I tried and they told me they have many apps to be reviewed before mine and that reviewing my game is not guaranteed
Put the description of the game at the beginning of the app description. Get your friends to download the game and give it a good review. Post at several forums about it. Create a website for support/info and include good meta tags to attract Google searches for people looking for WP7 games.
Not a bad game but also not the type most people would pay for... More the type that should be ad-supported.

Build a name for yourself with a free game or two. Free games get reviewed by bloggers and other people.
You need to establish a reason for people to buy a game for you. I know that on android, the screenshots you show in the listing are very important.
If your first game is paid, it will be hard to get going - nobody has heard of you, few will try it... I have never bought an app from a dev that hasn't released a free one before that - it just seems like buying the contents of a paper bag, without knowing what's in the paper bag, other than what the seller claims.
Once people like one of them, they may try other games from you.
I agree with the consensus. Make an ad-supported version in addition to the trial and purchase versions. I remember reading somewhere that a WP7 developer was making like $400 a day on free ad-supported games.
Thanks for the Comments
I will consider creating an Ad supported version

If I added Multiplayer support and new game modes with bonuses and animations would it be then worth the money
Just a noob's input here, but think about getting a YouTube demo put together. Personally speaking, I've bought a few apps just based on a decent video demo; it gives me a flavour of what the game is all about and what the gameplay is like.
Add some good tags to the YouTube video and it'll turn up in searches.
Free advertising for just a little outlay (in terms of time and effort).

I mean that YouTube accounts are free. By "outlay", I mean your time and effort in producing a video, not meaning any financial cost.

Aslo coming from a noob, I think these are all excellent suggestions. I'd like to emphasize the screenshots aspect-- for me they really make or break my interest in any app, but especially games. Also I appreciate the fact that the OP did not, in fact, turn this into a stealth advertisement for the game but is legitimately soliciting advice. Best of luck with your game!

Google today finally revealed a gaming element for Google+, the social network the company launched at the end of June
nooooooooo
no no, what next, those stupid "what twilight character are you?" quizzes?
So many people are happy about this.
However i'm not.
I think they should do the following.
Either not allow people to share there score in the streams and only show it once you play the game. Or allow the circles to active game post in that stream or redirect them to a specific game related stream.
I do not give a crap what the hight score was of my friend playing jewel.
That's exactly what they're doing, there's a seperate stream for games. All your friends highscores etc appear in that stream. Your normal stream will be the same, for sharing information, not game stuff.
NOO
Its like facebook and Myspace
Do you think we'll be able to keep our scores between android mobile and Google plus to play on any screen ?

It's over 20 million now brah from its launch. The growth is unstoppable.
The only problem for me : out of those 20millions, I found only 2 of my friends, Computer specialists, like me.
The audience is not so wide and mainly composed of geeks for the moment .
I don't think Google will let it turn into Facebook with the stupid quizzes.
What?! NO! >.< Not good news... Unless of course, the games are well designed with developers not greedy for money? That'd be a nice change.
So far it looks like they are handling this better than Facebook has by hiding all the spam in a different stream. Honestly I don't know why the games need to do that at all though, but that's just me.
I am looking for people to help with the testing and creative development of a game I am working on.
I am REMAKING a game I had on the market last fall. Its still called ScanDroid, at least for now.
The theme of the game has changed, and there are a lot more features being worked on this time around.
I am making it from scratch this time, which is making for a faster process and cleaner code.
Here's the game in a nutshell:
RPG Fantasy Theme
Scan Barcodes to collect items, bonuses, and exp, and to battle NPCs
Battle NPC Barcodes
Battle Online(soon to be implemented)
Share QR code of character for others to battle locally(soon to be implemented)
Gain items, level up, and use an item shop
Anything other the creative testers can help me get an idea to add in.
It is a text based pocket scanner Pokemon style online barcode scanning game.
Everyone who i had try the last version of it loved it, but due to my limited ability at that time and the holidays the game eventually lost steam and fell apart. I have received a lot of feedback and am much more capable now of delivering a fuller more entertaining experience.
I need people who are COMMITTED to:
Test out each release, on a daily to bi-daily basis
Give good feedback that can be used to fix and improve the game
have ideas to help make it better
willing to use google plus messenger to join our beta huddle, and actively participate.
Please, reply to this with your google+ email address, or PM me.
I had about 40 ppl who wanted to beta test last time around, and all but 6 fell through on activiely participating.
I appreciate ANY help I can get.
Here is the Facebook Page Link. This will be the best way for you to let me know you want to be a tester/helper!!!!!!!!!
THANKS!

I'd like to be in the beta too. Seems interesting.
Also, a feature that uses GPS as "Zombies, RUN!" would be great (say, you go out from your home and scan codes in the supermarket for example, or battle random monsters after X meters from your "den", or collect items after walking X meters, and such).
The thing is, you should focus on the things that make "Zombies, Run!" awesome and try to replicate them.
I'm PMing you my google acc.

A Location Based Aspect could be interesting. We will definitely have to try and toy with it, see in what ways it can benefit the game.

Added a Facebook page (easiest way to send out news and downloads in a centralized location)
Here it is!

I will also be posting progress on here as well.
Hello, I'm posting this tread because I have searched every inch of the market/internet for a good First person-Role playing game in real time. I know about "Deadly dungeons", don't get me wrong it's a great game but its not in real time and not free roaming.
So, see that it might take awhile for someone to make said game, I've decided to make one myself. Only one problem. I don't know any code, and I suck at graphics. I'll be doing plots, quest, main quest, and music. So I'm looking for a team who would like to help me put this together. It will be a paid for app will a free trial so in the end, if it is any good there will be money. No guarantees thought. But seeing as it will be the first of it's kind, there is a good chance.
Imagine a game like "The Elder Scrolls" or like the iOS game "Necromancer's Rising". That is what I'm looking for. So if your interested in seeing this come to life, PM me and I'll give you my email ASAP.
Please, I know many people are waiting for such a game, and there is money in it IF it is completed and turns out well, but that all depends on how hard your willing to work. Think of how many "These guys just made my day for making this game" there will be. I personally am a HUGE Elder Scrolls fan, I mean I got every game. From Arena to Skyrim. That is what starting my love for, as I call them FPRTRPG games.
Hope to be hearing from you guys!
-Andrew
P.S If you are not interested, or not a developer or what now, please spreed the word, if you know someone who might want to help, tell them about this.
If you don't know any code and wouldn't be doing the graphics what exactly would your contribution be?
Yeah what you be contributing besides an idea? And if you can contribute and would like to make a team with some people, im starting to learn coding and would love to help out if i can. Pm me if interested

This would be awesome. I'd love a good first person RPG. I have not found a single RPG on Android I like. I like turn based but they are all the same now. I prefer real time RPGs. A game called Earth and Legacy is very close to what I want to play, but lacks a storyline. I can program but I am not familiar with building a gaming engine.

good point :/
Normally you would be right. But i thing this one's a bit different. Why? The author said it's a role playing game in 3D. Yep it's quite hard coding but don't forget about a plot... it would be freakin hard to think up entire world, characters, etc., etc... so his effort could be great, only if he has some ideas of course
If anything I could try to think of worlds names and the story plot , if it's needed. I've played MMORPG's all my life and know what's a good story plot and etc would be like
Guys, you did notice the op only has 2 post and only joined a few weeks ago. He hasn't posted here yet. I think we might have a troll
