Hello! I now move on to new cyanogen roms but since the firmware is updated new baseband is "di 3.0".
I have a oneplus one which its IMEI changed by changing 00550 NV ITEM. Since oneplus one has its own security policy about changing IMEI my 2G not working yet I can able to run 3G in 2.0 modems ( Kitkat Modems ) (My country doesn't have 4G btw).
Since I installed a new rom with a new firmware my reception run into connection loop which is connecting and instantly drop the connection says no sim card. Since its in a loop it tries to connect over and over and drops.
I can easly save this by flashing any kitkat modem, connection become stable but it breaks gyro sensors and the sensor fixes in xda won't help the issue..
Is there any way to disable natively disable 2G on DI3.0 basebands ? or is it checking the NV item and breaks the connection ? if it is, is there a way to disable that also ? I Can't use any roms because of this baseband and sensor issue.
Note : I also tried to write its own IMEI again but it is still looping and no 2G in 2.0basebands.
Hi,
I’m from Portugal and I’ve bought a Mi5 some days ago.
I have a problem for which I don’t find any solution.
The phone came with a modified fake ROM from the Chinese store but was working fine.
I unlocked the phone and installed TWRP to flash other ROMs. I flashed MIUI 8 global stable and a custom ROM from Xiaomi.eu without any problem.
Everything was working fine with the phone but I noticed that a lot of files from prior fake ROM (the one from the Chinese store) remained in the phone. So I decided to swipe everything in TWRP (including system and internal storage) and flashed MIUI Global Stable ROM again.
From this point, I never again been able to connect to a WiFi network and the 2G, 3G LTE connection became very weak and instable. The phone scan the wifi network available without problem, but after introducing the password, it tries to connect and just shows “Saved”.
I tried a lot of stuff. Static IP, reboot router, change router channel, change router security settings, flash different ROM, tweak build.prop file, but the problem persist.
In the phone test menu, when I try to connect to a WiFi I see that the phone scan, connect, disconnect, scan, connect, disconnect…
Any help?
Do you think it’s Hardware related issue? Or phone firmware and driver problem?
I’ll be very grateful for any assistance.

