Hello! I now move on to new cyanogen roms but since the firmware is updated new baseband is "di 3.0".
I have a oneplus one which its IMEI changed by changing 00550 NV ITEM. Since oneplus one has its own security policy about changing IMEI my 2G not working yet I can able to run 3G in 2.0 modems ( Kitkat Modems ) (My country doesn't have 4G btw).
Since I installed a new rom with a new firmware my reception run into connection loop which is connecting and instantly drop the connection says no sim card. Since its in a loop it tries to connect over and over and drops.
I can easly save this by flashing any kitkat modem, connection become stable but it breaks gyro sensors and the sensor fixes in xda won't help the issue..
Is there any way to disable natively disable 2G on DI3.0 basebands ? or is it checking the NV item and breaks the connection ? if it is, is there a way to disable that also ? I Can't use any roms because of this baseband and sensor issue.
Note : I also tried to write its own IMEI again but it is still looping and no 2G in 2.0basebands.
A few days ago the sim card 1 began to get strange behavior and I have not changed anything on the device and even crashed or something. The device detects the sim card inserted, connects to the network and to the Internet but does not make calls (MSG: Call ended)!
Inverted the sims and the problem persists. When I put the sim card in slot 2 it works normally.
I called the operator and has no problem in the network of the region.
It will be a problem on the device?
Attempts made: hard reset, reinstall the rom, rom exchange ..

dude, have u tried 5.1.1 based rom? I have xt1033. this problem I've faced on every MM based rom (yah I've tried all rom). I've wrote on several post, no one answered me.
problem is weak network signal, call drop, signal lost frquently, non stable connection.
only working MM rom on dual sim model xt1033 I found just "Aosp/caf by flashhhh".

so I'm the only one who found weak signal in dual sim phone on MM build.
My Moto G XT1039 (Peregrine) was running perfectly on CM 12.1 since July 2015. But two weeks ago it lost network access. This happened without any update or change on the phone. I tried the basic settings : reboot, toggle airplane mode, re-insert sim card... without any success.
Then I followed this thread to take it back to stock : still no network. After that I installed CM13 with this thread : network is back !
But after two days it lost network again. This time I swapped my sim card with another one : ok, problem solved.
For a few days only ! I then fastboot flashed this radio firmware : great, network is back !
And gone again... And now after flashing stock again, CM13 again, radio firmware again, it doesn't connect at all. Except from that everything works, including bluetooth, wifi and gps. The sim card is new and working in other phones. The exact error is : "Error while searching for networks" when I go to Settings | Mobile networks | Network operators.
I'm completely lost and I can't figure what is the root cause of all this. What do you suggest ? Is there a low level log file somewhere on the phone, in which I could find an error like "unable to start radio because XXX" ?
Thanks !
I installed CM13 once again using TWRP. And it's been running fine for the last 3 weeks ! I will never understand what the problem was...
It only loose network for a few seconds from time to time, but this may be normal.
The same problem occured again.
But now I'm sure it's related to the phone and hundreds of people have the same problem. There is a 96 pages topic on official motorola / lenovo support forum about it.
I can't link it here but it's the first result if you type "Post KitKat upgrade BUGs (Loss of signal etc)" in google.
I've tried multiple Android 11-based custom ROMs for Redmi 4X (santoni), i.e., Bliss, HavocOS and crDroid, and all of them cannot connect the phone to 2G (GSM) and 3G (WCDMA) networks even though I've confirmed that these networks are available in my area. However, 4G (LTE) works fine and connects almost instantly. When I've tried an Android 10-based ROM (ReloadedOS), I was actually able to access the 2G and 3G networks. So, is this a problem inherent to Android 11-based ROMs? And how can this issue be fixed? Thanks for all your help!
A phone's networking capabilities are preset by vendor ( read: Android's OEM part ) not by phone's Android itself.

Does this refer to the device firmware from the manufacturer? If so, I've tried flashing different available firmwares for santoni, but every time the problem still persists.
I've tried flashing the Android 10-based crDroid ver. 6 ROM and now my mobile telephony service is working as I've wanted. So, I really think there is something wrong within Android 11 that prevents access to 2G network which is easily done in Android 10-based ROMs.
