Before someone fires me with questions like what's new in this, i would like to confront that I know this guide is delayed to post as on date. But having noticed there are many ppl even today still with questions about how to root Jelly Bean based MMX A110. Thought of posting this guide for those people.
Dear Visitors, Please Thank the links (XDA links) on click that i mentioned below for downloads.
Disclaimer: Rooting voids your warranty. Neither ME nor XDA will be held responsible for bricking your phone. Use at your own risk.
Downloads1. SP Tools & VCOM Drivers
2. Micromax A110 drivers
3. CWM Recovery 6.0.3.3
4. MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt
5. 7-zip
6. SuperSU-v1.04.zip
Install CWM Recovery1. Extract MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.zip, CWM Recovery to some path say C:\MMX\Update folder. Note: Extracted recovery must appear with filename as "recovery" mandatorily.
2. Extract SP Tools.7z with 7-zip software and locate to some path say C:\MMX\SPTOOL folder
3. Install VCOM and Micromax A110 aka Cynus Drivers.
4. Run Flash Tool.exe from extracted folder. Click Scatter-loading button and locate to the path C:\MMX\Update folder and select MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt
5. Check the box RECOVERY only and Uncheck everything else.
6. Turn off your phone, Reinsert battery but don't plug in to pc now.
7. Click the Download(F9) button
8. Plug your phone (Turn off condition only) and it may ask some additional verification steps like install unsigned driver in Windows 7/8. Simply click yes install unsigned driver and wait.
9. You will see some msgs like Preloader bla bla. Just wait until you see OK button displayed on screen.
At this point CWM Recovery is installed. Click OK and disconnect your phone.
To enter Recovery: Press Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button together for few seconds until you get menu with options like Recovery and Factory reset. Select option Recovery by pressing Volume Up button. Another menu with 3 options will appear namely Recovery Mode, Fastboot Mode, Normal. Select Recovery mode by pressing Volume Down button. Here you go into CWM Recovery menu
RootingTwo ways possible.
1. Either install some Custom ROM which obviously will be pre rooted.
OR
2. Place the downloaded SuperSU-v1.04.zip in Internal or External SD. Goto CWM Recovery. Choose option Install from SD card and browse to SuperSU-v1.04.zip You will get message as installation complete. Reboot your phone. Done..!!!

Probably you mean to say about Bin4ary tool. That worked only with ICS. I don't know if there was an update released for it to root jelly bean on MMX A110. Anyway, This method mentioned at OP will work for rooting both ICS and Jelly Bean using the well known SP Tools which is also used for flashing STOCK ROMS.
Hi bro..
No need to mention that u spend some time in making this thread.
There will be some noobs always making threads in help and troubleshoot section to ask how to root? Thats because i think that they never used that search button to find out existing threads. If they are directed to any present thread than they are able to root easily. IN SHORT THEY ARE IN THE HABBIT OF SPOON FEEDING!
Well by the way good work buddy.
Nice tutorial.

Hi buddy..I mentioned those first few lines bcz sometimes it happens some ppl with typical mindset having sound knowledge ll jump in and try to show off just to avoid those rude comments I had mentioned. Agree I saw threads alike. But as u said, they weren't with clear title and instructions at op. Biggest confusion to ppl mindset was when jelly bean came out and bin4ary tool couldnt root. So thought a separate guide could be clear enough and helpful for newbies thanks for the appreciation.

Oh sorry bro....
I actually wanted to say something else but now I think that I had conveyed something else.
By saying "noob" i actually pointed out those persons who make threads in help and troubleshoot section for asking "how to root" and not at all you.
I referred to them when i said that they never used search button and make the same threads again and again in this hope that they will receive a link of that threads....(they always wanted to be spoon feeded)
Edited my previous post. Now it is what i actually wanted to say. Still if u feel i am one of that typical mindset person than i will delete that post.

Hello buddy! It does not work, as the phone itself is a very tough phone to root. Kingroot and neither of the apps work.
Even flashing SuperSU [or any version of SuperSU] via TWRP or any recovery doesn't make any difference.
I will put a root file or a root prOcedure on this thread ASAP.
Just stay tuned!
okay

No buddy! Negative.
Because when root is impossible to get even after flashing any supersu zip file via twrp [the most complicated and HAS TO ROOT ANY DEVICE method], rooting it within just apk or exe root applications is absolutely nothing in comparison.
Neither of apks/exes work. I've tried all [don't even need to try, because while supersu doesn't get flashed, no other alternative would root a device]
Moreover i have found a Cyanogenmod 13 for this device which is pre rooted.
Will post it on the ROMs section soon. .

Hey, never mind! I have ported and uploaded 2 TWRP recoveries in the link below to My Google Drive.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7Cl4N8BpGmgcm55NWNTUTBIUGs
Flash it via SPFlashTools and let me know which version works the best!
And yeah, don't call me sir, just call me avi.
Ciao!
Both are not working