Hi there!
I've cooked up this VoLTE patch based on the Xiaomi Redmi 2 universal VoLTE patch for N ROMs, and binaries from a similar patch for some Motorola phone whose model number escapes me at the moment. The Xiaomi patch used 64-bit binaries, but 32-bit ones are needed for a 32-bit patch. I plan on trying to make this a universal 32/64 patch if it works out well.
While I've done a little testing (it doesn't seem to break anything when flashed atop AICP 12.1 (7.1) or Resurrection Remix 5.8.0 (7.1.1), although my device is a tablet and of course a VoLTE patch won't actually work there.
You will need, of course, VoLTE-capable basebands flashed to your device. This means you would have to have had working VoLTE on stock or some other previous custom ROM before flashing a Nougat custom ROM.
As far as I know, you can't add VoLTE to a device that never had it in the first place.
Flash the ZIP in recovery, wipe dalvik-cache, and reboot. If I cooked this up right, you should now have working VoLTE on your VoLTE-capable device.
Can i flash it on marshmallow ?
patch feedback
Hello,
I've applied the patch on my s7 g930f, running crdroid 3.8.4. It applied without any errors.
When I rebooted and did a *#*#4636#*#* to bring up the diagnostic information volte provisioning showed as on, as did video provisioning, WiFi calling was off. I had to add this line from my old build.prop:
persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1
another reboot and wifi calling reported as on.
The problem is still under the diagnostic screen I pulled up the ims registration and it said ims registration unavailable, volte, wifi calling, uma all unavailable.
Can I provide more information to debug this? I'd definitely like to get HdVoice, WiFi Calling, VooLTE, and video calling, plus rcs and ims all going on an aosp-rom like crDroid.
Thanks.
Dave.
It took a few days, like many other colleagues in the telegram group https://t.me/lgg7thinqmain in English and https://t.me/lg_g7esp in Spanish. Many of us tried to run android 11 on our LG G7 710ULM, but we always lost the 4G + / LTE + signal. So after several attempts we found a way to run android 11 based roms without losing the 4G + / LTE + signal.
It will not be necessary to wait for Verizon to release android 10 to be able to run custom roms based on android 11, at least, without being able to lose the 4G + / LTE + signal.
Note: This method have been tested only on LG G7 ULM or PM converted to ULM. IF YOU TRY TO EXECUTE THESE METHODS ON OTHER AMERICAN MODELS, IT WILL BE AT YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY, ALTHOUGH IT MAY WORK.
I'm not a developer or anything like that. I only share one method to be able to maintain the 4G + / LTE + signal after flashing a custom rom based on Android 11. Any unforeseen event, WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
After so much testing, it has been concluded that the loss of the 4G + / LTE + signal is due to the type of Gapps we use. So in this case, the ones that were perfect to maintain the signal 4G+/ LTE+ were the NikGAPPS
Before starting the process, you should be clear about the following:
1 - You must have the BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED: -------> https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-guide-to-unlock-bootloader-for-every-g7-thinq-except-g710tm-with-photos.4168771/
2 - You must be running ANDROID 10 if you want to have a custom ROM based on ANDROID 11.
3- You must write down, copy or take screenshots of your APN CONFIGURATION that you have in STOCK ANDROID 10.
4 - The ROM to be installed must not include Gapps or previously installed Google services.
Necessary files (In case you do not have them or you are not in the LG G7 development group):
Android 11 based ROM lists:
1 - DotOS ---> DIRECT DOWNLOAD
2 - Paranoid Android 11 ---> DIRECT DOWNLOAD
3 - Fluid 1.2 ---> DIRECT DOWNLOAD
4 - Nusantara 2.5 --->DIRECT DOWNLOAD
OrangeFox.img Boot_a and Boot_B -------------> DIRECTO DOWNLOAD
OrangeFox Recovery Zip V1.2 ------------- > DIRECT DOWNLOAD
NikGAPPS: --------------------> DIRECT DOWNLOAD
Method number 1:
1 -First load the OrangeFox.img by QFIL, you should mount it in Boot_a and Boot_b.
2 -Enter into recovery mode using the key combination. Once inside OrangeFox, flash the ANDROID 11 BASED ROM YOU WANT TO INSTALL. (That's right, without doing the WIPES) (Flash the rom.zip in dirty)
3 -Now flash the OrangeFox-R11.0_1.2-Stable-judyln .. After it is flashed, it will reboot automatically.
4 - If you want to have Magisk continue with this step, otherwise you can skip it and go to the next step.
4 -Since I started the OrangeFox.zip that you flashed earlier, now it flashes the NikGAPPS and Magisk. (In this first point we will flash the NikGapps so that Magisk is not deleted when starting the ROM)
5- Now REBOOT SYSTEM and wait for the rom to start. As you can see, you do not have the NikGapps, only Magisk remained (In case you do have Magisk and the NikGAPPS "CONGRATULATIONS") * We continue ...
6 - Start the rom and you do not have the 4G + / LTE + signal. Now we are going to configuration of Mobile Networks and we are going to CONFIGURE THE APN, just placing the configuration that we had in the STOCK ROM or any other where you had the 4G + / LTE + signal
7- Once the APN is configured, reboot in recovery mode.
8 - Now flash the rom you installed again, on top of the one you already had.
9 - Now flash the OrangeFox-R11.0_1.2-Stable-judyln one more time.
10 - Finally flash the NikGapps and REBOOT SYSTEMA And Congratulations! With this you will not lose the 4G + / LTE + signal.
11 - In case step number 2 does not work for you, you can perform the Wipes, as follows: Wipe System ----> Wipe Cache ---> Wipe Data. ( NOW flash the rom from 0 and continue with the other steps.
12 - If in step 3 you stuck in the logo after flashing the recovery, do it again in step number 1.
Evolution x already have pre installed gapps. So, does it mean that it is okay to flash nikgapps on top of the pre installed gapps?

