Follow these steps..
1. Don't use 3G, Go for 2G data connection.
2. Remove unwanted Apps (Few apps are really working as battery Eater, For me it was the concern for battery drain)
3. Still Not resolved, Do battery calibration (Refer Moto G Forum for this)
4. Still have problem.. Dude you have a defective piece of battery.. Return it to Flipkart, if crossed 30 days limit then Moto Customer care is the only option..

The average battery drop down rate in nearly 6% per hour...
I saw the stats of last night battery usage it was just "awake" that drained out the whole battery.
Any solution to it Rj?
Are you running Stock firmware?

Yep!! Not Rooted
Try turning off: Settings > Location, or put the phone into Airplane Mode. Power Toggles is a quick way to enable / disable Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS as needed.
While it is often discouraged, I kill all recent apps at night. You will also see a real benefit if you root and flash a custom kernel such as Faux - stock kernel is just not as battery efficient.
Deep Sleep Battery Saver has some nice features that will benefit you.
Saw on moto forums, it is a known issue but only happen once. Haven't happened to me yet.

Always on display on lg g flex 2

There is an app called glance plus (and its alternatives )
https: //play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thsoft.glance&hl=en
It works perfectly , MINIMAL battery is used till now ( still i m testing the app on device).
I think there will be very less use of battery since it is poled panel!!
LG might include this feature from G5 in marshmallow update for g flex 2!!
glance plus is the best
It's working pretty well, I'll keep it if the battery drain isn't too high.

Battery drain seems to be good for me!^^
Thanks to the OLED Panel it's maybe 3% per hour?
Well at least the battery drain is so little that I can't really recognize it

No if it's not showing it won't affect battery life
Is this app much different from just holding down on the screen when its off for notifications?

Significant battery drain on the G7 - Possible solution.

Since I started using the G7 I've noticed some significant battery drain for normal usage. I couldn't make it a full day (w/ 3-4 SOT) before i needed to charge it. After adjusting every setting I could find, even doing a factory reset, I believe I may have stumbled onto the issue... Moto Display.
After disabling Moto Display, I've seen a boost to my battery life (picture below of current status). I believe the battery drain comes from Moto Displays 'Approach to Wake' option which keeps the sensor on, and sucking up battery. You could try and turn that option off instead of disabling Moto Display entirely.
I haven't seen any postings about this online, but I have read a lot of postings about the poor battery life on the G7 - and this may be the culprit, It has definitely improved my battery life and may help yours. As always - Your mileage may very.
- Disabling Moto Display
Code:
Settings App > Apps & Notifications > See All > Moto Display > [COLOR="red"]Disable[/COLOR]
OR
- Turning off A2WU
Code:
Moto App > Moto Peek > Approach to Wake Up > [COLOR="Red"]Turn Off[/COLOR]
Trying it out, thanks for the tip. Will let you know how it goes.
One more screenshot for the day...
I do wish I took some screenshots of how piss poor my battery life was before disabling A2WU. Its such a night and day difference.
I guess this is the culprit for bad battery life on my G7+ too. I'll check back here in a couple of days. Great you found this out!
Just disabled Moto display here. I had approach to wake up disabled from day one though. i hope this works. I had to get my mother a replacement phone after she broke her old moto e 2015. Got her the MotoOne Macro...the battery life seems to be almost static its that good in comparison to my G7plus Her phone has only lost 5% in 24 hours with 4g on, and my G7plus lost 40% on standby with battery saver on and airplane mode Funny thing is the system says nothing is draining the battery. I also uninstalled my Norton antivirus as I am wondering if that is a hidden cultprit too. Will have to see how the next few days go
