As the title states I'm looking for a ROM that has Wireless Display (aka Miracast) working for the XT925.

Is it possible to get this pad working with its own hotspot. Im looking to have it rooted and working on its own hotspot so I dont have to use the wifi.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The only way of connecting to the internet on this tablet is via wifi as it does not have 3G/4G built in.

Now that you mentioned it, is it normal that my tf300 has settings for 3g? There's even a signal bar (registering empty of course) beside the battery.

Asus is supposed to release a 3g (and possibly LTE?) version at some point. I haven't heard when the release is rumored to be. One of the days when I was on Asus's support site downloading firmware files the tf300g appeared in the dropdown menu. Supposedly thats the 3g version.

I think that both versions will appear since they are clearly mentioned in the users manual. Not sure when.

you can't, at least until with have no development on a510.
you'll have to wait for a dev to make a custom rom, then ask him to add your device drivers..

Check out this new app for Dongle support. Posted in the 500 forums yesterday. Confirmed working with the a500 ICS roms.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1795591
So it's possible it may work with the 510 and 700 models also,
MD
i tried it with no luck. just gave an error after i plugged in my dongle. was trying it with a sierra usb 306.

I have tried 3 diferent 3G USB dongles on my A510 and none of them works. So I have just swet my SGS2 mobile up to be a wifi hotspot and with 5GB data on my subscription I will have plenty of data for use when im not near a WIFI network I can use. Bluetooth keyboard and 2.5" USB hdd both work with my A510 when I plug them into the adapter that comes with the tablet but 3G USB dongles need to install some sort of software and havent found one yet which supports Android.
So use your mobile as WIFI hotspot if you can

only have a company cell, and i doubt they would be supportive of paying for the data on my tablet!
Our wiki (http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/ASUS_Transformer_Infinity/TF700T) states: "Three versions are available: TF700T (WIFI), TF700TG (3G) and TF700KL/TF700TL (LTE)" But I can't find the non-T variants in stores (ok, I only looked in a few places). Are they real? Are there any reviews of them? My main questions are:
* do the TG/KL/TL variants still come with wifi?
* what's the difference between KL and TL?
* KL and TL are 4G, so are they strictly better than TG?
*and probably a n00b question, but... how can 3G/4G work without a SIM card (if I have a SIM card phone, how am I supposed to get my tablet online other than the good old tethering)?

The 700KL does exist (and AFAIK you need to insert a SIM card to use 3G/4G) and also support Wifi - never heard about the TG or TL.

Are you sure the KL supports wifi? I thought it was 3G/4G (KL) or wifi (T) but not both on any device.
[Edit] I just looked up the specs and it does have wifi! I stand corrected. But for that price I would just assume use my Seagate wireless HDD with internet pass-thru and free root tether as effectively the same thing for way less $$$ with an added 1TB storage capacity.

Common sense: Any smartphone supports Wifi, so why should the TF700KL not? Confirmation: read the specs on the Asus product page.

I did not know that ALL smartphones support wifi. I guess if they didn't then they would be dumbphones! I sure wish it has a/b/g/n. Thanks.
I just ordered a Moto G 4G LTE and I was wondering if I could put Cyanogenmod on it. I know that it's available for the regular Moto G but I couldn't find any information about the LTE version of the phone.
Sadly no not at this moment cm is only available for the 3g versions. 4G Lte version is not supported at this point but don't worry because it will come eventually in the coming months
It's possible that it might not be part of the unified builds for CM11, as it has a different codename, "peregrine" vs "falcon" (for the 3G Moto G variants). In the meantime, don't risk bricking your device until official support comes.

Not totally... Motorola has propositely cut off miracast, so people who want to use it have to buy moto X (much more expensive)... And, even if you root it and enable miracast by editing build.prop, it can´t use wifi internet connection and miracast at the same time...
PS: It´s been prooved with cyanogenmod ROM for regular moto g that the hardware is totally capable of running miracast and wifi internet connection at the same time... It´s a pity the LTE version still doens´t have a fully functional cyanogenmod ROM...

I have noticed there is no 4G ONLY (LTE ONLY) in the network mode setting for this phone SM-A530F/ DS either for OREO or PIE
I am wondering if it's due to the hardware part not compatible ? or the android version that doesn't support that Option ?
any information about that please ?

Interesting.. I checked few phones and indeed none of them have 4G/LTE only option. 3G only is there though... All phones are on Oreo and Pie (Samsung, Huawei, Alcatel).
