Hi All,
I purchased a "WIFI" XOOM online, and when I received it, it was running 4.0.4, and said the version was XOOM, but it has a SIM card slot (with the pins in it) and has a 3G logo on the back. upon installing the XOOM 4.1.1 Rooted img (via CWM), I ran cat proc/cmdline and it says androidboot.modelno=MZ600. also When hitting the vol up and down, and power button I get "Powering in BP, Lte modem is Off"
so, what freak of nature do I have?

It works like a dream
Soft brick. You messed up something, the buzzes are rapid force closings of apps that load on startup. Why did you flash the AT$T version of Froyo when Rogers already has their own?
Hi all,
My friend was using the Galaxy S Infuse 4G. She ended the call and locked the device as usual but after that it never turned on. If I connect it to USB it says device not recognized. If I hold the power button it seems to get shut off because PC stops detecting it anymore. So it seems there's no issue with power. I can't enter any mode, download or bootloader whatever. Just couple of days prior to this I'd formatted it from the stock recovery. I think bootloader is damaged or something like that. Any help in this regard would be very much appreciated.
Regards
Hi, everybody.
I have a big trouble with my moto g.
one time titles "android upgrading..." and then "optimizing app 1 of 1" appeared. and my device came to a cyclical reboot.
I've decide to install a custom firmware. but as soon as I've unlock the bootloader, my problem has gone. I installed a stock firmware and calmed down.
for 2 days.
soon the titles appeared again.
I came to blue monitor and swiped cash, then reboot. since my device turned off and never on.
when I connect a power cable there is 1 LED blink on 9th second when I hold a power or power+vol.down button. and then nothing. so I can't charge it, connect to computer and so on.
please, help me to reanimate the device.
may be is there a reason to give to a service?
GB firmware 4.3, 16gb

Same problem here..but after droping the phone into the toilet...

To solve it I charge the phone with my Samsung galaxy s USB charger in 10 min starts to charge.

I'm having a very weird issue with my SIII.
I recently got an LG G3 and transferred my the SIM from my GS3 to that new phone (in order to keep unlimited data). The S3 should still start without a SIM, however, I am getting no response. When I plug in the phone, the charging light comes on briefly then goes out (sometimes it stays on). I can not power it on, boot into recovery or download mode. I have tried multiple batteries. I have left the phone unplugged. I have charged both batteries with external chargers. Is the phone dead? Did my power button crap out? Was the timing with my new phone activation just a coincidence? Or is something else going on here?
I would rather not put my old SIM card back in to troubleshoot for fear of doing anything to lose my unlimited data after a shady upgrade transfer to my new phone outside of Verizon's rules.
Any ideas on what could possibly be going on would be helpful.
This is about a Galaxy S3 I747M Rogers Canada.
Never tried to root, unlock or install any custom ROM. Worked very well.
One day I just noticed is turned off and never start anymore. Additional symptoms:
Is not booting, not switching to recovery or download mode, no any sign of life.
The battery is tested and is charged. When plugged to charger without battery installed the LED goes red (or orange). If battery installed at this time LED goes off in short time.
No any activity if Vol +, Home, Power ON buttons are pressed at the same time.
If connected to a Windows 7 PC, device manager is identifying the phone as QHSUSB_DLOAD device.
Questions:
Are all of these signs the phone motherboard is defective? Is there a way to diagnose a hardware failure, broken motherboard?
Is there a way to boot from a micro SD card and reload whatever is broken: bootloader, ROM, firmware?

Any advice or solution is welcome! Thank you!
