Which one do u prefer and why ???
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using Tapatalk
Sense 4.0. It's visually the best. Everything else is smoother, but I can't stand choppy scrolling in CM9 and everything else is lacking the visual flair. I can understand why people would want the smoothness of non sense ROMs though, sense is choppy.

Sense is good because it looks great, a good amount of tweaks, and functions right out of the box. However it's very heavy on ram and processor speed which drains the most battery between the three. I really dislike CM9 because my experiences have proven to be buggy (could just be me) but it does gives you the pure android experience as it was intended to be and good battery life. I prefer MIUI the most because it's themes, which lets you add a personal touch, great battery life, and light weight (less stress on ram and processor) although MIUI can have some bugs too.
Sense for HTC looks. And miui for customization.

SENSE is heavy on ROM/Resources.
CM9 is *still* buggy.
Honestly I'v not tried MIUI. so cant say abt tht.
My suggestion for u to go for AOKP ROM. Its FAST-SMOOTH-STABLE.
It provides a LOT of customization.
...n If u r a Sense UI lover (Like I am), then AOKP ROMs hv options for themes as well. U can simply download n apply the SENSE 4.0 aokp theme, for sense ui, skin, icon pack, font etc.
Here is the Homescreen of mine running AOKP with SENSE 4.0 Theme.

I prefer cm9 its light fast good battery and looks good..
Swyped From My Sensation.
My personal fav is AOKP. Its like CM9 with more functions, fast and smooth, and there are tons of themes out there for customizing
(dont mind the sig, havent updated it in a while)
CM9 for me personally, I don't see why people say its buggy, It the smoothest rom for me, no glitches and excellent battery life
Sense 4 drains too much battery from my experience
Sense for me. I love the look and functionality. It's just really smooth.

sometime in december
Looks good is this proper ics or still like galnet version.

proper ics. Not just framework.
cool been using galnet which is ok but hard to tell any difference will be waiting eagerly for this one.

this looks quite cool!!
Looks nice, can't really tell its ICS though..

yeah, since most changes in ICS are visual, they'll get buried under the miui skin. The same will happen with Sense, although i expect Sense 4.0 (or whatever) to bring some differences from 3.5. This is the same as Miui Gingerbread, except under the hood improvements. I'll wait for CM9

Humm...preference is the killer here .. many will prefer miui or sense over the aosp vanilla look. In the end everyone is excited by how it looks. But I wonder how will they top the already so tasty look of ICS

+1 I agree there.
I think I will settle for CM9, and enjoy ICS. Then later down the line, when I've used ICS, i can flash back to Sense/MIUI ROMs.

I loving the new look of the music application
Also this looks better than ICS in my own opinion to be honest
Got to be honest I agree with you. I preferred miui over aosp gingerbread and sense roms and although ics looks good and the likes of superkid and Co have done a great job porting it so quick, I'll still be sticking with miui. I really don't like the app drawer, it annoys me. Just hope you can still customize the new miui v4 like you can now.

What is your preffered Sense 3.5 rom on Sensation today?
Is it the fastest one? The more stable one? the more ...?
I am using Senseay and though it's very stable I wonder if there is any rom faster and funnier out there.
LeeDroid's is the best one
InserCoin is the best ,then Elegancia
I'm currently using Sens-O-Matic (or so) and i like it. At the first day i had some random reboots but not anymore (just didnt accur anymore).
The good thing about it is, that you can choose which bloatware (HTC Hub, HTC Notes, HTC whatever) you want and what you don't want.
There is a thread with a poll, where you can see what people think. I think it is in forum general!
I agree with the poll, that is ARHD (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098849) is the best;-)
Why fast smooth and so on.
Elegencia is faster than Senseay? I mean in scrolling,drawer...
I which we can have the sgs2 speed with a sense 3.5 rom
The only 3.5 roms that ever ran up to snuff for me was Energy, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226564, and LeeDroid was probably just as good. I'm not sure how it is now, but when 3.5 roms first starting being uploaded, they ran really bad on my phone. They're good now though, but I prefer AOSP.

that maybe the best rom for sensation (i never used it), but you will have sense 3.0 and not 3.5 with it.
I prefer sense-o-maniac because of "bloatware free" and many good features. Battery life, too

