Which rom are you running? Did you flash the BML or MTD version of the modem?
I'm using Build 4.3.1015 BeanStalk-Updated 10/27/2013-4.3
I think I'm flashing MTD version. I downloaded in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1869159

Yup, you're using the MTD which is the right modem for this rom. Not sure why it's not working though. It might just be a corrupted file. Download it again and check the MD5 sum before you try to flash it.
yah.... but how i check MD5??

Nevermind, I thought these files came with an MD5 sum for comparison. You can try redownloading UCLB3 and flashing again to see if it'll work. The random reboots are probably due to kernel issues. The Infuse JB kernel is a souped-up version of the GB kernel. While it usually works great, occasionally, it will experience some instability.
I downloaded again and still the same error.
tried flashing other modems that already have saved on my sdcard and already installed other times without problems ....
but now I can't.
do you have any idea?

I'm out of ideas but I'm sure there's someone on the boards that will be able to figure it out. In the meantime, Google is your friend.

Hey all,

for about twenty minutes now. Any thoughts on what's going on and what to do about it?
EDIT: Possibly a corrupted download? Chrome has been doing that a lot recently.
Thanks.

Very possibly a corrupt download. You should be checking the md5 of anything you're going to flash to make sure the file is ok. Don't you do that?
What can I say.

It was a corrupted download. Flashed back into recovery, restored my backup, tried again with a new download, everything's 110%.

That's a really good way to brick your phone.

Indeed it is. It just wasn't something that was ever declared as being important last time I messed around with a phone (this would be almost four years ago) so it's not something I got into the habit of doing, is all. Now I know better.

Do you normally download directly to your phone or to your PC?
I just use Cyandelta to handle the installation of the CM 12 nightlies for me. So far, no issues. Fingers crossed.

There's a good program called Winmd5 (I think), it's free, that'd what I use on Windows. Or if you're running Linux you can just check the md5 using the terminal with this command:
Code:
sudo md5sum <filename>
Hi guys. I figured I wanted CM12 instead of OxygenOS. I was using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/switch-oxygen-os-to-cm12-os-twrp-t3081896
I downloaded the file, copied to my phone, went into recovery mode, wiped data as told in the thread, and tried installing the zip file. Unfortunately I got some error there saying something about a MD5 file. It wouldn't let me install the zip file. So I had to install OxygenOS again. Now I'm sitting here with my OPO being totally reset. I tried downloading the zip file again but now whenever I try to copy the zip to my phone it stops at 1/3th of the copying progress (tried this 4 times, same result every time). I can't seem to copy the file to the phone in any way.
I'm using TWRP version 2.7.something I believe.
Any help would be appreciated!
Sander

The best way to go from Oxygen to CM12 is by flashing the stock images with fastboot. See section 8 of my guide:

any solution please
Sorry, maybe I am being dumb but isn't the md5 file just used to verify size? You need to flash the .Tar not .Tar.md5?
Anyway. Try a different USB port, cable and even computer. I've had similar problems like this and changing the cable oddly worked.
I had the same problem. I solved it by extracting firmware with WinRar, delete the hidden.img file (contains carrier bloat and blaha, no worry about that...), repack with 7-Zip as tar file. Then voila, no problem!

Hello
My phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 had encountered some problems and I tried to flash it with N7100XXUFNI4.
However, it failed and tells me that PIT file is missing.
So when I added a PIT file, it says repartition operation failed.
And now this is what my phone currently looks like:

Can you still get to download mode?
When you flashed the PIT file, did you also flash the stock firmware along with it? Did you have the "repartition" option checked in Odin when you flashed it.
If not, try it.

Hello, thanks for your reply!
I cannot get into download mode anymore, there is no words or icons available.
Yes, I put the PIT file and the stock firmware together in Odin when I flash.
I also did checked the repartition option.

It seems to me that you might have flashed the wrong firmware or the wrong PIT.
Does your device charge? Does it vibrate when you power it on?
Have you tried using the button combo to boot into download mode then press volume up to enter download mode then try flashing via Odin again? Regardless of what is being displayed, it might actually be booting to download mode, if so, you can probably still flash the device.
The display not displaying correctly might be due to the kernel not being correct for your device. The kernel contains the drivers to make the display work correctly.

Authorization for PIT file.
When flashing only one BL,AP or CP the partition allocation/information table has to be read from device.
If flashed only one file it's not recomendet to tick Re-partition (Odin).
When setting the PIT (Inside CSC_OMC) the files / blocks are flashed to desired position.
To bring things back extract the pit file from the CSC_OMC and flash all binaries in BL/AP/CP/CSC_OMC with selected pit file from CSC_OMC binary (If all binaries are flashed, the pit is not needed for specification) !
The DID on download screen makes me believe it is related to bootloader lock
[Android][UNSAMLOCK] Bootloader Unlock for Samsung US/Canada Devices
KG Status is PRENORMAL. You won't be able to flash custom binaries while in this state. Reflash stock firmware and connect to the Internet, then verify the OEM Unlocking toggle in Developer Options is still visible - it should be grayed out, "Bootloader is already unlocked".
Once it's visible, reboot to download mode. KG STATUS should be COMPLETED, you can now flash custom images.
why the heck did we reply to a two years old thread