You could just try it, along with the rom, to replace the applications that already come in Evolution. I have edited the thread and removed Evo from the list, I had forgotten that it has Gapps included, thank you very much for the clarification.

how we can install on verizon model because if i install android 10 of any other model it's lose the signal.
What does ULM have to do with Verizon? Pertaining to the original post? ULM is the Unlocked model, not tied to any carrier. LTE will work as long as you Crossflash to AWM use the correct APN settings and make sure All of your phone radio information is correct under dialer *#*#4636#*#*, because AWM is also unlocked firmware, just made for a different region...kind of like how BrightPoint, Google Fi, USA firmware is all ULM just with minor differences which are as simple as certain apps included in all of the firmware, which are enabled based on which SIM card is inserted. When you mentioned not having to wait for Verizon to release Android 10 was that just a typo? I think that's what this confusing me. Did you mean to say "Wait for LG" ?
Also, if you are on ULM20E update to ULM20F before crossflashing to AMW, and cross flash to AMW30d, rather than B
.
Hi I'm running a ULM device under the 30d AWM firmware. My problem is that i can't turn Wifi or Hotspot on.
Do you think the this Gapps can fix it too?!
Edit: Doesn't work!

I mean that many people who have the version of VERIZON said that they had to wait for it to launch android 10, to be able to run custom roms based on android 11 or simply be updated, that's why the tutorial, because VERIZON users can make a cross flash to ULM, do the process indicated before and thus not lose the LTE +, because the roms based on android 11, for the AMERICAN models, lose the LTE +

Hello,
I'm on the kb2005 and i don't have any options for wifi calling, volte or LTE.
I'm on OOS 13.1 in Canada.
Before i upgrade my phone, what options do i have? What am I doing wrong?
I have the same issue on my KB2003 since 13.1. No wi-fi or incoming/outgoing calls on either SIM. Had to put my SIMs in other phones before factory resetting which accomplished nothing.
I need to downgrade to 13.0 or try a different variety of 13.1. It does not appear, based on posts, to be a widely experienced problem.
If you have found a solution, please share.
You might want to try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...12-c-33-build-need-root.4478889/post-87271815

When you insert sim-card smartphone (in this example 8T) checks what carrier it belongs to and activates looks in the inbuilt profile base and activates the appropriate one for your carrier.
If the phone doesn't find the one for your carrier it activates the generic one, which may work only partially for your carrier or don't work at all if settings mismatch.
That worked generally good in OOS11/12/13, but OnePlus changed smth in OOS13.1 which makes magisk VoLTE enabler modules only partially (but still) effective, and also specified by you problems occur.
You can try to activate engineering mode (easier via magisk module) and change carrier profile manually from within phone.
It can be also done via PDC software in Windows.
If you don't want or can't do the above mentioned you can try different carrier sim cards or apply for support (carrier or oneplus).

Thanks for the suggestions. I have time this afternoon to try things.
I had no idea my perfectly configured and operating phone running T_Mo and Verizon SIMs would get crapped by a seemingly minor update. I would have waited for Android 14 if I had.
Wondering why I can't even get Wifi working. I may MSM back to 11 and try to get back on13.0 and STOP!
I don't want to keep using my Pixel 6 Pro because it's size & weight are enough to make me miss my 8T.
I have Oneplus Engineer mode unlock & VoEnabler modules active in Magisk. No icon indicating VoLTE active when both SIMs indicated VoLTE prior to 13.1 . I have QPST installed but after poking around I think I need to throw in the towel on 13.1 and somehow fastboot flash to downgrade or MSM to A11 and upgrade. How do I stop before 13.1 since I will likely only be offered a jump to 13.1?
Can I boot OrangeFox or TWRP and flash an older than current version since my bootloader is unlocked? I have the payload for OOS 13 F.63.
