First of all I'm thanking for this awesome website...........it's so helpful.
I rooted my phone and install Tigersense ROM today, it's working fine for me except the Internet Pass-through.
Everytime I connect my phone with PC for Internet Pass-through nothing happens............no error message or anything.
I also found that my phone doesn't respond with HTC Sync installed in my PC.
Plz, help me regarding these problems..............
PS: I'm using Windows 8 in my PC
Windows 8 pro and window 8 enterprise support driver

But it doesn't working with Windows 8.1

what os?
try a new cable, or try plugging the cable into a different usb port.
i got the same problem. my pc:
Windows 7 with windows device center.
can not recognise my device.
i plug in the touch pro. i get the message to choos active sync diskdrive or share my internet.
i choose active sync.
then nothing happens in device center.
tried uninstalling rndis. after restart it installes the phone again and then it works for 1 time only. after that its the same.
i have searched forums saying that uninstalling device center does not solve the problem. also they say downloading the version on the MC site is another version that Windows 7 is shipped with.
Need help, wanna install another rom. i do have another pc, but i wished it would work on this pc.
any help would be very appreciated.
EDIT 24-10-2009
Also got this message at the properties of Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Hope that this could help me in some way

You could just update to the latest HTC ROM from the official website if your phone is still under warranty, btw thats what i did but it didn't help. Note, that i'm running Windows 7 as my OS if anyone want to know this information to help solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

Settings-->Connections-->USB to PC and Uncheck Enable faster data Synchronization
I have the same problem.
in my situation i tried to recover usb-flash and flash a nokia phone. For both things programs installed their own drivers. Even after I deinstalled the software I probably still have their drivers on my pc. That's why I can't sync my phone...
is there a tool to manage installed drivers?
or the other way out is to reinstall windows 7
anyone willing to help?
This solution worked for me:
Thanks to Scubamike
copy and paste from

I found a different solution that worked for me: On my phone I clicked start/programs/active sync/options and deleted all the old PC connections that were displayed. In fact, you could probably just delete ALL the PC connections displayed and start from scratch. You'll just have set up another sync partnership in WMDC when you plug it in. Let me know if this helps.
it is to easy! should work ALWAYS:
Make sure "Advanced network functionality" is switched off in the USB to PC settings then:
go to activesync, menu, connections, disable "connect via USB" off, press "ok" go back to connections, enable "connect via usb" press "ok" unplug and replug your cable. and all works.
greetings

i have been all over the microsoft forums to no avail. i recently updated my laptop to win7, and have a fuze running 6.1 mobile. when i connect my fuze to the laptop the laptop recognizes it as it begins to charge, but then nothing. i try to open win mobile device center and this is the error message i get C:\windows\system32\rapistub.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains errors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and also tried different usb ports on my laptop. If anyone can help that would be awesome
Hi guys,
I tried to find an answer to my problem under the forum "Touch Cruise Android Development". Unfortunately, I did not find any relevant thread.
Could you please let me know how can I connect my HTC Touch Cruise (Froyo 2.2) to my laptop on Win7 64 bits?
When I connect my phone to my PC, Win7 tries to download drivers for the device name "Android Phone", but it failed (No drivers found).
I tried to :
- Use HTC Sync (it's not design for Touch Cruise)
- Try to manually install HTC drivers 64 bits (downloaded from here)
I am looking forward to connect my P3650 to my laptop to be able to share internet using USB (wifi is not working yet).
Thanks for potential answers.
You can't share your pc connection with polaris using usb.
install android sdk and the drivers from android develop (use google)
Will it be possible later?
On WM6.5 it was possible to share internet in both way (from computer to phone // from phone to computer (ex: using 3G)).
i don't think so because there are some other major problems to fix before it
i am still looking for some ways to share internet to my computer, can any one help? thx a lot

Hi everyone!
I have a HTC HD7 with Dynamics7 1.21 ROM. I have 2 PCs, on one i can sync my phone with Zune, on the other one Zune shows the message "No devices connected" (I'm from Austria, but I think the translation is OK^^)
working PC: Widows 7 Professional x64
other one: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
The phone is detected properly in Device Manager (driver version 4.8.2345.0).
Zune launches automatically when I connect the phone.
The USB port is working properly, because other devices are working (mouse, usb-stick, card reader, external hdd).
I have uninstalled VMware Player, libusb-driver, dlportio-64-driver, MSI OverClockingCenter, MSI GreenPowerCenter and reinstalled Zune (uninstall, reboot, install).
As I remember, everything was working fine some months ago, but I don't know what I changed until now. Please help me.
If you need more information I'll provide it.
Thanks in advance,
Mr nUUb
EDIT: I also reinstalled the drivers and deleted the contents of "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA". I tried to delete the certificates via certmgr.msc but I can't find them there.
Hey Guys, I own OPO 16GB. I recently upgraded my PC from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro. Since i upgraded my system my OPO is not detecting in MTP File Transfer Mode. Its connecting and working fine in Fast boot Mode on Windows 10 PRO. I have a Windows 7 Laptop too MTP is working fine with my laptop. How can i get it work with Windows 10 PC? i also try many methods which i found on Google like installing SAMSUNG and MOTOROLA drivers but it doesn't work.
I have upgraded to Windows 10 as well - but choose clean install and not experiencing this.
When I connect the OPO in MTP, it is recognized normally as a storage device and can be use in Explorer right away. Plus for MTP you do not need any drivers, only for fastboot.
Working here too, WIndows 10Pro not a clean install
Working fine for me, I updated my Windows 8.1 Pro (not a clean install) laptop and it's all working correctly
I have the Windows 10 Pro N edition that I recently upgraded to from Windows 8.1. Ever since then my computer will not properly get the drivers it needs for my android. In device manager it only shows it as MTP and when i try to point it to the correct Z5 driver I downloaded from Sony's website it immediately tells me it failed. I assumed the fix would be to download the Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 N versions but I have done that at least 4 times now and still refuses to be recognized properly. The most annoying part is my Windows 7 laptop recognizes it perfectly... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
