I just bought my P780 from china retailer. Turns out the stock ROM doesn't support GSM lower than 2100 MHz. I've rooted my phone, so I'd like to know is the any CWM 6 recovery and how to flash it to the phone?
And is there any link to download another country's ROM so I can use my SIM?

CWM means clockworkmod recovery.
it does not need to be flashed
to get it,
1)get cwm zip file for your device.(use google)
2)then put that file in root directory of your sdcard
3) boot your phone in recovery mode and select cwm zip file.
then it would start cwm recovery

I managed to install CWM English using MobileUncle. Is there any ROM I can install via CWM, because the ones n needrom seems to be very difficult.

can u tell me how to use the flashtool from the beginning since it is my first time
it is recommended to take a nandroid backup before this flashing
ok if you need to flash rom from cwm than follow steps :
1) boot in recovery mode
2) wipe data
3) select apply update from sdcard and then select CWM file.
4) after CWM opens select your rom zip file
5) now flashing of new rom will start.
6) wipe data/factory reset in recovery mode only.
7) now reboot your phone.....
rom file is a zip file which can be obtained by searching on google.
***download rom file which is only applicable for your phone*
othervise your phone will brick***
this guide is applicable to all android phones......

You need to do much for flashing a custom rom..
You need to do a full wipe before flashing a rom not just data.
and you don't need to wipe data/factory reset since flashing a Custom rom will automatically wipe all data.
Also on some phones mostly HTC phones you need to Flash Boot.img manually when S-ON.

installation instructions :-
step 1. first of all backup your data partition using reovery.(LEWA RECOVERY for A90 is best because it can restore without md5 checking sometime needed ).
step 2. now download this file and copy to sdcard.
step 3. reboot to recovery holding up vol + power buttons.
step 4. select the blackmaxA90.zip file from sdcard and install.
step 5. now if you want your data back as like old you can restore data partition ( which you backed up at first step 1.) using recovery.
step 6. if you don't want to restore your data partition skip step 5 and reboot your device.
warning: use this thread on your own risk.don't blame anyone else if you bricked your device yourself

There are no more updates for mtk6575 and 6577 chips.
all are working for new chipset 6589 devices.

if you want moded playstore (as shown on last screenshot ) download this file.
after download don't install it directly.
follow these steps
1. open x-plore app and make sure to give it root permission in configurations.
2. now open root/system/app and delete Phonesky.apk file and copy downloaded Phonesky.apk to root/system/app that's it.
it should work on all rooted devices.

First of All things You need..
1. Rooted Micromax Unite 2 which would be rooted with Kingroot ( How to root Micromax Unite 2 without Pc) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2896139

4. Take backup of stock recovery
Procedure:-
First of all open the Recovery tools appand slide ur finger from Right side and you will see a option Backup Recovery .. Click that and backup your stock Recovery..
1)At first Download Your Favourite recovery
and move to the root of your SD CARD.
2)Install the Recovery Tool.apk,from the above link.
3)Now Open recovery tool.
4)now click on Flash Recovery and choose appropriate recovery.
5)for other recoveries,click on flash Other Recoveries,and choose from sd card.
6.now reboot.

1) Download the zip file from the download link provided below...
2) Extract the zip file....
3) You will find two zip files inside it,, first one is ROM zip and another is addons zip...
4) Copy both the zip files two your SDcard ..
5) Go to recovery mod and firstly take the nandroid backup and reboot...
6) Again go to recovery mod and wipe cache ,data ,system and dalvik cache flash the ROM zip only and reboot...
7) Then again go to recovery mod and flash the addon zip...
8) That's it ..now reboot your phone ....now fly with sparrow

Do not flash the addon zip just after installing ROM .... A reboot is necessory after installing ROM and after a reboot then flash addon zip.. Also don't do any factory reset after installing both rom and addon zip.
And after this if again any problem occur then do inform me...

USB Mass storage not working

I have installed Flying Sparrow OS in my A89. But my USB mass storage function is not working. I cannot connect it as a media device or as a camera. It just gets charging when connected to my computer. How can I get out of this??? Thanks in advance..

Actually flying sparrow is completely bugless but if you are facing problem of usb ,do the following things for solution. Firstly install the rom zip only don't flash the addon zip and reboot .Then try to connect your phone to your computer. Then usb will work.. And after this try ,go to recovery mode and flash the addon zip.. And reboot. Don't do factory reset.. Now usb will work.. If any other problem occurs report me

I downloaded your file, and transferred to SD card, I used CWM Recovery to install, after few steps , after opening update package...., installing update......, installation aborted. I tried the same 3 times and getting the same message. Kindly guide me to install your ROM in micromax A89.

Installation is abroted because you are installing the wrong zip file...
You need to firstly extract the downloaded zip file and you will find the ROM zip inside it
Kindly follow the steps...
1) Download the zip file
2) Extract the zip file....
3) You will find two zip files inside it,, first one is ROM zip and another is addons zip...
4) Copy both the zip files two your SDcard ..
6) Go to recovery mod and wipe cache ,data ,system and dalvik cache flash the ROM zip only and reboot...
7) Then again go to recovery mod and flash the addon zip...
8) That's it ..now reboot your phone

Everything is ok but between steps 1 and 2 you forget to extract zip file... After extraction you will find rom zip and addon zip.. You have to put these two zip files in your sdcard...

Flying sparrow is the best rom i have used till now. the only thing that i want to ask is how to change the background image of apps like settings, contacts,phone.
Secondly,certain changes made in xblast tools like of quick settings do not get implemented.how do i do that?
And finally, everytime i open Ex themer & select the theme option it says no data found. How do i theme my phone.
I use a micromax a89 ninja.

For changing the background wallpapers of apps you need to decompile them.. There are many tutorials available on xda ,kindly follow them..
Quick settings will not work work on flying sparrow as quick setting will only work for jb.. You can try to install them but i know that this feature will not work for an ics based rom.. Proceed to post no.2 in the discussion thread of flying sparrow for installing xposed framework.. Also i have provided the list features of xblast tools which are tested and work perfectly on flying sparrow.. If follow the procedure in post 2 correctly you will successfully work with exthemer... You need to select exthemer in the module list of xposed installer.. And reboot.. I hope this will help you and give answers to you your questions... Also participate in poll in flying sparrow thread...

I have installed your ROM, on MMX A89 just few minutes before, and it looks nice.
I have some questions and main is I DO NOT want Transparent background in any case.
How do I achieve that in your ROM? I do not like transparent background.
Please help me for this.
Note: I will wait for 1 day otherwise I will restore my old backup (ICS 4.0.4 company look). And what you had said about battery saver? What bug it has for battery?
