Mms help. T-Mobile and Verizon - General Questions and Answers

Need some input please. I recently joined t-mobile with the nexus 5. My wife has Verizon. I have been having issues sending and receiving pictures Sent mms between the devices. After speaking with customer service at t-mobile I was told that they have a mms size limit of 2gb and that is why the pics are not sending or being received. Apparently Verizon also has an mms size restriction similar to this. Why did I not have issues in the past when on Verizon? Doesn't the carrier reduce the file size when sending? So am I supposed to resize every pic before sending when I haven't done so the past 5 years? Is this. Nexus issue? Thanks

Did you just get your captivate and re-up your contract with Att? When I got mine the Att guy forgot to move over my SMS plan and I also had to call Att after the fact since something messed up in their systrm that prevented me from sending or recieving texts.
Might be worth a shot to call your carriers customer support.
I had issues sending and receiving texts. I called AT&T, and they admitted to having messed up my texting plan when I came over from LG Xenon and cancelled my $5 for 200 text option. They had to enable my free pay as you go text plan option, and I was able to text just fine after that. Why they would disable the free option in the first place is beyond me.

[Q] Increasing Max MMS Size? Or receiving iPhone MMS

So basically, my girlfriend sent me an MMS from her crappy blackberry (maybe a 3mp camera) and it came though fine and fast. But my mom sending me an MMS from her iPhone 4s never seems to work. On stock onclick, or now on MHX 5.0. Sock MMS app or the new AOSP one. I think maybe it has to do with size, but also maybe just because it is from an iPhone? I recieved one mms from her that worked, when I was on the phone with her and I checked it while on the phone. I am outside of an LTE area if that matters.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

New to Verizon and need help

Hey guys I just switched to Verizon from Sprint like 5 days ago. I have two questions not about my s3 but Verizon in general. Every time my wife and I send a text longer than one sms it will fail. She has a razr m and i have the s3. All the time. If they are short they will send. I never had this problem on Sprint. It would break the text into smaller texts. Also is Verizons tep like sprints? Thanks for your help guys.

[Q] At&T Post-Paid MMS

I pulled my sim from an iPhone 5s and put it in my Nexus 5. It auto provisioned the APN's and MMS is listed in the type field. I can send MMS to people, but not receive. Anyone else seeing the behavior?
I'm on aio (pre paid at&t)(7gigs/$70) with same problem. They put the apns at the store.
Side note. Not really happy with service. Co worker has post paid at&t. He gets easy better speeds standing right next to each other.

MMS Size 930F

Using my 930F on ATT and so far all the stock images I've been trying have an MMS limit of 300k, crazy small since on ATT you can send almost a full 1mb. Does anyone have a image they are using that has a larger limit or is this just a fluke since I'm on ATT?
