My PDA screen freezes

Can somebody please help me
My PDA vario 2 the touch screen have frozen and i can not use it
None of the bottons are working and at the moment it is lock and strugling to unlock.
Please help i have vital information on it

I don't know much, but I do know that the sweet people on this forum would very much like to know a lot more details about your device before they will be able to tell you much.
Obviously you must have performed a soft reset.

Hi Everyone,
I have T Mobile MDA Vario II and my problem is the screen touch on which i use my stylus stick to tap on is not working. When i tap anything on the screen non of the functions are working which means i can not use the phone to make call or get any information from it.
I will be happy if anybody can help me to solve it and i have tried things like resetting and trying to calibrate again.

I have a HTC TyTN which i *think* is the same device. Basically its rubbish when it sleeps on its own. Don't let it turn its self off. Do it yourself. Kills 99% of all known "comas" (which is what its known as) and only requires a touch of the off button

SOrry, just to add:
have you tried the soft reset underneath by the slider switch where you sink it with usb? Stick a pen or pencil in and hold for a second. If all goes well you won't loose any info and it will restart. Then you can go into system and turn off autosleep.

keyboard is not always working??

not all the keys on my htc s710's keyboard are working all the time. for instance the dot, the letter b and letter k do not always work. strangely enough, sometimes all the keys work for a while, and then for no apparent reason the same keys do not work anymore (always the same keys) i tried several roms, with all the problem exist. when i do a cold restart, and try the keys most of the times the will work for a while, but after a while they stop working. same if the power drops (battery drops below a certain percentage), the problem is more persistent and the keys fail more often than with a fully charged battery. i already checked the connection cable on the mainboard, that appears to be seated fine.
any idea's and suggestion (no warranty off course, since i opened it up myself)

Cap/Sft and fn isnt working in text message mode.
they work in home screen though..

anyway... if u think u are good with hardware and breaking things apart an take them back together... u can try the htc vox service manual...
i dont recommend anything...

oh.... opening the phone works in the case some buttons dont work anywhere... otherwise its software.. maybe hard reset, reflashing?

Its definately not hardware.
Because when I Updated from orginall Vodafone Rom to WM 6.1 the keyboard started to decline.
So does someone has a solution for this?
I dont have much knowledge of this, but managed to update my HTC S710 to WM 6.1.

but i couldnt find a way to fix it jet...
right now i have a way more annoying problem.
so sometimes i push the power button, put it in my pocket or wherever and then when i want to turn it on again it wouldnt work...the leds are still on but the screen is black...
so i have to take out the battery and restart it...and its really annoying...has somebody an idea how to fix that problem???

NOW MY PROBLEM...
I recently installed TEAM ACID'S icbinb 2.3.7_v2 UPDATED 2/25/12
It's an Amazing piece of work.
However, I have one little hiccup.. when I'm making a call or receiving one..my screen unexplainedly blacks out.. I can still hear and talk.. but I lose all functionality of the touchscreen.. I can't terminate thecall.. or use ANY of the buttons on the phone.. until the caller or call is terminated from the OTHER end.. then my screen comes back.
ANY and ALL help or advice in trying to resolve this matter will be greatly APPRECIATED!

Your screen has a sensor when to turn off when next to your ear so your face doesn't use the touchscreen for you. Have you tried pushing the power button as you would to unlock your phone?

The problem isnt so much the sensor.. it happens regardless of if I put the fone to my ear.. ie.. if i have it on speakerphone.. the screen will still black out..
It seems the only way out is to hard press the power button to reboot.. or wait until the call ends.. for the screen to come back..

It sounds like the proximity sensor is fouling up. My old phone had this problem until people started to edit the build prop and change the value.

You need to flash to stock and get phone replaced somehow. Roms aren't usually going to help.
Or;;; You can flash to stock and see if it fixes the problem.

My mmx canvas magnus (white)
Bottom keys are not functioning.Even though the touch is working properly,I cannot go back since those keys are not working.
Even the touch is not crack or broken

Mine problem was fixed
Even my white magnus soft button stopped working.....
i thought it happened due to the screeen guard but when i took it out then also the problem kept on...
but i dont know how it was fixed as next day when i woke up ,my soft buttons were working just fine......
i dont know the solution for it but u can just try navigation bar(nexus like soft buttons)..
navigation bar will help u to use ur phone just fine....
as magnus has 5` screen size so navigation will not take too much space......
i prefer u to use gravity box ...if ur phone is rooted..
or else u can download any navigation bar app from play store........................
