[FIX]Music Player Fix ERROR Sorry, Audio Format Not Supported - General Topics

First This is my first troubleshooting Guide
I found many Android ICS Users with problem with the Music Player, It continuously gives an error that "Sorry, file format not supported"
First Of All Please Simply Restart Your Phone And See If It Works Perfectly
There are few ways to fix it :-
i) This Method Worked For Me:
=> Go To Menu > Settings > Apps.
=> Tap On "ALL" On The Top
=> Search For "Media Storage" and tap on it and Then Tap On "Force Stop" && "Clear Data"
Do The Preceding Procedure For "Music", "Music FX", 'And Every Music Player App'.
=>Then Close Settings And Open Your Music Player App
You Will Find That All Your Song List Is Not There,, DoN't PaNiC (But if they are there then follow the above step once again[just once])
=> Now Restart Your Phone OR Tablet OR any thing you are working on.
=>You are almost done: now open the "Music" app
=>Wait 5 Mins. so that it loads it loads all your songs
=> Then Play One Of Your Songs And See If It Works
ii)If The Above Didn't Worked for you :-
=>Simply Shut Down Your Phone OR Tab.
=>Remove The Storage Media (If You Use Internal Storage Then Remove Your Battery)
OR Turn On Your Phone And Press The Power Button Until The Screen Goes Black (Do It On Your Own Risk)
=>Then Turn On Your Phone And See If It Worked (Turn Off It And Insert Your SM And Turn It Back Again)
=>Open Your "Music" App And Open Your Song
iii)Now If Even The Preceding Two Didn't Worked For You :-
=>Then, Open Your Settings
=>And Do A Factory Reset("WARNING" You Will loose All Your Data)
=>And It Will Work
This Is Caused By The Simple Misbehavior of the app, And If all of the above Didn't Worked For You, Then Contact Me Or Contact Your
Manufacturer Service

Strange "box" on the task bar (Win6.5, Htc Sense 2.1)

Hi
I've got a strange problem, that appeared last week, without any particular reason. Actually, I just launch a program (Scumm, an emulator for some abandonware games) on my HTC Touch Pro 2, then I quit.
After this quit, here's the problem :
Some icons on the task bar are masked by a sort of box. I say "masked" instead of "disappeared" because one of them is just masked at 50%, and the "sound icon" (mute / volume) appears for 1 second when I raise up or down the sound. I still see the button for closing or switching applications, and I see the Wifi icon.
When I change the wallpaper, the "hiding box" changes color too. So, it's not really black.
Finally, the problem appears also in "landscape" mode.
Soft reset doesn't solve the problem. I've tryed to restore a recent backup... but my version of "Sprite Backup" is finished, so I can't restore any backup made with it... :-/ I don't wan't to do a hard reset, because I don't have other backups.
Have you ever meet (and solved ?) this problem ?
Thanks in advance
PS : sorry for my poor english
A screen shot would help. You've probably got some program starting up automatically and running in the background. Check your Startup folder.
Ok, I'll try to make a screenshot this evening (I'm at work now, and I don't have my USB cable).
Or, is there a way to do it directly with the phone, without additional software ?
In the windows/startup folder ("démarrage" in french), i've got this :
- BTTtrayCE.lnk
- poutlook.lnk
- PKG.lnk
- HTCStartUp.lnk
- DelWMPTempFolder.lnk
seems to be normal.
Here's some screenshots in attached files.
Notice 3 things :
- the network icon is cut
- In the third screen, I've succeeded in displaying the "sound icon" by pressing the "volume button". But the icon just appears 1 second.
- there is not enough place to put the "battery icon" or the Time/Date.
Any idea, anybody ?
have you tried un-installing the programs you are suspecting that is causing the problem?
Actually, I've removed every program I had installed these few days (not so much : sprite backup trial, skyfire and The Core Media Player).
But it didn't change anything.
The problems appears just after launching the software "scummVM" (but it wasn't the first time i was launching it), but this software wasn't "installed". I directly launch it from the files in my storage card.

Strange problem with Atrix 2.

I am having Motorola Atrix 2 with system version 55.1.27.MB865.Asia Retail.en 03, i am facing following issues :

2. whenever i listen radio it gets switch off automatically and i have to restart the radio again and again after several seconds. is it a bug if yes then is there any solution to this.
3. My another problem is whenever i click photographs and when Flash is on it shows red eye problem for the images clicked, is there any solution to avoid this.
4. sometimes i have problem pairng the devices when the bluetooth is on it always shows pairing for the device failed.
5. In my contact list also i have got my social network contacts added, is there any way to seprate them out.
6. i got system updates messages several time, i am afraid to do that as earlier when i did system update i was facing the problem of network signals and to give this to service center to fix it, please let me know if the recent updates does not have any bugs / issue so that it can save me from landing my phone to service center.
i would really appreciate if someone could throw some light and help me in resolving the above issues mentioned.
Thanks in advance.

