Alright so, I'm trying to flash my QMobile Noir A2, also known as MyPhone A818 also known as MicroMax A45 PUNK. But qMobile is different, same firmware but when i turn off the phone, remove batter, re insert and plug it in. PC Detects the "MT65x PreLoader" And so does the SP Flash tool which I use to flash a custom ROM (Pre-Rooted) to the phone. But then, my phone shows the battery charging logo and PC no longer detects it. Is there anyway I can get around this? I tried EVERY method of rooting so please don't mention that.

Also, my phones using MT6575 processor which is better than MicroMax's MT6563 processer, I tried rooting using the MT6563 method and flashing but again as mentioned above. PreLoader won't work

megA_man, I get the SAME error now. It just says [BROM] Cannot pass boot rom command through usb. Please tell me if you have a solution!

I think you are using JB. You have to use sp flash tool for flashing cmw recovery.

same problem but sp tool gives brom error s_ft_need_download_all_fail

i just recently rooted my lenovo a516 and i tried one of the root apps called Chainfire 3d.it installed and rebooted my Phone but my phone got softbricked and is in bootloop.i now know that chainfire 3d does not support android jellybean.any help unbricking my phone? I'm going to try flashing it with STOCK ROM but will it work? helppp please :crying:

Chainfire 3D is not compatible with Jelly bean, you can use a similar app for it called GLTools .To unbrick your phone you will need to flash a ROM with Flashtools, or if you have a custom recovery you need flash a ROM in .zip file.

windows does not detects my phone as a device and i can't flash the rom. How????? i did according to the video
1.Open SP tool

you have installed adb drivers?
Use SP flash tool to flash back the STOCK ROM .... You can get stock ROM , SP flash tool & drivers there... But it requires a PC.
Itz an easy method if u do it with patience.

Uninstall drivers from pc and reinstall them correctly, then flash it again.

U need to flash whole stock rom either Jelly bean or kitkat as u like.
Xolo Q3000 KK S007 27-05-2014.zip
q3000 stock jb 4.2 s011.7z
download one of above as per ur chioce.
extract it in folder.
download sp flash tools.
Extract it in a folder.
Start sptools.exe
choose scatter loading.
select scatter file from above downloaded firmware folder.
select firmware upgrade.
press download
connect ur mobile in switch off condition.
wait till green circle appears.
Start u mobile.
U need drivers installed before the procedure.

My phone was dead after I formatted with option of "format all + download " in sp tool:crying:
was using "PXZ2-4.3.5-q3000 working" and tried to flash "Xolo Q3000 KK S007 27-05-2014" but i think the process was not successful :crying: and now my phone behave like hard brick but it still recognize by pc without battery but usb port disappear frequently ..

Just flash the "Xolo Q3000 KK S007 27-05-2014" firmware as normal, everything will be fine.
Just select firmware upgrade option.
These files are all base files including preloader and scatter ok.
Ur error is cause u formatted preloader , just restore preloader ur phone will boot. :good::good:
If still u cant do it, just PM me.

tired windows 8.1 32bit & 64 bit, windows 7 32bit with administrative right
In windows 7, install 32 bit drivers, download so flash tool from mtk's official site and flash stock job if ur phone u received with jb ROM else flash kk rom. Flash phone without battery, sim n memory card. Also before flashing, connect our phone with battery inserted and power on. Look whether driver is installed. Drivers to install: mobistel cynus, vcom, pdanet and adb drivers.

Well, i was using HNY 15 series ROM(rooted)... and My battery was a bit low .... and the rom had fair number of ISSUES and BUGS ... so i booted into recovery mode and tried to instal a backup to RESTORE the stock version of android, I was using before .... it failed to complete that and got bricked .....
Every tym i started the phone it got stuck in boot loop .... I tried to flash the stock rom (2 -3 times) ( which i flashed before and was using it )...
BUT NO LUCK ... it did the same bootloop thing ...I tried to enter custom recovery (after flashing philz recovery immediately after flashing the rom )...it worrked 2-3 times but after then, no luck , i wasn't able to boot into recovery also ...
SO I got fed-up and made A "WHOLE FORMAT FLASH" (using sp flash tools) ....
After that my device was detected as UNKNOWN DEVICE ... then i searched the forums and was able to install drivers FOR WINDOWS 8......
and i was able to flash again .... later i tried the rom " XOLO Q3000 KK S007 27-05-2014" and stock rom from some website (the one which i was using before)
and one more "XOLO Q3000 S003 15102013" both the first and last roms were given by (xda xolo q3000 member .... i dont remember his name .. but i guess you know him)
1 out of 5 times i am able to get into recovery mode (after flashing custom recovery ) ..... once in CR mode I tried to format INTERNAL SD and it showed " "ERROR : unable to format internal storage "
AND i did a memory test also and everything was good except ERROR: NAND FLASH NOT FOUND .....

Hi... Did you get far with this? I also need the recovery AND the latest firmware, I wont even mind the 4.4.2 firmware anyway as I cant get into Settings at all... it crashes immediately

Yes i have found a Firmware and and a way to flash it i load it up for you, and give you the flash instructions.

Thank you for this, I have flashed it now and it seem all fine... I used the TWRP you mentioned and indeed once you say reboot system it just goes off and until I remove battery before it comes on again.
I also removed my IMEI so I need to restore that too... but tool I found were windows tool while I use linux.

You can make dual boot on your Computer, and then you can use the tool.

Sorry... now I got a windows computer but the rom is modded so it wont allow anything work... no engineering mode works... the code doesnt and not even mobileuncle tools work

Its just not working... I have beendoing this all day... using Sp flash tool... I am now fed up.
My initial issue is that I chose option for 'Format all+Download' and it flashed well but I lost my IMEI... this should not be a problem I can re-write it using engineering mode Mobileuncle tools and other tools but they do not work on this rom... I think its because this is a moded rom so its not working, not even the engineering mode codes, I tried with fastboot, adb from computer... yes I can see my device but nothing else works.
Ok, let me just flash it all over with sp tool...all I get is the red bar, I dont get the Yellow one at all and even when i wait 5 minutes... nothing. I will keep trying then

Can you reflash the rom and try it with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.themonsterit.EngineerStarter&hl=en if this not going type it here or make a new Thread and ask how to recover your imei.

You can try to Format only the whole Phone like bootloader and then Format and Download again.

Did you can try it with windows? Or try only Download and manually format it with the tab format.
