Full access on Play Store 3.7.11 and 3.7.13

Hii guys,,
We all know about the Google music, Google books, Google movies and want to try them all.. But we cant as its restricted to few countries only..!
But there is a solution for this now.. and you can access these features irrespective of which country you are in.
Well what you need is rooted phone and Play store 3.7.11 or 3.7.13.. you can download it here
Firstly, Download Market Enabler(You can download it Here) and install it.., and download DROIDvpn from play store and signup for an account.
Now, go to App manager and delete play store data and cache.
Then Open market enabler and choose any us carrier... like Tmobile, but anything should work.. for choosing, tap and hold on the carrier name and select 'fake this provider now'..
Now open DROID vpn, login and press start..
If you need TUN.ko get it from Here
Open Google play store and you must now be able to access Google music, Google books etc through Play Store and download everything..

vpn acts like a proxy it changed your service provider ip address to an us location ip address

I hav eone problem, when i press start an error shows, Tun module is not loaded!
Put Your tun.ko /sdcard/tun.do or /system/lib/modules/tun.ko before connecting DroidVPN....

ok keep aside the DroidVPN.. just open market enabler and select the required fake network..
clear app data and cache of play store..
open play store and see..

It would be great if you could actualy you know, buy stuff with a foreign card it gives me an error when i try to purchase. Nevertheless nice to try out how the play store actualy looks like in full.

i know it would be great.. and it actually is possible.. Already have tried purchasing stuffs from Play store without problems..
See that you have enabled DroidVPN.., it changes your IP address to the required IP addess of the fake network..
everything should work fine..

I followed the instructions but my Play store ends up "Loading" without any results...
Any ideas?

Restarted the phone, Fired up Market enabler, set to [US] Verizon (It does't matter), started up DroidVPN.
It's working for me now but it's very slow....

I have Droidvpn configured and active, but it still doesn't let me buy anything. When i tap "buy for -$" it seems to take a long while preparing the purchase and then displays the "not avalible in your country" error.

Yeah, it's working fine for me now, also without DroidVPN running in the background...
I uninstalled DroidVPN and MarketEnabler but the market seems to be still working with Movies n' stuff.
I hope it will stay like that.

so what if i want to go back to the original one? like the region or country that was default for us?

Once you restart your play store will come to normal, like how it was previously, Without market enabler.. Hence droidvpn is not necessary, but market enabler its need..

Does anyone else think the new Google Play Store sucks?
It's a horrible use of space. It's bad enough that recently Google made it so that if you want to buy an app, you are forced to create a Google Wallet account that is tied to your mobile carrier.
Now, Google Play store has this big waste of space, and surprise, the tab to tell you the app's permissions is missing.
Where do I find an app's permissions?

AppBrain to the Rescue!
I've started using AppBrain. Tells me permissions and it's a lot more user-friendly.
If you don't like the new crappy Google Play, call them and complain:

When you tap on Install, a confirmation screen appears, showing you the permissions.

Permissions are also shown in Settings>Apps>*App Name*. They are in the bottom.

I agree, it's such a bad layout and the fact that you can't easliy remove multiple apps from your myapps list is an even greater frustration!!!

If you want t search by permissions, visit the appscrawler site (appscrawler.com). I do not have permission to enter an url. But you can Google it. There are lot of Android apps what are pointing to Play Store. One of the advantage of the site is the ability to search by permissions.

found this thread while searching for google play sucks
i too think it sucks and honestly lacks some serious functionality. all i have is a huge messy list of apps. no way to sort your apps, by either category, or even a simple search that will search your list of apps. the google play app for tablet (if it's a different build) is much worse.. lots of wasted screen space and the list of your apps is narrow and frustrating to navigate. i buy many apps and currently there is also no way to only see apps that i've bought.
maybe google doesn't feel it necessary to continue to improve and add features to it because they don't make much money off app sales? no idea, but it's pretty puzzling how long its been and again, it lacks basic functions to easy manage your apps. you should be able to manage your apps as if you were just browsing the app store. things sorted by category, title, size, date, last purchase,etc. maybe i am being unrealistic and asking for too much.. ?

I've stopped downloading new apps or updating my existing apps. Yes, to me the Google Play store sucks that bad!

[APP] Google Now Android L (Root+Non-Root Methods)

Hi everyone,
All the Google Now threads have all the steps and procedure to make Android L's "always listening" mode work; but they do not work for all users. This method, which I discovered on Youtube, worked for me and should work for all rooted devices running Android 4.4+ (KitKat).
Prerequisites:
Android 4.4+ (Kit Kat)
Unleash the Google app: View attachment UnleashTheGoogle.apk **THIS WILL ONLY WORK FOR ROOTED DEVICES**
The latest Google Now launcher: View attachment GoogleHome.apk
And the latest Google Search app which I could not upload due to size limit: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...B] [URL="http://d-h.st/kCa"]http://d-h.st/kCa
The work:
1) Make sure you have both the latest Google Now Launcher and Search app downloaded
2) Once you have those, install Unleash the Google... Grant root access.
3) Force close the Google Search app by going to settings>apps>Google Search> force close
4) After that all these options will pop up in Google Now Launcher's settings, if followed the instructions correctly.

