You can try wiping data/ factory reset. Boot into Recovery Mode by holding down Power and Volume Up buttons together until the screen turns on. When the Samsung logo appears, let go of the Power button but keep holding down the Volume Up button until the device boots into recovery. In Recovery Mode, select Wipe data/Factory reset and select Yes on next screen. Select Reboot system now to reboot the tablet

[Q] Reboot loop after 4.4.2 update to 4.4.4

Okay so I have just updated my phone yesterday as I got a notification saying there was an update to 4.4.4 so I downloaded it and installed it and now the phone is stuck in a boot loop, is there any possible way that you can make simple for me as I am new to rooting and flashing phones, this was my first ever time.
Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

Okay so after doing a couple days research and listening to you guys, I found out when I rooted I didn't flash a recovery... So yeah I installed CWM recovery and then wiped cashe partision and it worked. When I wiped it, it came up saying to "fix root" as I may have lost in then I clicked yes then booted straight away. That's it fixed now.
Thank you for your help everyone!

When the phone is rebooting, press and hold power down, you'll then get into Fastboot. From there, go to Recovery using the volume down key and when selected, press the volume up to select. If it tries to install the update again, don't let it reboot into the ROM - when the recovery restarts itself, make sure you hold volume down again.

It doesn't work it just keeps rebooting and coming up with the "bootloader unlocked" screen after itself
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL UP + VOL DOWN KEY together + POWER KEY .
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to SELECT
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL DOWN key, then tap and release the VOL UP key.
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 5, try a force reboot by pressing the power Key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to SELECT this option.
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
9. Once the Formatting is complete, press the POWER key to confirm a REBOOT
11. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence .
worked for me.....

Still none the wiser how to update to 4.4.4 though! I mean surely with a rooted phone there is an app to do it these days???
u can try this
if you have unlock bootloader and can go to fastboot mode,.try to flash your moto g using your 4.4.2 stock rom by manually (you can search how to do it),.flash partition gpt and motoboot (ignore the error),reboot bootloader and finished the rest command..flash phil touch recovery and reboot ro recovery,go to install zip, choose install zip from sideload then send your phone update using sideload command.
that"s solved my problems when i'm getting stuck on blank screen after unlock bootloader warning or only booting to recovery,i'm on 4.4.2 when get that error.
but now in my case,i should go to fastboot mode and choose normal powerup to make my phone booting normally,.because if i'm power on using power button, moto g booting to recovery, not a big deal for me as long as my phone back to the track hehehe
my moto g is o2 germany, but i'm flashing with 4.4.2 germany retail and 4.4.4 update for germany retail.

Unfortunally there isn't a specific thread for your device, but the best way to get an answer is to ask over here > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How are you entering recovery? What steps? Do you have custom recovery TWRP installed or are you talking about stock recovery?

Im talking about stock recovery...
Googled it and found the steps.
1. Volume down + Power key.
2. Then with volume key select Recovery mode.
3. It shows 'no command' with red exclamation Android logo.
Now comes the steps I was missing...
4. Press & hold the power key, then press the volume up button once holding the power key & then release the power button.
5. It boots to the stock recovery.
Are these steps correct or is there any other way ?

- Enter recovery.
- When you see the "no command" with the android red exclamation, hold power button and press volume+
-Hold both for a second then release power.
- You should see the recovery menu now.
