Hello?

you may refer to this post before:-

flash the NON-HLOS.bin found on the thread above via flashboot command. it works prefectly even with china opo.

@gingerbanana is that the one from the latest color os? Or which one?

???

https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon&type=snapshot
extract the NON-HLOS.bin from the zip file then flash via fastboot.

Here's the guide to do this.

[Q] Uninstall TWRP on Razr HD

Flashed TWRP to make a backup of my stock rom, but now I can't get rid of it to get back into a stock recovery to apply a ota.zip - is there any way to remove the twrp recovery?
you need to flash the correct recovery.img with fastboot. One can be found in the Droid RAZR HD utility HERE. However, I don't know what version device you got or if there are any differences between recoveries from one version to another. so, be careful.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

any radio's?

Can any radio's be updated with any Rom?
I'm currently using paranoid android 3.56 on my i815 and I'm having connection issues and wondering if I can use any i815 radio or if they have to be designed for the Rom. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
any information?
Been doing more research and found on this forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932597
The baseband version I have now is i815.04 v.FD01 / I815 FD01
Is the version i815.04 V.LP10 / I815 lP10 newer then the version I have? Also the forum said the zip could be flashed without stock recovery. Also they have a LP11 in tar format but not zip. So my questions...
It's the lp10 newer? And will this help 3g/4g connectivity and signal strength?
Can baseband be flashed with a zip without stock recovery? (It says as of 10/16 you don't need stock e3 recovery)
Can the lp11 modem tar be put into the lp10 zip and flashed that way?
Amy and skill help will be greatly appreciated.
Lp10 is newer than what you have and LP11 is the newest. I don't know if updating your radio will be a problem with your ROM, but there are instructions fo LP11 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.PHP?t=2111799. In the original post there is a link to the LP10 instructions where you can find a link foe Odin, which you use to install the tar file from your computer.
Best of luck.

So can baseband be flashed with Odin without the stock e3 recovery?
Just flash modem.tar in the phone section of Odin in the download mode of the tablet?
I'll admit I've never heard of stock recovery referred to as e3 before. I did my last radio flash with CWM installed, not stock.
To flash a modem:
1. ODIN (check "phone") - .tar
2. CWM - CWM flashable zip
3. Mobile ODIN app - modem.bin or (I think .tar)
4. ADB commands

I appreciate all the help and the flash went fine but my last question is why has only half of my baseband changed? And does this affect 4g coverage or connectivity?

No idea about the naming, but if it's changed, it has flashed correctly.
You'll just have to test connectivity, speed, signal strength and band switching etc for yourself against what version you had before.
Best to test any speed test at a quiet time (so you're not measuring network capacity), from exactly same location, (place phone in same spot), same time, and also check the signal strength by -dBm loss (lower is better, ie -65 is better than -95). Settings/about device/status...

I flashed elix rom to experiment one day this week out of boredom, was just seeing what else is out there - was on slimkat and before cyanogenmon -
Then I wanted to go back to cyanogenmod but when I tried to flash, somehow unknown to me my bootloader seemed to have rolled back....typically I had deleted the zip containing the bootloader about three days previous.
ANYWAY - I just found it again and if anyone else should need it, here is the link to the forum that has the bootloader in it

You need to flash the new bootloader first

I'm trying to retain my Root, User Data, and CWM Recovery. Can I simply sideload the system.img? Basically create a zip containing only the system.img then use CWM's sideload?

New from note 4 to note 5 question

Hey guys. I'm new from the note 4 to note 5. I want to install recovery and flash some of these cool N5 roms. I'm a W8 (canadain) user. With the N4 I see there was a can twrp tar file to flash with Oden but for the N5 it's not broken down like that. I see GSM file, it that for ours? Which one do I need for my Canadian model? Also is 3.0.0 working for us? Thanks

Welcome to the Note 5 section.
The N920W is pretty much the same as the N920T. The GSM rocovery file should work the same for you as it does for us. In fact, when it comes to kernels, you'll flash the same ones as well.

Flash Philz touch recovery.tar 11.0 Make sure it's for n920tw8 with a PC Using Odin and then you flash arter97-Kernel-n920tw8 zip using the recovery on the phone after you boot into recovery make sure you download that to your phone internal memory first before