5) Next what you would do is click "config flags" and scroll down until you see "e300_voice_everywhere, embedded_endpoint, and enable_e300" and make sure you turn them all on.
6) Then scroll down to "speaker_id_supported_locales" and put "en-US" **US has to be capital**
7) Scroll down and save the settings by clicking "Save config settings"
- Note that no toast notification will pop up saying that the settings have been saved. Force close Google Search just in case.
If you have done everything correctly, a new option (Audio History) in the voice settings in the Google Now Launcher settings should pop up. Make sure you have it turned on.
8) While in the voice settings, go to "Ok Google Detection" and click "from any screen"
9) Profit!

Note:
The version of Google Search that Android L comes with is 3.5.13, while the version you need for the "Ok Google" detection anywhere is 3.5.14. I have already linked to the download of 3.5.14 in the "Prerequisites" section.
Update:
1) It appears as if the rollout is per account. So no matter what users try, it is up to Google for enabling the feature to their account. Sorry! :/
2) It only works in the US? Someone please confirm.
3) This mod requires KitKat in order for it to work.

For Non-Rooted Users:
If you still are not able to enable the settings, try doing this method:
Open Google Search and do a text search for "Okay Google Everywhere" WITHOUT the quotes.
After that, head into Search settings, then Voice and profit.

Very nice! It wouldn't work at first because I was accessing the Google settings from the HTC Sense launcher but when I accessed it from the Google launcher I was able to get to the new settings and they carried over to the HTC Sense launcher, profit! Considering its server side, not client, I dont think it has anything to do with this. You might have been in the lucky batch that Google turned this one for. I did the same thing you did, and its not available to me..yet. Yeah it works with GEL but when I swap back to Sense,,it doesnt

works perfectly, but the hotword detection in any screen is not supported in Italy :crying:, there's a way to fix it ?

or to sum up the article :
It appears this feature is rolling out by account, not APK. While basically everyone on the AP team is already running the latest version, I'm the only one seeing hotword detection. So, be calm young panda, it'll get to you soon enough.
Update 6/26/14, per Google: "Ok Google from any screen will be rolling out on most Android devices running KitKat over the next week, and will initially be available in the US for English speakers."

I've changed the speaker_id_supported_locales to it-IT, and now I got the wizard that tell me to say OK GOOGLE 3 times, but after this the google Search crash.

Sad to say, yah.... Since pokemon go servers have large response cooldown, can't see how to handle this, for now at least. May be I'll find some workaround in the future.
For now, it can find 200m distance pokemonos for a minute. For 600m distance the app need 3-7 minutes, depends on pokemons density.

Can you make it like pokevision, like touching and scanning, that would be great.Your app have potencial,it have a warm UI and it like faster

Well, I thought it IS like pokevision =) Click on the map and push the "Show" button.

by "Real-time Pokemon data" i assume they are from niantics servers directly in real-time?
but the play store description seems to say that the data are from user submission..
so which one is the actual scenario?

It has both functions. When you push "Show" button, the app seeks pokemons through niantics servers. For the reason, I made the function, you can add you own pokemon to the map. This function for my own needs and I hope it won't distorb other users.

I did some workaround for the login trouble. Try please again with new version. You can get it on Google Play.

I made new version:
Login troubles should go away.
When you start search, the app shows you where it seeks pokemons.
Get it

Seems that Google has banished the app. I'm trying to figure out what is the reason. Until I resolved the problem, you can get the app directly from here: http://www.pokemongoscanner.com

For some reason when you click on the link you provided it takes you to the app page. Of you click download apk nothing happens. I tried copying the link and pasting it into the browser and it just goes to the Google search page. Any updates on this or a mirror to download from?

It's very sad to say, but google banished my app from it's play market. But you still can get it directly from "Download APK" button.

That's what I tried it wouldn't download and when I tried use the Apk button it would refresh the page but not download.

I checked it out. The link works. I think it's through your browser, how it handles links, or through your DNS, it may happen that it doesn't see the host. In the first case you can try another bowser, in the second you can try to use some proxy or tor.

Using HMS location services instead of Google location tracking services

I have recently purchased a new Mate 30 and installed GMS services on it, but I found that commuting apps(such as Tada, my region equivalent of Uber/Lyfe) that are available in both the HMS app store and Play store are unable to work properly as the map interface would be stuck on "Google play services updating". I tried to see if my location is work by going onto google maps and it displays my current location using GPS just fine. Any workarounds for this?

Yea there was no pop up notification of Google Play Protect, but multiple popup notifications for Google Play services requires an action. Could you be referring to that? I followed this tutorial on youtube: https:// youtu.be/ZYhlr_BQGlw

I have installed GMS on my Mate 30 Pro and I have equivalent Uber app here in my country. I opened the app and the issue is one thing; the map is unable to load but I am able to order a ride, car or food in that app by manually typing it. It is not convenient for me by the way.
I joined community and it is found that the tutorial of mine is having drawbacks and unable to load the maps is one of them. Some people experienced the same way meaning that it is the issue of many.
Some apps rely on updated Google Play Service and Google Service Framework, but I assume you followed the tutorial with GSF Mod installed on.
Can you just install Grab app? Try to test it out whether the maps is loading or not.

I have installed the Grab app but it wouldn't get past the page where it says GPS can't be detected. This is despite having turnt on GPS permissions for the app. I had performed a clean installation initially but redid some of the steps after I thought I made a few mistakes.
