Has anyone seen this? I'm having a problem. For the last two weeks my Photon Q no longer will make calls. OR after a soft reset, it will complete one phone call then no more. I do (consistently) have 2-3 bars of indicated service (-106 to -118 dBm 34-25 asu)
I have also tried a PRL update. No change. Sometimes after a soft reset, PRL and Profile update I can make one call, then nothing
Everything else is fine: I receive phone calls, I connect and have 4G data and can connect to the internet and use web apps with no problems I also get messages, Just no outgoing voice

can anyone help me with my htc touch issue? not sure where else to ask this
i recently started having issues with reception after having NO problems with the touch since it came out. i come home for the day and my phone shows the evdo icon, but people try to call me and my phone doesnt ring, but the caller goes straight to voicemail. then it goes to 1x and my calls/email sync are fine. in order to try and get around this i perform a soft reset. however, when the phone comes back up it goes back to evdo and tries to dial #777 and fails numerous times. i try to make phone calls for the first couple of minutes that the phone is on, and they immediately terminate before im able to connect. the phone then goes into 1x and i can get data and make phone calls.
it isnt necessarily a problem with evdo connectivity itself, as when im at work i can get phone calls and data with evdo.
i did a hard reset and the only thing i've installed is a touchpal keyboard, but the problem is still occurring.
i called sprint and did a prl update from my house, and the tech support person said im in an area where coverage shouldnt be an issue. even with the prl update, im still having a problem.
this is very frustrating because i am missing important calls from business contacts.
Hi all,
Yesterday, I've accepted to upgrade to Android 4.0.4, HTC Sense 4.1 build 2.40.666.1.
Now from that time, my cellphone won't make any calls, receive any text or w/e. The only thing tho, when I freshly start it in the morning, it connects to the 3G long enough to get my missed txt, voicemail etc. Then it disconnects.
The APN server is ok.
I've called HTC and they want to repair it under warranty. The thing is, I can't lose my phone for long period of time as I'm using it for work.
What could I do on my own?
UPDATED INFO
-Second factory reset. First one didn't work. Used the vol- button & power button to make factory reset. Without any APN names, my phone seems to connect to network. I call my GF's phone and it works. My GF sends me a txt but I do not receive it until I tried to call her. It disconnects frequently from network. Signal varies a lot 2 to full bar. I send txt and my GF receives it instantly.
Any help or hint would be appreciated !
Thanks!
Couldn't find my exact situation. Called ATT and they have never heard of it before.
ATT gs3 running CM10, has happened on nightlies as well as the stable
factory reset, reflash, same issues
1. Have phone charging or leave phone alone for 3-4 hours
2. Will not receive incoming calls. No call screen, not just silent.
3. No missed call notification
4. No voicemail notification if voicemail is left
5. my signal strength shows the radio is on and has high signal strength.
Work-around:
1. I just have to use the phone features (calling out, dialing voicemail), then i can receive calls again.
Because I don't have to reset the phone I feel like whatever service for dialing/phone is shutting off to save battery, but won't "wake" until i make a call. I would like not having to make a call every few hours to receive incoming calls.
Haven't heard of this you may want to ask this in the att forum. This is the Verizon one. It may be something that is an att cm10 problem.

Hi I can't make or receive phone calls. when I press call it just says dialing and then the call ends after 10 seconds, it never connects. I have tried factory resetting, odin back to stock, resetting my service for my number, opening up the phone and removing/reconnecting the radio, reseating the sim, and the problem still exists. I can't get any number to connect, even voicemail and any * numbers. Any ideas? Please help.
anyone?
Hello, so I recently went from sprint to t-mobile, ported my number, etc. The plan was to flash U onto my g930p but I'm stuck on sprint's qjp3/series 5 firmware until a compatible U or even T firmware is released. I have had a couple of issues with my device that have sort of popped up over the month or so I have been on tmobile, namely that I cannot receive calls, every time someone calls me they are sent straight to voicemail. I do receive notifications for voicemail and the voice messages themselves, but that's it. I can make outgoing calls, however usually the first attempt at an outgoing call fails, then further attempts actually dial. Also, upon restarting the device I always have to cycle airplane mode in order to get the data to catch and start working. SMS and MMS work fine. If anyone has any insight into solutions to these problems, particularly the not receiving incoming calls, I would greatly appreciate it.
