Need urgent help with my Samsung galaxy Tab 3 8.0. Today I got root access with clock work mod and went on to get pimp my rom. then just from curiosity i changed pixel density to lowest not really sure what i was doing. it then restarted and was all zoomed in. it said the samsung keyboard was not working and neither was touchwiz home. this meant i couldnt go back to pimp my rom and undo it. ( i also tried using s voice but didnt work.)
i was starting to worry so my brother suggested factory reseting. i did this but still zoomed up and unable to type or use homescreen. Cannot see any way to undo. tablet practically useless. I am very Scared will some one please help me.

okay, so i'm very new to this rooting concept.
i rooted 2 days ago using Z4Root. It seems to have worked, installing SuperUser.
A friend directed me to BlackDroid.net, supposedly to get free apps. I went from my default browser on my Samsung Fascinate and installed a few apps.
One app i installed was Type Fresh. I was messing around with the fonts within the app, trying to understand what was actually changing on the phone. I had rebooted the device around 5 times within an hour after making (what I thought were) font changes.
After changing some fonts, the device began to malfunction:
- Upon reboot, the device will show the Samsung logo while playing the intro music for Galaxy S & Verizon Wireless.
- The device never gets passed this screen.
- After a battery pull, the device showed "downloading - do not turn off target!!!"
- I read in these forums that a battery pull should help. No luck. It still boots up the Samsung logo screen only.
- I've tried a factory reset by holding the volume keys and power button, but the device ONLY boots up into the samsung logo screen.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Hello, I am attempting to do something that I didn't think would be that hard and it has ran me into so many problems.
I have the Samsung Galaxy s4 Active. So I now have gained root acess, but I found out I cannot change the boot animation that easily for samsung phones because they use a different something. So I go through the trouble of downloading a ton of crap and making a animation compatible with my phone, set it up, and email it to my device copy paste to system/media and ovverrite existing. Rebooted, Said samsung then custom under it with a unlocked lock. Rebooting ever since does nothing so I gave up with that and decided to look into a mod allowing using basic bootanimation.zip like all other phones, But for Samsung active can't use Clockwork mod or whatever so I gotta get something else called Flash Gordon. When I go to download it on my phone, I get an error. First it says "Connecting to Dl.xda.developers and then it'll say Sorry, this player does not support this type of audio file and I'm at a loss because now my phone will not lock or time out the screen. When I hit the lock button it won't lock. It works fine becuase if I hold it it pulls up turn off and crap. I just made sure in settings that screen timeout is set at 15 sec and it won't timeout already tried reboot for fixing that and it didn't help. I feel like giving up right now..
Hey guys.. im kinda in a pickle.. And didnt know where else to turn to
So basically i rooted my phone. Everything went well . The reason for rooting was pretty much to change my DPI. And when i got the DPI changing part. Things went wrong.
I found a program on app store like DPI changer or something that allowed me to change it. Saw it, did it. And it like messed up my screen reso, everything was big and couldnt click OK and stuff. So as the app said to reset the normal DPI just reboot the phone. So i did.. But the DPI remained the same. So i figured i would uninstall the program.. Maybe that would be the case.. Since i couldt click the ok button to change it back to my default after opening the program again after rebooting. And that did nada. So i assumed i can download another DPI changer that has the OK button more above of the screen. After brief search i found one. And when i set it to my default (160 ) It asked reboot .. And i was so relieved.. thougt i was golden. But after the LG welcome screen the lights in the bottom are on. And the screen just stays black.. I tried to get to the CWM menu or something to do a reset but that doesnt work. Also tried fixes i found online but hasnt yet found one that works for me...
So as said above phone is LG E610 (L5 i think )... And in my oppinion is that the screen just cant run in like these 2 messed up DPI settings. Is there a way to like reset the DPI to default only using an USB while the phone is turned off, that would be my main question.
Also im not really familiar with the terms and stuff IF anyone minds taking the time and replying in "human" language . I would appreciate it alot

So I recently got my OPO, thinking it'd be delivered with android 5.0.2 cm 12s. Guess what: it came with cm11. Of course I wasnt noticing that at all and I rooted it. Now I'm stuck with 4.4.4 because OTA doesnt work now anymore.
Well, so I just installed a game caller COD:BOZ. It's call of duty black ops zombies which is buyable in the play store. I tried to install it on my new OPO and I launched it. However when i entered the menu all sorts of things went wrong.
It looks like things fall outside my screen. Like the menu just doesnt fit on it. I found that really strange as it worked on several devices:
Samsung galaxy ace plus with 2.3.6
Htc desire 500 with 4.1 or something similar
Even some other devices i cant recall
I tried to turn on the screen buttons instead of the buttons beneath the screen. Didn't make things any better.
However, when I manage to get in a game, things are fine. It's just the menu being messed up.

I've just recently rooted my Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T and I've seen several videos on how to change the UI sounds to whatever you want. But I've run into a few problems with doing so. First one is the lock screen one. I changed it to a car lock sound when I lock it, but it still sounds like the factory one. I'm using Root Explorer to do all the changes I'm also renaming them with bak on the end, and I'm rebooting the phone as well so the changes go through. And once it loads up the sound I pick shows it being there, but doesn't play. And the charging sound isn't changing either. I even changed up the boot animation one to a Black Ops Ghosts one and it loaded showing it, but all I got after that was my phone showing the Galaxy Note 3 picture and I had to unroot my phone and re-root it. Can anybody tell me why all this is happening? I really want to make these changes final and have my device work the way I want it. Thanks in advance.
