[Q] Rogers Infuse 4G Dead - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hi all,
My friend was using the Galaxy S Infuse 4G. She ended the call and locked the device as usual but after that it never turned on. If I connect it to USB it says device not recognized. If I hold the power button it seems to get shut off because PC stops detecting it anymore. So it seems there's no issue with power. I can't enter any mode, download or bootloader whatever. Just couple of days prior to this I'd formatted it from the stock recovery. I think bootloader is damaged or something like that. Any help in this regard would be very much appreciated.

It works like a dream
Soft brick. You messed up something, the buzzes are rapid force closings of apps that load on startup. Why did you flash the AT$T version of Froyo when Rogers already has their own?

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SGH-T989

I'm a new member so please dont take it out on me for posting in the general discussion board. I was trying to upgrade my Gingerbread firmware into the new ICS firmware. I downloaded Samsung Kies and the phone couldnt connect for 10+ minutes. It finally connected and started upgrading, in the middle of it all, I lost connection and it said to turn off my phone and re connect the usb. I did that and the phone was stuck on "firmware has encountered an issue". After googling for hours I finally found a thread on here stating Odin could flash/boot the phone into the old condition. I proceeded to do that and then the connection stopped in the middle of that. My phone went blank and will not turn on. I bought a USB jig and had it shipped overnight for $30+ from Amazon and it doesnt work. Is there any other option I have other than slamming the phone into the ground or going to tmobile to purchase another pricey phone? I appreciate any feedback I am beginning to hit depression stage now hahaha.
Can't be that depressed with all those hahaha's
use Odin to flash the standard Samsung ROM which you'll need to download, put the phone into download mode
(hold power + home + vol DOWN)
It also sounds like you have a crappy USB connection. Either get another cable or don't move the phone when its doing these important changes.
Then you'll need to root it again (or leave it stock if you wish) you could then download and flash a rooted ROM

the hahaha's are a coverup. The phone will not go into recovery/download mode for anything. Ive tried holding the home+vol up/down+power and nothing happens. Im not able to do ANYTHING. It stays off and thats it. I ordered a new micro usb connection but im afraid that its too late for the phone. If I could get it to turn on I would know where to go from there with rooting but it wont even turn on.

Note 3 Bricked?

I have an AT&T Note 3 SM-N900A. I Installed X-Note Rom on it a while ago, but I recently have been having problems charging the phone and was going to take it to an AT&T Device Support Center to fix it. I tried to install the stock firmware N900AUCBMI9 using Mobile Odin, only to see the a boot up screen that says "System Software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone . Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest AT&T store for help." I tried to get the phone to connect to Odin on my Windows PC, but the computer will only say USB Device not recognized, and it won't show up in Odin at all. The weird thing is that it says USB device not recognized even while the Note 3 is off. The phone also stays on while in Download Mode when connected to USB with no battery.
I was wondering if there's anything I can do to at least ensure that the people at AT&T can't power up the phone and see this message. I should have just left it on the custom rom, this looks way worse. I'd rather have a hard brick at this point, at least they wouldn't be able to see it was rooted and flashed. I really screwed this up, if I knew I'd be having issues I would have never rooted it. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks for your time.

[Q] Galaxy S3 I747M Rogers Kitkat 4.4.2, Canada hard bricked.

This is about a Galaxy S3 I747M Rogers Canada.
Never tried to root, unlock or install any custom ROM. Worked very well.
One day I just noticed is turned off and never start anymore. Additional symptoms:
Is not booting, not switching to recovery or download mode, no any sign of life.
The battery is tested and is charged. When plugged to charger without battery installed the LED goes red (or orange). If battery installed at this time LED goes off in short time.
No any activity if Vol +, Home, Power ON buttons are pressed at the same time.
If connected to a Windows 7 PC, device manager is identifying the phone as QHSUSB_DLOAD device.
Questions:
Are all of these signs the phone motherboard is defective? Is there a way to diagnose a hardware failure, broken motherboard?
Is there a way to boot from a micro SD card and reload whatever is broken: bootloader, ROM, firmware?
I'm not an Android software or hardware specialist, I'm a controls specialist and have some skills in electronics.
Any advice or solution is welcome! Thank you!

Need help un-bricking my G4

So I'm sort of a noob to rooting......always had phones that you could just use towelroot on and it worked fine. But I recently got a Verizon lg g4 and tried to use the low effort root method, did everything exactly as it said but somehow or another I messed it up and now I have a paperweight. The phone will not turn on, charge, or show any sort of life whatsoever, so I cannot get it into download mode. (otherwise I wouldnt need help lol)
The only thing it will do is when you plug it into a pc the computer will recognize it as a "unrecognized usb device", and if you hold the power button on the phone for a long enough time the computer will say it was disconnected and then reconnected. (phone still does nothing) If you guys can help at all or give me any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated
EDIT: I have the stock firmware/software for the phone downloaded on my computer so what I really need is just a way to get it onto the phone
And Im not opposed to tearing the phone apart if need be
Anybody
Did I post this in the wrong section?
