i have problem with my ZTE N986D( Indonesian andromax v2/ new andromax v), after i do factory reset and wipe ceche partition i can't go to home screen, it stuck on setup wizard and need wifi conection, i've tried to conect to my router but wizard stop and back to welcome( choose languange for setup wizard) , installing official ROM from ZTE in recovery mode can't be done, flashing by flashtool can't detect ADB devices may USB debug locked by produsen, here the spec of my device

Download "Universal ADB Driver" just search it on Google and it'll come up. Install it.
You said "Recovery Mode" so you have a custom recovery? Or is it stock. If its custom just send a ROM to you SD card and flash it.
If its a stock recovery, simply download an official firmware and force update it.
Question - Do you have a custom recovery?

That was stock recovery, i've install adb driver but my pc can't detect for any adb device because i can't enable usb debug,
Then i've also downloaded official firmware from zte but installation was aborted

Steps that you must to know :
1. Root device first by using such as Vroot or other universal pc app root for android :good:
2. Then we can enable usb debugging mode !! use this password : "260981"
3. Install custom recovery
Download Carliv Touch V2.2
Download MobileUncle MTK Tools
- Open MobileUncle Tools
- Go to Recovery update
- Select your carliv touch img file
Taraa.. you have root, usb debug on, and custom recovery on your NEW SMARTFREN ANDROMAX V / SMARTFREN ANDROMAX V2

I can't enter any menu or setting to my android system, it's just setup wizard afterall thats why i can't do anything with such pc software
my device can't be detected as ADB device as long as i can't reach for setting,
my device can be detected as ADB devices when i go to stock recovery mode then select update from adb,but by that condition no pc's software that conect, comand promt just know my device as 123456789abc
question: can i force usb debug via pc's software by my device condition?

Random Restart After press power button short once
It is happened to my Andromax V2 ZTE N986D when i press the power button instead of shut the screen off, its open a new windows with option Shutdown, Restart, Airplane Mode (The menu that sould be on the screen after I press long the power button). then the phone randomly got Restarted.
When i open BBM application the phone also get random restarted. :crying:
I have tried to reset factory and it still happened. :crying:
What should I do :crying:

I have a blu tango, i rooted with z4root and i try to make backup to sd card via rom manager and recovery clockwork, the problem start when i restart the phone in recovery mode, and the phone was stuck on blu logo! I cant find a rom image to this model. In the web i see a phone from russia called highscreen cosmo, is exactly the same phone, but the cosmo have 2 sim cards, i download soft to recovery called dmtools, some rom to recover and the phone stuck on QSCBL download fail!!! Anyone have this phone? Please help!

FastBoot Mode for Blu Tango ( "power" + "vol +" + "vol -") <--- at same time then when the red ligth turns on use ( "power" + "vol +") now you are in FastBoot Mode.
To use FastBoot to reflash tango u need the vendor ID it's "FastBoot -i 0x1219"
you can flash CWM using "FastBoot -i 0x1219 flash recovery recovery.img" go google and download highscreen cosmo recovery

hi forum i format my zte startext 2 android phone data and boot after do this my phone not start only open clockworkmod recovery i download a rom i instal that rom usin cwm recovery after installing phone restart and now only show startext written in green on screen now i can`t run cwm recovery when i plugin usb cable same screen appears no charging screen show and no responce on pc but today when i hold and press both volume up and down button and connect usb cable screen remain off but in my pc it appears zte technologies i instaal zte usb drivers but phone not show can anyone help me i wanna install cwm recovery but adb tool says device not found

hi to make recovery to the phone, download kingsoft root and root it then download mtk droid tools and moboginie, install them then connect your phone to mobogenie then open mtk droid tool and click root on the phone click agree ,and wait the yellow box to turn green if it doesn t reconnect and connect the phone then go to the second window on mtk droid tool and click recovery and boot from phone and keep clicking yes if it fail download this boot and recovery and use them with the same method just in recovery and boot click on choose boot.img and then it will ask you to install the recovery to phone click yes and u finished

I have a peculiar problem here. I am not a programmer or some thing like that. But an avid fan of android.
I am not able to get my rooted 6042d detected in SP FT & MTK droid tools to take a back up. My system is Win.XP [SP3]. I even formatted the system twice to remove left overs. Even, I am clue less how to get it done. I installed the drivers provided by you. I think my ignorance of windows is the main hurdle here. Can you please guide me - how to? Sorry for the bother.
I wish to flash the secure CWM made by you and the LP style rom followed by it.
1. spft says 'the application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect....reinstall..'
2.mtk droid tools says 'the device is not revealed.. connect or reconnect...' - on the right side -' in system already available android debug bridge 1.0.26'

I recomend u to go to this link to solve your Spft problem...
and i think u must download your stock rom instead of making backup...
after this problem solved try to flash unsecured boot.img first..
then u can try flashing My CWM recovery or Philz Recovery
(philz recovery can be found here...)
and got to this link
you can understand what is your problem connecting in mtk driod tool...
I think u must flash it.. because its the problem of your phone...

I want to have a SPFT back up in Droid Tools to be on safe side with imie etc. [being able to run Droid tools.]

Then Uninstall any previous driver installed of your phone on your pc....
then install the driver mention above....
and after that if the problem remains try to download and install proper adb driver by this....

I have an old phone Infinix note 3 X601 which I haven't used since years, I got it out today and after turning it on I did a reset factory, and after the reset factory was done the phone won't bootup anymore when I turn it on it goes to the boot loader screen and give me this message at the bottom "[!] Data couldn't be decrypted and mounted. Please restart recovery from Power Menu" and when I press restart recovery nothing happens it go back to the same screen, but this is not the official boot loader because back then when I was using it I rooted it and installed Carliv Touch Recovery boatload instead of the official and also I had a custom Rom installed.
Can someone help me, please ?

Please setup MTK drivers first and add filter using lib usb.
