THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO UPGRADE UR CANVAS 2 TO JELLYBEAN.SO TODAY I AM DISCUSSING ALL THE METHODS IN THIS SINGLE POST.
THE FIRST METHOD....
the first way that is most often searched is to upgrade canvas 2 to official unrooted jellybean that is realeased by micromax.
I had already made a complete tutorial of this in my pevious thread. So if u want to upgrade to stock unrooted jellybean rom (i.e. v3) go the this link-
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368391
U CAN ALSO FLASH SUVI ROM V9 AS IT IS SP FLASH TOOLS FLASHABLE.ITS PROCEDURE OF FLASHING IS DAMN SAME AS MENTIONED IN ABOVE THREAD.
FLASHING SUVI ROM V9 METHOD CAN ALSO BE USED IF U ARE GETTING ANY KINDA ERROR IN ROOTING UR FONE OR PORTING CWM LIKE BROM ERROR:S_DA_SOC_CHECK_FAIL(3013) AS THIS ROM IS PRE ROOTED.
SECOND METHOD.......
The second method is to upgrade already rooted canvas 2 to rooted jellybean roms.
1.first of all download the stock jellybean zip file and place it in the root of ur fone's sd card i.e. outside any folder(just for sake of convinience).
LINK:
d-h.st/jGx
THIS IS A PRE ROOTED BUT SAME AS OFFICIAL JELLYBEAN ROM
2.boot into recovery by holding vol up+ vol down +power buttons simultaneously.
3.now wipe data/factory reset and also wipe cache partition.
4.go to advanced and wipe delvic cache.
5.now go back and select install zip from sd card and then choose zip from sd card.
6.locate the zip file and select it.let the installation complete.
7.go back and select reboot fone now.
WITH THIS U HAVE SUCCESSFULLY UPGRADED UR CANVAS 2 TO JELLYBEAN.
THERE ARE ALSO MANY OTHER JELLYBEAN ROMS FOR CANVAS 2. i am listing a few here.
1.jmp rom-LINK:
goo.im/devs/jigarmpattani/Micromax_A110/JMP_Jelly%20Bean/JMPv11.5_JB-4.1.1_25-May-2013.zip
2.suvi rom-link:
d-h.st/Imy
3.raven rom-link:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByHiJVjjrE83ZnVRZDBFZ0pJQnM
4.lewa os-link:
d-h.st/y9T
5.dr bhokhali rom-link:
d-h.st/mg2
AND MANY MORE..
VERYY IMPORTANT- PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT U HAVE A FILE NAMED BOOT.IMG IN UR ZIP FILE OF DOWNLOADED ROM.
IF U CANNOT BOOT.IMG FILE IN UR ROM THAN *DO NOT* DIRECTLY FLASH IT. FIRST FOLLOW THESE STEPS.
1.download boot.img file from below link
link:d-h.st/sgS
2.now extract ur rom'zip file using winrar or 7zip to any specified folder.
3.paste the above downloaded boot.img file in that folder and then zip it again using winrar or 7zip.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT U *ZIP* ALL THE FILES OF THE EXTRACTED FOLDER AND NOT THE FOLDER ILSELF.
IF U DONT PLACE BOOT.IMG IN UR ROM THAN U WILL SIMPLY BE STUCK AT BOOT LOGO.
WELL WITH ALL THIS *MESS* U WILL BE ABLE TO UPGRADE UR CANVAS 2 TO JELLYBEAN.
hit thx:thumbup: if i helped...

Battery Mod
You must have noticed that about 4% battery is drained till morning when phone is in standby, a simple buildprop tweak can solve this and now my phone drains only 0% OR 1% battery in standby overnight, just follow the steps below-
1.You must be rooted before doing this
2.Download root browser from playstore
3.Open Root Browser.
4.Scroll down and open system folder
5.Open build.prop, you will see a menu asking how to open the file, select Text Editor
6.Now be very careful, don't make any mistake here
7.Scroll to the bottom and type "pm.sleep_mode=1"
8.Now press back button twice then press yes to save the changes and restart
9.Now enjoy no battery drain
