Connect to computer with Windows 7 x64 - Touch Cruise Android Development

Hi guys,
I tried to find an answer to my problem under the forum "Touch Cruise Android Development". Unfortunately, I did not find any relevant thread.
Could you please let me know how can I connect my HTC Touch Cruise (Froyo 2.2) to my laptop on Win7 64 bits?
When I connect my phone to my PC, Win7 tries to download drivers for the device name "Android Phone", but it failed (No drivers found).
I tried to :
- Use HTC Sync (it's not design for Touch Cruise)
- Try to manually install HTC drivers 64 bits (downloaded from here)
I am looking forward to connect my P3650 to my laptop to be able to share internet using USB (wifi is not working yet).
Thanks for potential answers.

You can't share your pc connection with polaris using usb.
install android sdk and the drivers from android develop (use google)

Will it be possible later?
On WM6.5 it was possible to share internet in both way (from computer to phone // from phone to computer (ex: using 3G)).

i don't think so because there are some other major problems to fix before it

i am still looking for some ways to share internet to my computer, can any one help? thx a lot

use wifi hotspot.

Installed ADB and not able to connect

Hello guys, I just got a G1 and wanted to activate my G1 without the broadband I installed the ADB on my PC (running XP Pro SP3) and it says that it doesn't found the phone. When I connected the first time windows looked for the driver so I don't know if this is the problem and I need to reinstall driver.
Thanks for your help!
You should install the driver yourself, teh driver that windows uses is to use it as a USB mass storage device. I'll see if I can find the driver you might wanna search around before people here get really mad that you didn't search.
here's the driver http://dl.google.com/android/android_usb_windows.zip You might also wanna check is USB Debugging is enabled.
Hi thelamacmdr, thanks a lot for you help, I dowloaded and installed but it's not working, checked on computer management - device manager and the installed driver is Android Sooner ADB testing interface but has a yellow ! and it seems not to work. Any ideas?

[Q] Tf101 and win7

Hi everybody!
I write here `cause I have a problem qith my tf101 and my pc (win 7) connection.
I used to be able, with the proprietary cable, to connect the two machine and manage the files in the tf101 as an hdd (even windows saw it as a different device, not hdd).
Recently I try again and.. nothing. Even with other pc, no sucess. the tf101 is not recognized at all (after a one-time attempt to install the ""unknown usb device"). The only things that I`ve done are the updates to the tf101 when avaiable. The version of the kernel is now 2.6.36.3.
I`m looking for a solution in the net for sometime now, and the only answer I get is the suggestion to connect via samba or similar. I`ve tried but is not intuitive and fast as the cable connection I use to use.
Has somebody solved the same problem or has any suggestion to make the cable connection work?
ps: I`ve already installed the latest drivers from Asus website in the pc.
Thanks in advance!!
1. try other PC or another OS on your PC
2. try other Cable
3. check your privileges on OS
4. etc to exclude negative staffs 1 by 1
I`ve already tryed with athor 2 pc (one win xp, one win 7), and another cable.
Still have to try with Ubuntu. I`ll do it as soon as I can.
As for the privileges.. you mean in the pc? Over there I`m admin. In the tf101... I didn`t do anything so I`m not superuser, if you mean that.
It seem strange that I used to be able to browse the tablet from the pc and all of a sudden I can`t anymore.
Tryed with Ubuntu. Doesn`t see it as well.

[Completed] Windows 10 USB woes

Hi all,
I am a beginning Android developer, currently doing a Coursera course at home on my Windows 10 laptop.
I have Android Studio installed and would love to run my projects on my Samsung Galaxy S5. There is no way though I can get adb (or Windows for that matter) to 'detect' my phone for debugging.
I have my deveopers options and USB options on on my phone, have installed Samsung USB driver for mobile devices, have installed the Windows Media feature pack (as this should give MTP support), have installed Intel's USB drivers for Android (my laptop has a core i5), all to no avail. I've put so much time into this and it is driving me crazy... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
I would like you to visit this thread and follow it, The method works for windows 8/8.1/10. You just need to use the correct drivers for your device.

Hey, sorry if I'm clueless, I managed to restart in Disable driver signature enforcement mode, but I have no idea where to find the ADB driver. I've installed Android Studio, no idea where it put it...
I searched the drivers from my settings, but couldn't find an ADB driver. Also did a search for ADB Driver.exe, but no go...
Here's another thing, if I go to the Android developers website (oem-usb.html page on developer.android.com, can't post links...) it has instructions for Windows 7 and Vista. It says:
Connect your Android-powered device to your computer's USB port.
Right-click on Computer from your desktop or Windows Explorer, and select Manage.
Select Devices in the left pane.
Locate and expand Other device in the right pane.
Right-click the device name (such as Nexus S) and select Update Driver Software. This will launch the Hardware Update Wizard.
Click to collapse
But when I connect my phone, it doesn't show up in the devices (ther is no Other devices section...)