1. Open Gallery app --> press the menu capacitive key --> disable the friends activity option (the first one).
2. It seems to be random issue, try restarting the mobile, if that doesn't try resetting (cleaning the cache may also help).
3. Unfortunately we do not have red eye reduction mode in our A2, so try image editing apps like picsart, which can easily remove the red eye. and on side note, i find the camera ics app way better than the stock camera app.
4. Make sure your device is discoverable, switching on the bluetooth is not enough, go into bluetooth settings and make sure that your mobile is in discoverable mode.
5. (copy pasted from internet)
1. Go into `Contacts` 2. Menu Button > Import/Export > Export to SD card 3. Menu Button > Accounts > Uncheck `Auto-sync` 4. Go back to home screens 5. Menu Button > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All 6. Navigate to `Contacts Storage` 7. Clear Data 8. Go into contacts 9. Menu Button > Accounts > Facebook > remove account* 10. Menu Button > Import/Export > Import from SD card 11. Menu Button > Accounts > add account > Facebook 12. Choose option `Sync with existing contacts` *If you get an error then try force killing Social Networking, and trying again Menu Button > Settings > Applications > Running Processes > Social Networking
6. I am running on 55.28.37.MB865.AsiaRetail.en.03 and I did not face with any problems until now.. i believe this is the latest version for us.
---------- Post added at 12:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:45 PM ----------
On a side note and because i don't want to start a new thread as i believe this was more of a 'random' issue
yesterday when i was browsing the net and watching a video on the stock browser itself (just a normal 360p video) and the mobile restarted on its own. and at that time the mobile was considerably hot. I took out the battery let it a side for few minutes then put the battery back, switched it on, then started browsing and doing some stuff to see if it happens again, but until now, it stayed cool and didnt restart on its own.
With my previous experience with the HTC Desire, which pretty much started like this and now it's just a brick with faulty motherboard, i am little considered with the mobile.
My question is, does any one face with similar problem, does atrix 2 have the random rebooting issue? I tried to search here and as well as on the net but found the original atrix used to have similar issues but not he A2.
yes it does, the problem also occurred to me sometimes. it will hang and the randomly restart itself
Hmm.. if it throws up the same problem i am gonna straight away take it to the dreaded motorola service center..

[Completed] HTC One M8 FAIL after Android 6 OTA update

Hi, I updated my HTC One M8 today (stock ROM) to Android 6 via an OTA update sent to the phone.
The update went fine - no error messages. But after the final reboot, I am getting constant (and I mean constant, not every few seconds) errors that all process are stopping. Particularly, after everything else has stopped, I get repeated messages about android.process.acore, android.process.media, Google Services Framework, and Google Play services unexpectedly stopping (I guess these are the ones that keep starting up and failing). By pressing "OK" or "close" on these messages, sometimes I can press something very quickly before another message pops up. In this ridiculous manner, I was able to do/find out the following:
- Pressing the home button shows me the white screen with "htc" written on it, like on phone startup
- Pressing the recent-apps button actually does show me the recent apps and I can click on them, though most of them just close right after I open them. Some work (like I can receive phone calls; I just don't hear the phone ring, and I have to press the "talk" button in between pressing OK on error messages)
- I can get into the settings screen. In this way, I tried:
- Disabling one by one every app I could - no help
- Clearing cache & data for all contact & calendar app I could find, and also for Google Services Framework
- I tried to remove my Google accounts from the "accounts and sync" menu, but whenever I press "Remove" it gives me the Google Services Framework has stopped error.
I also tried booting into the recovery screen and clearing the cache partition.
Nothing works!! Please can anyone help me save my phone without wiping it? Unfortunately, since I started the Android update by accident (pressed "now" instead of "later"), I didn't backup anything beforehand... and while my contacts and calendars are always backed up, my apps & preferences & media files are not. I also tried connecting to a computer via USB, but while the computer recognizes the phone, I cannot actually access the files (I see it as a drive, but when I open it there are no files or folders) - so no possibility to back up the files in that way...
Thank you!!

Google Play Music error message

Hello all,
This started happening on my S7 Edge and continued happening once I switched to Pixel, but every time I disconnect from WiFI I get the error notification "Can't download music No WiFi connection". As far as I know all of my downloads have been completed and this happens *every* time I disconnect from WiFi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: The only troubleshooting I've done is clearing the play music cache.
I saw this answer from Google as I was having a similar problem. Seems to be working the last few hours.

Refresh your library. To do so, follow these easy steps:
Open the Google Play Music app .
Touch the menu icon Google Play Music Menu icon.
Make sure the downloaded only switch is off. The switch is gray when it's off.
Touch settings > refresh.
Wait two minutes, and view your library again.
Clear cache for Google Play Music app (Go to settings > apps or application manager > Google Play Music > clear cache > ok).
Check for updates for the Google Play Music app.
Check sync settings. Here's how:
Open the settings app on your device.
Touch accounts > Google.
Touch the account you use with Google Play Music.
Make sure the checkbox next to Google Play Music is checked.
Restart your device.
Seems to have worked for now! Thanks! I'll update if it returns or if I find a separate solution.

Hello, i've had redmi note 9 pro for almost a year, boguht it month after it released. Im not sure if its global or EU version tho it says miui 12.0.2 global i guess its global then. Recently my phone started acting strange. My volume started to decrease by itself even if i dont have my headphones plugged it. It litteraly does it for no reason. And when i plug in headphones it decreases the sound and phone starts to fucntion itself, pressing random buttons and apps. Exiting spotify. Any reason and fix for this?
The reason may be somehow your speaker got some water in it during use. Don't worry if it's causing the problem then there's a way to fix it. But to do so you must follow these steps.
1. At first reboot or restart your phone. Then to check the sound quality play some high volume music. Adjust the volume to confirm if the problem is fixed or not.
2. If the first step fails. Then follow the second step. Go to the "setting" option on your phone. Tap on "storage" then select "Free up space". And then tap on "clear cache".
3. After that, go to "App and data" and check if you have installed any unsafe applications. Uninstall the suspected data.
4. Select the "Additional setting" then turn on the "clear speaker". If you hear a mild noise then its working. It will run for 30 seconds and will automatically turn off itself. This process will help to clean the dust and water that may have inserted the speaker.
5.If this does not fix the problem, you may need a software update. Go to "about phone" and update your software.
