[Q] My PC doesn't recognize the Moto G

Hi folks,
Well... I don't know what is happening with my G. Everytime I connect it via USB, nothing happens, the directory doesn't appear at the explorer. I've been trying to install the drivers and sometimes the PC shows a correct installing, sometimes not.
I don't know what to do. Maybe format the Moto G...

1. Make sure you have good data cable
2. Usb port on your pc/computer is work
3. Install driver for your system.
And last, please make sure you choose the right " USB computer connection " method by going to Settings > Storage > tap on right top menu, select USB Computer Connection.

Install the Motorola drivers

First of all, thank you both. Sorry for the delay.
The USB Ports and the cable are ok. I've already installed drivers via Motorola Device Manager. After selecting USB Computer Connection, I check only the MTP option and nothing happens.
Maybe there is some cause of the problem:

Selecting the troubleshoot option, Windows starts to search drivers and, again, nothing happens. It can't fix the problem.

It seems that the drivers aren't installed properly. I don't know why it's happening... I've already used this method to transfer musics and all kind of stuff. Maybe something went wrong after some android update... I don't know.

Do you have the adb drivers installed?

I've just installed it here, but still not working. I used this version.

Well, I've already done it.
How do the manual installation work? Is it through the ADB?
No. I don't know if it's a South America's version, but it has 16GB of memory and two sim card slots.
My main doubt is why it's happening, because I transferred files normally before.
How is this last method? What is the command?

Today I am gonna tell u how to get otg support on yuphoria
But you have to check and tell me whether it is showing pendrive in otg or not.
Things u need
YU Yuphoria of course.
Root
Twrp I will tell u how to flash twrp if not done.
USB otg cable
And pendrive
So let's start
First go into settings->advanced settings->check advanced reboot.
Now press the power button select reboot->recovery
Now ur phone will boot into recovery go to install zip from sdcard .
While in sdcard select the location click on storage and you will see three options
1.Internal
2.external
3.usb otg.
Thats it guys
Please check and tell me if connecting otg shows pendrive or not.

go into developer options then tick advance reboot

I searched about this on internet and found that
yuphoria now comes with android 5.1 AOSP
not CyanogenMod
so there's no advance reboot in developer options for recovery simply turn off your device and press volume down+ power button

In TWRP recovery it shows the usbotg option but not able use my pen drive

Doesn't worked for me on YUPHORIA
Buddy I have tried twrp 2.8.6 and it only shows that twrp has the OTG option but it doesn't recognise it when I connect my pendrive. So if you can Please suggest a working method. ....

Its Showing MOUNTED USB SUCCESSFUL!

Am using galaxy s duos 2 (gt s7582) with stock ROM n kernal but rooted , bootloader not unlocked yet. Since 3-4 days before I got a problem that I can't connect this to any PC. When connecting only charging mode is activated. In my phone there is no USB settings accessible. So that I can't flash anything. I tried with some apps on playstore (USB settings, USB switch) ,but those r also sadly failed. When using USB settings it shows the stock USB options but no effect when changing it. What should I do . how can I solve it. Oh.. One more thing .. I tried also factory reset 2-3 times but this thing only not working. And test with 2-3 PC. But I could connect other Samsung mobiles on those PCs with same USB cable on same port successfully.. !! PLEASE HELP ME..

open busybox tap on install when installation popup occurs reopen it and wail for busybox loading to 100%
connect your phone to pc and open mass storage enabler

before that i am facing one more big problem. i tried an app for easy access on recovery and safemode. i just click on boot on recovery button but now my duos 2 doesnt load android it stucks on samsung logo with a red '!' on left upper corner . even recovery cant load. i could turn on download mode but untill my usb getting normally , i think it will be useless.

but this method also didnt help me.. it showin same as previousl..
when i restart mobile while it on usb, windows detected it but showing unknown device. the usb device not recognized. its reason says "the location of the device is shown in bold type". what is that ??

If you don't have any important files in your phone, then download firmware 5.1.1 SD card dload folder and press 3 buttons to hard reset

i did this ! but my phone wont able to do that because phone dont get charge !
when i connect the charge cable it wont do any act ... i think my phone cant charge ...

I had exactly the same experience when attempting to update to 6.0, however my device (TL-10) could charge. You have to get it into fastboot mode. The screen looks very similar to that one (I can't remember the exact button combination, but I think it was Vol+ and power. Then you need to flash stock recovery (if you don't have it already) through ADB commands on your PC.
After that it's merely downloading the correct (full) package and installing it with the aforementioned three-button reset.

It's a difficult question to ask. If your device still had a decent charge remaining before it crashed and burned you might still want to try to push the wipe / update, regardless of whether it's charging or not.
By the way, there won't be any charging indicators whilst in fastboot / rescue mode, the device will simply just stay on (and warm up a bit).

Johello, I speak Spanish so I will use a translator , I hope I understand .
I have a motorola g3 but I have no original accessories, yesterday connect my phone to pc and I realized that only load does not detect USB connection , restart the phone factory but also activate usb debugging.
in my pc and install the drivers from motorola and have 2 operating systems windows 7 and 8.1 and is not detected it has marshmallow 6.0 what I'm thinking maybe a USB cable motorola needed, since the 2 that I use one is from alcatel and another mobo . Could anyone help me?

Try to install this : https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481 ( This will install Motorola Drivers to PC)
Use a Data cable, that has ability to Charge your MotoG, Others data cables which cannot charge your phone can be useless in sometimes..
no need of keeping USB DEBUGGING - ON
if your phone does not connect .. Do one thing, Install Mobogenie, and Do as it says..

Try this:
When connected the phone with pc, Goto
Settings > Developer Options > Networking > Select USB Configration
Select MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)
Done
