1. Dropbox APK +23GB of additional free space for 2 Years
• Uninstall any other instances of dropbox (either official or unofficial)

2. Latest Vending_Google Play Store (Android Market) v3.5.15 Themed Black
What's in this version:
You now have the Installed and All tabs you can swipe between. The former one is what we used to have before - it lists all apps installed on your device. The latter lists all apps you've ever installed in case you want to download them again or travel down the memory lane. This is quite handy, and I've seen this list before in the Play Store on the web, so it's great to get it here in the mobile app.
The All tab contains a handy dropdown with all your accounts (if you added more than one) and lets you switch between them very easily (as opposed to clicking Menu, etc).
A few of the stock apps that apparently never got linked to the Play Store before got identified and picked up this time, and updates to them were waiting for me when I fired the Store up. I've complained about this very bug in my last rant, and it looks like someone listened.

You dont need to create a new one, just log in with existing one. You will get an email, follow the link and you will see some instructions

Full access on Play Store 3.7.11 and 3.7.13

Hii guys,,
We all know about the Google music, Google books, Google movies and want to try them all.. But we cant as its restricted to few countries only..!
But there is a solution for this now.. and you can access these features irrespective of which country you are in.
Well what you need is rooted phone and Play store 3.7.11 or 3.7.13.. you can download it here
Firstly, Download Market Enabler(You can download it Here) and install it.., and download DROIDvpn from play store and signup for an account.
Now, go to App manager and delete play store data and cache.
Then Open market enabler and choose any us carrier... like Tmobile, but anything should work.. for choosing, tap and hold on the carrier name and select 'fake this provider now'..
Now open DROID vpn, login and press start..
If you need TUN.ko get it from Here
Open Google play store and you must now be able to access Google music, Google books etc through Play Store and download everything..
Press Thanks if it worked for you..:good:

vpn acts like a proxy it changed your service provider ip address to an us location ip address

I hav eone problem, when i press start an error shows, Tun module is not loaded!
Put Your tun.ko /sdcard/tun.do or /system/lib/modules/tun.ko before connecting DroidVPN....

ok keep aside the DroidVPN.. just open market enabler and select the required fake network..
clear app data and cache of play store..
open play store and see..

It would be great if you could actualy you know, buy stuff with a foreign card it gives me an error when i try to purchase. Nevertheless nice to try out how the play store actualy looks like in full.

i know it would be great.. and it actually is possible.. Already have tried purchasing stuffs from Play store without problems..
See that you have enabled DroidVPN.., it changes your IP address to the required IP addess of the fake network..
everything should work fine..

I followed the instructions but my Play store ends up "Loading" without any results...
Any ideas?

Restarted the phone, Fired up Market enabler, set to [US] Verizon (It does't matter), started up DroidVPN.
It's working for me now but it's very slow....

I have Droidvpn configured and active, but it still doesn't let me buy anything. When i tap "buy for -$" it seems to take a long while preparing the purchase and then displays the "not avalible in your country" error.

Yeah, it's working fine for me now, also without DroidVPN running in the background...
I uninstalled DroidVPN and MarketEnabler but the market seems to be still working with Movies n' stuff.
I hope it will stay like that.

so what if i want to go back to the original one? like the region or country that was default for us?

Once you restart your play store will come to normal, like how it was previously, Without market enabler.. Hence droidvpn is not necessary, but market enabler its need..

Yeah, Google Play Music is not supported in India :-(
Sound Quality will be the same as your stock music player (i believe!).

I use google play music in india and have all my mp3 in google cloud. So my sd card always have large space....:laugh:

This is why I love XDA.
A few notes and bug work arounds for UK users.
(I think this line is a world wide thing) grant permissions for the app to Allow it to use for Accounts. (SJ)
Now it will not let you sync up your device. It will only show local files. To get around this delete or move all your music files from your Phone (or tablet if you're like me). Now go to the settings where you can see running apps and services. Kill all Google Music stuff, delete ALL data and cache then relaunch the app. You'll be prompted to login. If you skip the login the you'll have to go back to "Kill all Google Music..."
I'm aware that was breif but the key points are there.

o Rename the apk to:
com.google.android.music-1.apk
o Copy to /data/app/
o Change permissions to match other apps:

Neither of the methods works.. I can copy the apk to /data/app/ (nothing happens at reboot) but I can't even copy it to /system/app (fails, even though the phone is rooted and I gave all the read/write permissions with ES file explorer)... any suggestions?

