That's kernel source
You have to build it
Not radio.....

all kernels can be flashed from recovery
if you are S-ON use 4ext recovery and enable smartflash before flashing a kernel
So I'm running my One S with Codename Lungo using the 3.0.80 Kernel.
Prior, I Was using the LiquidSmooth 2.4 with the Twisted Kernel, which I really liked.
Is flashing the Kernel as simple as taking the boot.img from the LiquidSmooth.zip and flashing it via fastboot after flashing Codename Lungo using TWRP?
I have HBoot 2.15.0000 and radio 1.13.50.05.31 if any of that matters...
Yes it should be to my knowledge but I could only use one kernel because others didn't have a boot.img but that was while I was s-on
If you have s-off then in theory you don't need to flash boot.img via fastboot
Edit: obviously flash the kernel in recovery straight after the ROM not just the boot.img because you forgot to mention that in your post
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
I want to flash the Stockbeats Kernel 1.2. My device (k2u) is S-On, as mentioned in the Installation notes I have to flash the boot.img with fastboot. But the file is not included in the zip. Any idea?

marked as solved
answer: s-on devices are not supported

Only the author can change this, so maybe write him a polite pm.

Thanks for the reply guys!

Hi, I wanna flash this rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425839) and it says I need HBOOT 2.15 (which I have) in order to update the kernel to 3.4. After I do that, will I be able to downgrade to my old kernel? or is it as simple as just reinstalling my old rom which had an older kernel?
Thanks!

You have 2.15 hboot so you are ok to install that rom.
I assume you are S-on so whenever you install a rom through your custom recovery just the Rom is installed. The kernel hasn't been changed, you need to fastboot flash the boot.img to install the kernel.
To find the boot.img you will need to open the Rom.zip on your pc and copy the boot.img to your fastboot folder. You will need to do that whenever you try a new Rom, or want to try a different kernel from the development section.
