Full access on Play Store 3.7.11 and 3.7.13 - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Hii guys,,
We all know about the Google music, Google books, Google movies and want to try them all.. But we cant as its restricted to few countries only..!
But there is a solution for this now.. and you can access these features irrespective of which country you are in.
Well what you need is rooted phone and Play store 3.7.11 or 3.7.13.. you can download it here
Firstly, Download Market Enabler(You can download it Here) and install it.., and download DROIDvpn from play store and signup for an account.
Now, go to App manager and delete play store data and cache.
Then Open market enabler and choose any us carrier... like Tmobile, but anything should work.. for choosing, tap and hold on the carrier name and select 'fake this provider now'..
Now open DROID vpn, login and press start..
If you need TUN.ko get it from Here
Open Google play store and you must now be able to access Google music, Google books etc through Play Store and download everything..
Press Thanks if it worked for you..:good:
Enjoy n cheers..:laugh:

ok keep aside the DroidVPN.. just open market enabler and select the required fake network..
clear app data and cache of play store..
open play store and see..

It would be great if you could actualy you know, buy stuff with a foreign card it gives me an error when i try to purchase. Nevertheless nice to try out how the play store actualy looks like in full.

i know it would be great.. and it actually is possible.. Already have tried purchasing stuffs from Play store without problems..
See that you have enabled DroidVPN.., it changes your IP address to the required IP addess of the fake network..
everything should work fine..

I followed the instructions but my Play store ends up "Loading" without any results...
Any ideas?
Edit:
Restarted the phone, Fired up Market enabler, set to [US] Verizon (It does't matter), started up DroidVPN.
It's working for me now but it's very slow....

I hope it will stay like that.

so what if i want to go back to the original one? like the region or country that was default for us?

Sorry, yes that link has the download link.... I finished the post and saved it before giving the link to my friends thread, but its there now ..... enjoy as this Black themed Market is sweet plus it also unlocks regions checks on it, so that apps that normally wouldnt show up in your country will show up now in search results. Doesnt mean apps are free, it just simply lets you view items on the market you would not be able to view unless on your PC, MAKING THAT VERY CLEAR......
This looks REALLY nice! Matches my phone more too!

Where is L.D.B.??
I would like to report this to him.
The mod is not working here. Still doesn't appear country restricted apps like Play Music (Google Music).
I'm outside US/Canada and I wish someone can mod Play Store so we (outside) can browse music, books and video stuff.
I can do this but I need to start WiFi hotspot on my laptop, through Hotspot Shield, clear Play Store data, and then access to full market.
Will be possible to mod this restrition?

Umm, I was too scared to flash the zips (i usually get bootloops or problems even when others are successful,lol ) and Im used to manually copying system apps so I did the 2nd step from the thread. But Do we really need both apks (Vending.apk and Phonesky.apk to have this properly themed?) I only ask, because the Phonesky.apk is not originally in our system/app folder of our phone. I would think the Vending.apk is where the theming was done.
Edit** I do see the changes and its a nice look for the Play store.

Thats why I manually replace system/app's instead of flashing in cwm. I get the bootloops a lot.lol. But about the "error downloading update" message I only got that error on one app that tried to update(apn backup+switch). It just updated google maps and Adobe flashplayer automatically and I didnt get errors.
*Edit* Just tried downloading a couple apps from Play Store, & all were fine except Facebook for Android app. For Facebook app I get "Error" Your order is processing. It will be available in a couple minutes."??? Is that just, because I deleted all Facebook bloat from my phone or what?

[GUIDE] Faking US Play Store without Market Unlocker or *ROOT*

Now before I begin, most of you had lost the ability to use Market Enabler/Unlocker due to the recent update on Google Servers which now upon purchase tracks down your actual location and ties down your account to your location.
So here's the deal on how to get it back. Without rooting. Without any Unlocker.
Requirements-
- 2 Android Phones.
- VPN (TunnelBear or HotspotShield)
- Patience
Now before you jump into conclusions, that "OH VPN" Just remember, that when you get off the VPN, Exit PlayStore and open it again, it re-asks you to "Accept" terms which brings you back to your local playstore. Boohoo. Here's proof on my side at the end of this post.
Instructions
Phone #1
- Open Play, Download the app called TunnelBear VPN
- Clear Market Cache/Data after Download
- Register with TunnelBear/Hotspot VPN and connect to it.
*Make sure you are connected and are receiving packets!*
- Open Play, Accept the terms and you will now be greeted with the ever so friendly US Play store as shown below. (Refer to Image #1)
- Once accepted, tab out and back in to make sure it sticks without exiting, do not exit the app via Multi window!
Phone #2
- Clear Cache/Data on Android phone #2
- Open Play *Without connecting to VPN*
*This time, it will ask you to accept terms, but lead you to the US Play Store*
Phone #1
- Disconnect from the VPN from Android #1 used and tab back to Play.
For those who doubt my location, refer to Image #2
Finally, to prove that this works, I have loaded Play on all my devices (Cleared Data/Cache for devices that were not used in this setup) and without the use of any VPN they all loaded Play US Store. (Refer to Image#3 and #4)
Explanation
If you own a device or more that share the same account such as, Phone#1 and Phone#2 share the account you use for Purchase (To share paid apps between devices) Google servers check with each device
eg: Phone #1 location = US, Proceed. Welcome to US Play. Disconnect VPN
Phone #2 location = <Your country>, Check Phone #1 <VPN Disconnected already>, Location ≠ US, resend Terms Policy. Reset.
And yes they can determine your carrier and location without you knowing, When you install an app via Play it shows under devices as
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But if you had faked initial Device #1 and accepted, then accepted via Device #2, it check's back with Device #1, Since Device#1 says US, it proceeds with what permission was granted first to the gmail account <US Play Permission due to VPN>.