Hi there! I've got a Desire with OxyZM1.2 (Android 2.3.7) and plenty of room (30+mb) for applications since I use the Dalvik2SD script.

Around a month ago Jetpack Joyride landed on amazon appstore. However non US users couldn't download it without directly installing apk (or using US proxy with amazon account). Not anymore.

I made some basic attempts by moving all the files (fail) and then trying to cherry-pick files (also failed).
Unless somebody responds with the answer, I'll try again this weekend.
So far, I've figured out that if you copy all files named XXXXSaveData.dat from /data/data/com.halfbrick.jetpackjoyride.amazon/files/ to /data/data/com.halfbrick.jetpackjoyride/ It transfers your meta data (awards, achievements, etc.)

But I guess no gadget or stuff that I've unlocked. Maybe they'll upgrade to the same version as the one on Amazon

Remove Amazon version
Play and enjoy!

You don't have to kill yourself but it seems you need to at least finish a level so that something gets triggered in the file structure. Just doesn't make sense to put in any real effort if it is all going to be wiped out anyways.

Hahaha yeah! Am now playing the PlayStore version. Great guide.

nice game, very responsive but resembles very much of Run Run Bear game on play store. I have been playing that for quite some time.

Kinda worked for me... Crashed on start up. I cleared data and it started up. But lost mission data. Kept high scores and items
all missions data reset.

When I tried it without playing a full game first, it would crash on start up.

i wished i read this before clearing and removing the amazon version. oh well, i guess i have to play from scratch

After multiple attempts I got it to work. I noticed it automatically brought it my "stash" but it took a lot of tries and reinstalls to get the missions and stats to link up.

Followed the guide instructions to the letter, and it's still crashing after the HalfBrick Splash screen. Please help, I would LOVE to get rid of the amazon app store since that's the only reason i got it in the first place was to play JPJR

You have to play a full round or it will crash on start up, i.e. you must die in the game. You cannot just start a game and then exit out. Did you finish a game or did you exit the game while in progress?

THREAD UPDATE 17 JANUARY 2018 - I am closing this thread for various reasons, primarily due to the fact that I can no longer update the thread title on my own and need a mod's help for each update. There is also significantly less of a need for this thread as a mirror; I started the thread 5 years ago, long before APK Mirror existed, but that site has since become a one-stop shop for any and all APK's. I encourage you to visit them for all your Play Store needs.
An updated version of Google's Play Store is now available, version 8.7.10-all. The new APK is linked below; it is not themed or modified in any way. It should work on any version of Android in any part of the world. The attached APK is installable just like any side-loaded APK. Or if you are rooted, you can move the APK to the appropriate /system folder manually or with a flashable zip to replace your existing Play Store (Phonesky.apk or Vending.apk).

NB: Just to ease everyone's mind, don't be alarmed by the posts directly below this. @DJxSpeedy and I were trying to figure out some of the new folders and permissions when version 3.10.9 was released and before it hit the mainstream, but that has since been explained by Android Police.

I think I see what you mean... the "org" folder? The APK is unmodded, just pulled from data/app on my Nexus and uploaded to Dropbox. Could you explain why this folder is suspicious and how it relates to GPS usage?

i have 4.2 on it it shows me : new right : use GPS location
and look into the org folder.. folders folders.. folder with JP-***
i think jp is for japan ?
for me its suspect and i didnt get this update from google automatic..
btw its the first time there is an org folder..

Yes, I see that now also, there is a new permission for using GPS location.
I don't see a lot of folders or anything with JP... screenshot here shows the whole contents of the "org" folder, the only folder path is "\org\keyczar\i18n" and then you can see the 5 files contained there.
I've seen a few other people in other phones' sub-forums posting that they also received this update today, so I am curious as to why Play Store now requires GPS access but not really suspicious. Hopefully we will get an explanation from Google soon!

Why would Google need to include GPS in Google play store settings? I can't see any benefit other than maybe being able to download what others close to your proximity have downloaded. I suppose it gets unknown applications a chance to shine....you know how peer2peer works right by allowing sharing,maybe that new thing under settings kind of legs users share apps...than again who the hell knows,Google does though

I could be wrong, but I read somewhere that Google is trying to stop people from downloading apps not meant for their country/region. I don't recall where I read it and for some reason I can't find it anymore. It made sense since I can't figure out another reason the gps location would matter.

If google are trying to stop people from downloading apps to certain regions then goodluck with that one google

I found out about this though one of my RSS feeds. It looks nice....but personally I like a darker theme. That store is going to kill my battery
