Dear friends, I've two identic htc evo 4g. One of them working properly. Second was not receiving incoming calls. Someone adviced to update radio. i updated radio and PRI Radio-2.15.00.12.19_PRI-2.33 . After that i couldn`t make and receive calls. device showed me on roaming, i allowed data on rouming but still can`t call. On ##72786# reseted all, now device doen`t catch antenna signal. Please help! Can i copy settings and radio and prl from first device?

Ok so i upgraded to jfv1.42 i updated the radio also after i did that my phone cant get any incoming calls or make outgoing calls my text messages are also blocked but i can still go online i can get everything to work if i only use 2g networks any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks for any info.
Which jf rom have you upgraded to? And which radio version are you using?
Has anyone seen this? I'm having a problem. For the last two weeks my Photon Q no longer will make calls. OR after a soft reset, it will complete one phone call then no more. I do (consistently) have 2-3 bars of indicated service (-106 to -118 dBm 34-25 asu)
I have also tried a PRL update. No change. Sometimes after a soft reset, PRL and Profile update I can make one call, then nothing
Everything else is fine: I receive phone calls, I connect and have 4G data and can connect to the internet and use web apps with no problems I also get messages, Just no outgoing voice
My Desire S won’t make or receive phone calls or texts. My first thought was the radio, so I upgraded to ICS using the standard downloaded RUU, which includes a radio update. The problem is still there so its not radio related.
All other parts of the phone work 100%. It shows good GSM signal strength, shows the correct network provider details, has good mobile internet, wifi’s fine, the SIM is fine on other phones, shows that it is on GSM not WCDMA.
If I try to make a call there is a brief pause and then a beep and either:
It reverts to the dialer screen
or
The phone semi-crashes
or
The phone fully crashes and needs a reboot
If I try to send a text it reports that it can't be sent after a number of re-tries.
If I try to call the phone from another phone, it just says number not available.
I suspect a hardware fault, but I’m not sure. Is there a potential software fix for this?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Im having a strange issue that i only just noticed and was wondering if others are having the same problem.
It seems when i am connected to either 5ghz wifi AC or Wifi 2.5gz N,
My phone refuses to accept incoming calls, will call out just fine but will not let me receive.
when I turn wifi off calls come through OK, Just wondering if there is someone who can help.
Update - I have re-flashed both kernel to stock - same wifi being on blocks incoming calls.
I have re-flashed the ROM - again, same issue Wifi seems to interfere with incoming calls and sms. -- Will not receive anything until I disable wifi??
I have also just booted into Safe Mode and the same problem still exists - Wifi is blocking incoming calls, but i can send sms and calls while being on wifi.
Is this a Bug!!! should I report this to CM - could some one else please try this process.
I have also checked and double checked my APN settings and they are correct.
Will do a complete factory reset and see if problem still exists.
UPDATE 2
This has to be a bug I have factory fastboot.zip'd back to XNPH22R
and the wifi bug is still there!

I realised my APN settings it was also using 4g but my provider doesn't do 4g when set to 3g only my problems went away.
What Rom are you using? That would help.
Stay to the latest version of the rom

I changed the sim card and the network, the problem is solved.

I wanted to create a dedicated thread to what have been scatteredly reported by other users in various generic threads when unlocking the Kyocera Brigadier. Mine is rooted (4.4.2, software version 1.102VZ, Kernel 3.4.0-g42c25d8, Build #KOTH49H) with a T-Mobile plan. The original carrier for the device was Verizon. I applied that trick to unlock APN settings. It worked pretty well (I've used kingroot instead of debloater). The Data (4G LTE) is now blazing fast and I can receive call and text messages. However, I can't make outgoing call/text. Below are some details:
Outgoing call: The phone application continuously indicates "CALLING..." but it is stuck there. If this is the first call after a reboot I also have the message "Error while searching for network". Then, I try to tap the "End Call" button but that do not close the phone app. The only way to unfreeze the app is to wait for an incoming call. About 1 restart out of 10 gives the error message "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped".
Outgoing text message: I systematically get the Error "Cause Code 0"
A factory reset do not solve the issue.
I would be very gratefull if a pro could help.
Not getting a lot of help on this, eh? I have the same problem with mine, I wish I had done more research before I bought the phone. I guess all I can do now is put the paperweight back in the box until either someone makes a rom for it or i figure out how to do it.
is your 4g lte is t-mobile's or else? what band is t-mobile's 4g?
did you try 3g or global and tested call/sms?
im outside usa my local sim is working on 3g out/coming calls and sms are fine but no 4g yet....

I am on the Rogers network in Ontario, Canada. Wireless internet works perfectly, I get 4g, and can receive calls and texts, but I am unable to send either. Rogers was no help, they said it was a software issue. Downloading different phone and texting apps did nothing. The bloody wireless companies locking phones down is a complete pain in the ass.

mine only got 3g from celcom malaysia prepaid,but can use all that feature,only need to unlock that 4g,tried many method but still cant do 4g
