You can disable the 10 password reset thing doing this.
Use a file explorer such as Root Explorer and navigate to /system/customize/ACC/default.xml and edit it and change the following:
Code:

10

to this:
Code:

0

EDIT: also according to some people if you install the Xposed module 'Sense 6 Toolbox' there is an option to disable the safe volume warning.
EDIT #2: Checked myself and there is indeed an option to install this in Sense 6 Toolbox > Various mods > scroll to bottom and its in the volume section.

Note that if you are simply stock rooted that this change alone will cause an ota to fail to install. You must revert it prior to ota attempt. Otherwise have fun with it!
ok awesome! ive search for hat file, but it was hard to find. ill try again.
is there any other way to disable volume warning besides sense 6 toolbox?

Anyone have the stock froyo fm radio apk they can upload? I have fresh's rom and its removed. It seems fresh provided all the apks to re-install if needed, but that one wont install for some reason.

That might explain why this doesnt seem to install correctly either. Usually I would click on the apk via astro and click on file manager and install it manually. Via adb do I simply push it to the system/app folder or is there a specific install procedure?
Thanks
(p.s. thanks martijua foir the file)
You could just copy it into the \system\app folder using RootExplorer and set the proper permissions, reboot into recovery, wipe dalvik, reboot.

Ok, used root explorer, put in the system/app folder. Rebooting to recovery and clearing davlik is cake. Where do you set and what are the "proper permissions" ??
Thanks!
Ok, found the permissions, just wanna make sure i checked the right options. Read, write, and execute. I checked them all, hope that was right. Thanks again!
Um, try getting the virus roms removed apps. Maybe those work? I'm not sure if fm radio was removed from that rom

Do you want to reboot and your rom doesn't have that shortcut?
Do you want to enter the recovery and you don't want to enter the line manually into the terminal?
Do you want to enter your bootloader to use fastboot and there is no way reboot into it?
Be afraid no more! This simple application gives you 3 shortcuts to do all these tasks without having to type it into command lines. You just need root permissions and you're good to go!!!
It only does what it's advertised, nothing else.
Can't be easier than this.

A single click in the icon and boom, the device will do as its told, hassle free, easy and FAST, no interface involved or strange permissions asked, it only does what it's advertised, NOTHING MORE.

Can you make me a simple reboot app with no option to reboot in to the recovery, no shutdown, no confirm, no wait for countdown.
I just want an reboot app that can be run through another app, app run > phone reboot. No need widget or UI, just an app with icon in app drawer and when i click that icon, boom, phone reboot without asking for confirm or else.
I use LG L3 res 320x240 on 2.3.6 stock, and yes,my phone is rooted.Sorry for bad english.

Any chances I could have the .apk for it? My nexus 4 power button is gone, and I flashed cm12 but the gapps failed to install. Now I'm the ROM but no way to boot to recovery. I don't have play services nor play store so I can't install via my browser. Any help??
Edit: Got it with adb. I don't know where to delete this post.
New update:
v4p10
1 - Add Soft Reboot option to reload the UI without hard rebooting the device
2 - Add option to reboot into Safe Mode
3 - Now sending a system broadcast that the device is going to reboot so that it safely flushes any outstanding data for a clean reboot operation
4 - Decrease the priority of the background threads of each request to prevent any type of starvation
5 - Fixed one FC that could be triggered if a View was null for some weird reason

I get a "Values not applied. Unclean shutdown, values not applied" from NoFillsCPUControl when I reboot using SimpleReboot as installed from the PlayStore on my N5 under AOSP. I'm running PHH's su, if that makes a difference.
When I install the app directly to /system/app (create folder, copy APK, rename, permissions, etc.) everything works as expected with no "unclean shutdown" error.
Should this be happening?
Well, it was working. Now I'm getting the "Values not applied. Unclean shutdown, values not applied" with it put in system as well. I get a toast from su letting me know it's given permission. I can open a terminal and type "su -c 'svc power shutdown'" or "su -c 'svc power reboot'", and it (very) quickly works and returns without error.

If you want to change that you will need:
-Root explorer (you will need to access system folders)
-Root
-Phone
1. Open your file manager
2. Go to /system and look for a file named build.prop
3. Open the the file in a text editor
4. Now search for the line ro.sf.lcd_density=160
5. Change 150 to 160
It should look like this:
6. Save and exit
7. Reboot
8. Apply your selected theme (I would recommend to reboot)
9. Open up again build.prop
10. Change 150 back to 160
11. Save, exit and reboot.
huge thanks!
thanks a lot, solved my problem.
but i have a question: do you need to change that value back to the original or it can stay at 150?

I knew how to do that in the older es explorer. Now that it has updated to 3.0 I don't know how to do that. I know how to delete system apps but I cant do the other things like this one and make apps system apps. Can you explain it to me?
thanks
the new version of es has a little different setting for that, you should look carefully! to convert user apps into system apps you can use titanium backup app. it has this feature.

Need of a device with bootloader unlocked and rooted
1) Install the apk of Root Explorer version 4.0.2 at this link
http://it.apkhere.com/app/com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer
2) Open Root Explorer, go in the system folder and open the build.prop file with the text editor; search the string called
# [ASUS BSP] Nancy - ZE552KL default disable touch navbar
persist.asus.enable_navbar = 0
qcom.hw.aac.encoder = true
and change the value from 0 to 1; then save appropriately the modified file.
4) Now you need to give the right permissions to the file; just keep pressing on the file, then up, about the options that will appear on the file, click on the three vertical dots and then Permissions. You have to set it up as follows
5) Reboot your phone and you should find the soft keys of ZenUI; Now if you want to disable them again it will be enough to re-edit the build.prop files and reset the value to 0.
If you want, in addition, also disable the physical home hardware keys follow these simple steps
1) Download here
http://www103.zippyshare.com/v/sS8EF2Cm/file.html
the Xposed framework compatible with Zenfone 3
2) Download here
http://www55.zippyshare.com/v/YWm75uNz/file.html...
the apk of Xposed app that is need that you install immediately
3) After that, flash the Xposed framework by TWRP recovery and restart the device
At reboot go into Downloads section of Xposed app and research the module named "Xposed Additions". Install it, activate it with the check mark in the Modules section and restart the Zenfone. On restart, launch this application and go in Buttons section; Here click on "Add new Key" and, when you see the screen popup, click on any of the three hardware keys and then confirm with ok. Now go into the rule that you have created (that will bring the name of the button that you have pressed) and click on "Add New Condition"; Click on "Screen On" and then, in subrule that appears, put the check mark on the options "Click" and "Long Press". Repeat the same thing for the state "Screen Off" and "Lock Screen" always clicking on "Add new condition". Now you must only repeat the whole procedure again for the other two hardware buttons on the home and you you will have disabled all of them!
The hardware keys will be disabled?

Hey guys, excuse my ignorance before I begin.
I am trying to install a modded Spotify apk on my Samsung GS7 Nougat [Rooted]. Spotify already comes pre-installed as a system app on my phone so installation fails due to "conflicting package".
Is there a way to complete uninstall a system app? I've tried titanium backup but it simply disables it, giving me the same installation error.
Alternatively is there a foolproof way of install the modded apk side by side with the "disabled" system app?

Yea that's possible, maybe a security thing, certain KNOX related apps won't run once you've rooted and tripped knox either
EDIT - It seems without encryption you can not use secure startup, you must have wiped and removed encryption