Google patched it again with new play update
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Here's something I tried that works.
1- Install Hotspotshield app or any other VPN
2- Open Play Store. Now you should be in U.S Store
3- Find an app you want to download / purchase
4- Start the download and just as it begins to download cancel it.
5- Now it should be in the 'My Apps' list under 'All' and you can download it without VPN at any time.
The benefit is that VPN can really slow down your connection especially when downloading bigger apps.
I used this VPN method several months.
But now it seems that Google bound my account to my REAL country. I can't make it work any more.
To show you that my account is bound I give you an example: accessing playstore my PC.
I activate my US VPN.
I browse to play.google.com. (not logged in in Google Account). I can see all US playstore content.
BUT: when I login into my account (with VPN activated) I only can see the playstore content of my REAL country.
I already delete all my billing addresses etc. Sadly this didn't help.
Any idea how to fix that?
+1

New Google Play Store Sucks

Does anyone else think the new Google Play Store sucks?
It's a horrible use of space. It's bad enough that recently Google made it so that if you want to buy an app, you are forced to create a Google Wallet account that is tied to your mobile carrier.
Now, Google Play store has this big waste of space, and surprise, the tab to tell you the app's permissions is missing.
Where do I find an app's permissions?

I agree, it's such a bad layout and the fact that you can't easliy remove multiple apps from your myapps list is an even greater frustration!!!
Really Google....!!!!
An alternative way of permission filter

Does anyone else think the new Google Play Store sucks?
It's a horrible use of space. It's bad enough that recently Google made it so that if you want to buy an app, you are forced to create a Google Wallet account that is tied to your mobile carrier.
Now, Google Play store has this big waste of space, and surprise, the tab to tell you the app's permissions is missing.
Where do I find an app's permissions?

If you want t search by permissions, visit the appscrawler site (appscrawler.com). I do not have permission to enter an url. But you can Google it. There are lot of Android apps what are pointing to Play Store. One of the advantage of the site is the ability to search by permissions.

i don't have much experience with google play store, since my friend reminded me not to use google play store.
His tablet was trapped by google play store, and then the tablet got into safe mode and never went out.
Every time when booted up the tablet, it went into safe mode directly.
He tried to flash the room, but in pain.

found this thread while searching for google play sucks
i too think it sucks and honestly lacks some serious functionality. all i have is a huge messy list of apps. no way to sort your apps, by either category, or even a simple search that will search your list of apps. the google play app for tablet (if it's a different build) is much worse.. lots of wasted screen space and the list of your apps is narrow and frustrating to navigate. i buy many apps and currently there is also no way to only see apps that i've bought.
maybe google doesn't feel it necessary to continue to improve and add features to it because they don't make much money off app sales? no idea, but it's pretty puzzling how long its been and again, it lacks basic functions to easy manage your apps. you should be able to manage your apps as if you were just browsing the app store. things sorted by category, title, size, date, last purchase,etc. maybe i am being unrealistic and asking for too much.. ?
I've stopped downloading new apps or updating my existing apps. Yes, to me the Google Play store sucks that bad!

[APP] APK Downloader Extension - download apks without play store

Quick backstory - tired of Google knowing everything about me and seeing targetted adverts everywhere i go, I've bought a little Moto G as a project and decided not to install google play services on it, and use open source alternatives to google's apps.
While alternative stores like F-Droid are great, there are certain apps that are only on the play store, which I can no longer download since I don't have the play store installed. This is where apk downloader comes in. You do still need a google account to authenticate with, and a google services framework ID from a device that has been activated with google play services (you can ignore this if you have play services installed, you can find your gsfid using my app or an app called "Android ID" in the market), but after that you're free from google!
The app adds a "share" button to app pages in browsers, so you can search for apps using your browser and then click share to download, completely bypassing google play.

I've spent a lot of time trying to get requests and responses to work using protobuf (the system the play store uses) but have been unable to do so since it's just guesswork really, so it's constructing requests manually, the same way as the chrome extension which does this very same thing.
It's nowhere near finished, but I just thought I'd share this in case anyone finds it useful. You can also use this app to download apks that the play store may have blocked from your device, for example.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PLAY SERVICES INSTALLED:
Use an app like this to get your google services framework ID, and enter it in the settings.

While I like the idea very much it doesn't work for me.
I'm trying to download an app and I get an error message: "API exception: protocol message contained an invalid tag (zero)"

Hmm, what are you entering? If you go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=*the id you're entering* does it exist?

Strange, i just tried the same thing and it worked. I'll have to look into this
working great..!
It looks like this can only download apps that are compatible with the device you got the device ID from. I kept getting the "App not found", but only for apps that weren't normally compatible with my HTC One (M7). Once I searched for a regular app like Nova everything went fine. Is there any work around for this?

Yeah it uses nexus 4 info for its device ID. Hopefully I can add in some options where you can choose different devices to spoof when you download

I don't really like entering my google account email and password into an app.
Is there a way to replace this with OAuth?

For now I've not got round to implementing oauth, it is something that could potentially be done in the future though.
If you're worried, the full source code is available and you can compile the app yourself.

I've just added device parameters in settings so you can choose what info is sent with the request for the download. By default it's a Nexus 4, but you should be able to play around and see what settings allow you to download the apps you want.
First i want to say thanks, great idea. But i have problem with app downloading, i get error message: "API exception: Server responded with status code 400". What did i do wrong ?

My fault, I uploaded a test build by accident. It should work now if you download it again or use the link to the one on google play.
