You can try wiping data/ factory reset. Boot into Recovery Mode by holding down Power and Volume Up buttons together until the screen turns on. When the Samsung logo appears, let go of the Power button but keep holding down the Volume Up button until the device boots into recovery. In Recovery Mode, select Wipe data/Factory reset and select Yes on next screen. Select Reboot system now to reboot the tablet

Hello guys.
I was following this guide:

but forgot to wipe system data and tried to reboot before it.
Now I'm in a boot loop and don't know how to get to clockwork recovery to do the system wipe I should've done before.
Help, please!

Try holding up volume and power to restart, then on restart about 5 seconds after you see the "M" logo try hitting the up volume button and see if it drops you into recovery.

It says Starting Fastboot Protocol Support and stops there.
Problem solved...
If I let it boot normally (not fastboot), it will eventually accept "adb remount" and "adb reboot recovery", allowing me to do the last step I needed (wipe data/factory reset).
Thank you anyway.

see if you have free space on your phone for the error , as for the booting in to recovery :
1.remove battery
2.reinsert baterry
3.hold volume up + power
4.chose recovery (vol up/down to scroll and pover button to select)
4.wait for phone to boot in to recovery
Fastboot boot recovery name of recovery.img
If you unlocked the right way and not some lame one click crap.

Okay so after doing a couple days research and listening to you guys, I found out when I rooted I didn't flash a recovery... So yeah I installed CWM recovery and then wiped cashe partision and it worked. When I wiped it, it came up saying to "fix root" as I may have lost in then I clicked yes then booted straight away. That's it fixed now.
Thank you for your help everyone!

When the phone is rebooting, press and hold power down, you'll then get into Fastboot. From there, go to Recovery using the volume down key and when selected, press the volume up to select. If it tries to install the update again, don't let it reboot into the ROM - when the recovery restarts itself, make sure you hold volume down again.

It doesn't work it just keeps rebooting and coming up with the "bootloader unlocked" screen after itself
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL UP + VOL DOWN KEY together + POWER KEY .
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to SELECT
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL DOWN key, then tap and release the VOL UP key.
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 5, try a force reboot by pressing the power Key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to SELECT this option.
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
9. Once the Formatting is complete, press the POWER key to confirm a REBOOT
11. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence .
worked for me.....

Still none the wiser how to update to 4.4.4 though! I mean surely with a rooted phone there is an app to do it these days???
u can try this
if you have unlock bootloader and can go to fastboot mode,.try to flash your moto g using your 4.4.2 stock rom by manually (you can search how to do it),.flash partition gpt and motoboot (ignore the error),reboot bootloader and finished the rest command..flash phil touch recovery and reboot ro recovery,go to install zip, choose install zip from sideload then send your phone update using sideload command.
that"s solved my problems when i'm getting stuck on blank screen after unlock bootloader warning or only booting to recovery,i'm on 4.4.2 when get that error.
but now in my case,i should go to fastboot mode and choose normal powerup to make my phone booting normally,.because if i'm power on using power button, moto g booting to recovery, not a big deal for me as long as my phone back to the track hehehe
my moto g is o2 germany, but i'm flashing with 4.4.2 germany retail and 4.4.4 update for germany retail.

Will not fully boot, including Recovery

Hey everyone,
Randomly my Nexus 5 stoped booting yesterday, not progressing further than the Google boot logo. I can reach the option to load the recovery mode, but, once selected from the vol down+power menu it loads into a similar black screen.
From what I understand this is a soft-brick issue, but I'm unsure of how to reflash if I cannot access the recovery mode.
Please help
no need for recovery, you need to get back to bootloader. from there flash the factory image.

I have the same problem. I'm stuck in boot loop without a custom recovery. I did the flash-all.bat from the bootloader but it's still in boot loop. I also factory reset and wiped cache. Any other suggestions?
After flashing, boot back into fastboot and run these commands from a Windows machine:
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img (the userdata.img file can be extracted from the stock ROM for flashing in fastboot)
After running the 2 commands, boot back into recovery and perform a full wipe of data and cache, then reboot.
I did everything you said successfully but it's still stuck in boot loop.
Edit: I fixed my phone!
I just used this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...l-06-03-14-one-click-factory-restore-t2513937) and ran recovery_Nexus5 batch file. This will downgrade to Android version 4.4.4 though.

Hmm, but the power button works fine. I can "boot" into the google launch logo, and/or turn "on"/"off" the screen using it (black screen but illuminated by backlight).
