Sticky fingers

I just got my first capacitive phone today. While response is smooth, finger-sliding gets troublesome after some time when my fingers become sticky. I never had to deal with it on resistive screens since I use my nails, but how do you guys deal with this problem? Would a screen protector help?

Invisible shield is the way to go. some say it gets yellow, and doesnt stick very well, but I have had a few devices that had it, and never had this problem. Maybe they are smokers? My HD2 is so nice with the IS
Dont get full body. just screen.

Awesome and how long do these last on the screen? Can I still clean it with a LCD Cloth so there is not finger prints on. If I was to remove do they leave residue?
How do they work with capacitive screens? Wouldn't electron paths be less accurate with an extra insulation layer? Also, how do they look on AMOLED screens?

Slightly bigger screen protector that covers the line around screen?

HI there, is anyone aware of screen protectors that cover those lines around screen where the dust gets in? PLEASE? Thank you

[Q] Screen not responsive after replacement

Hi everyone,
I replaced my HTC Sensation screen yesterday due to it being cracked. The screen fitted fine but it seems that on the right side of the phone the screen can be pushed down slightly which means I have to push the screen down hard for a button to be pressed.
What can i do to fix this?
Thanks.

Do you see any cracks on the digitizer (Touch Glass). Also does touch works? If your touch works that means your digitizer is fine and you only need to change LCD screen.

It's because of different aspect ratio.

There shouldn't be any black lines on home screen. In videos there can be because of the aspect ratio. Better if you post a image of your phone.

I agree, without a picture we can only guess. But on the homescreen there should not be any black lines.

On home screen it should be full display, no black lines, if u do have black line. Then u probably have a defective phone, claim warranty. But better post a picture first.
Will upload pic...but i looked closely today and noticed its reflection of pre applied screen protector? Am i stupid? I hope its fine! Plzzz confirm it look at the edge of it!

It does sound like you might just be seeing the edges of the pre-applied screen protector, although that shouldn't appear black, maybe you got the edge of it dirty, just remove it and see, it won't really provide that much protection anyway tbh, you would be better buying a glass screen protector.
The other possibility might be dead pixels but they wouldn't normally have a whole line of them although who knows with the new screen.

I don't have the phone yet so I can't check, just remove the screen protector and then you won't even need to visit the service centre, it really doesn't provide that much protection anyway. Of course, if you do so and then decide to drop something on it, I'm not taking any responsiblity for that