+1 Sense-O-Maniac is a very cool fast 3.5 rom!
I've really liked InsertCoin's stuff, especially 3.4.5 (the current one). It might be my imagination, but some of the releases are hit-and-miss, but 3.4.5 is absolutely a hit.
Smooth as silk, great battery life, no random reboots or force closures. Love it.
I also liked ARHD, but I had random reboots and boot loops that drove me insane. May have been the specific release I used though, who knows.
Sensay, insert coin, sense-o-maniac and digitalized are my favorites all are fast smooth and don't have bugs that I found just look at there features and pick

Actually it is 3.5, depends which flavor you going to flash of the ROM.
Either 3.x.x = sense 3.0 or 4.x.x = sense 3.5

I get best battery life and I don't have complications trying to take quick pictures here and there.. I only have one negative to add and its that incoming pictures are small when I try to open them up quality is bad.

Senseay is great and stable but battery life is terrible, playing games more than 10 mins will eat 20%!
What about the new ''a la mode'' Elegencia rom?
I think I will choose between ARHD and Elegencia (for the themes).
Later when ICS port will be fully functional (Trip one) I will try it
I'm new to the sensation and I was going to post this same general question. I know many have their own favorite and it's an individual choice but I'd really like help narrowing things down. I came from the G2 and it seems like a LOT of these sensation roms are very close to each other, I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out the differences between them. I think it'd be helpful if more of you described WHY you like the one you like.
Synergy r93. Hands down nicest 3.5 ROM I have used.
Thanks *damo*

Love is a strong a word so I don't really love it but, I really really reaaaally like Sense 4.0
The transitions are smooth, looks and feels way more polished compared to Sense 3.0, 3.5 and 3.6 and best of all is stable!
I will be honest, I was hesitant to install it since I was not liking the screenshots but after flashing it, I can safely say is best.
I thought I would share my experience with Sense 4.0 with you guys
I am running OrDroid 1.7.2

Not to come across as flaming, but this is a pointless thread as there are YouTube videos of the Sense 4.0 ROMs on the Sensation and screen shots are no different to the actual One S running on they're not needed
Yes mate, I have similiar feelings about the Sense 4.0 roms. 1080p high bitrate playback is smooth, on official 3.32.401.5 it lags like hell. Need to wait for bluetooth and Sense 4.0 will the best experience on my Sensation ever.

Have you tried an AOSP Rom? How do the sense 4 apps compare to the aosp apps? e.g. Messaging, Contacts, Dialer etc. are they the same as sense 3.6?
1. I am new to sensation.
2. Device gets hot when used for a while. Normal?
3. Battery life - none! Worst from any of the devices I used (and I had them all)
4. Running Quatrro ICS ROM from Virtouos.

I have an extended 1900mAh battery and it still gets hot at times.
I see your screen takes up a lot and so does mine, but I get WAY longer than 4 hours even on regular battery. Maybe try changing ROM's to see if it makes a difference. Or check out this battery.
http://www.amazon.com/Anker-1900mAh...ZJMC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333056174&sr=8-1
Try installing a different rom & kernel. Then try setcpu or something similar that let's you control CPU clock speeds. Set up custom profiles for the CPU. Whenever mines starts to get hot it underclocks to a slower speed bringing the temp back down.

in sensation wid 10%voice 10% sms 20% wifi if u get 15-20 hours ur good
all the things u asked are normal device tends to get hotter wen used
and if u wanna try good roms if u want asop i Highly recommand Virtuos Inquestion 4.0.1
if u want Sense 4.0 Beta roms updated very fast so this is currently for Flasholics Than Insertcoin Beta 14
Stable Rom 3.6 Sense than Insertcoin 5.xx
Flash Bricked Kernel and if u recently flashed a New rom eg Coming from sense to non sense than Sensation takes upto 48hours for battery to settle down n give u good time so dont get fustrated in start
Hope i Helped
i have the best battery life with insert coin sense 4 beta + bricked kernel 0.5
I'm looking for JB, performance, customization, long battery life.
Anyone have a suggesting which rom would be the best?
Currently using liquid smooth.
ParanoidAndroid
I have flashed ROMs every couple of days. While i loved each one of them, I kept looking for more. I stopped and settled with ParanoidAndroid. Its smooth, responsive, JB/CM10, amazing battery life (ofcourse it depends on the kind of usage you have). It has some minor nuances here n there, but i have been using it as my Daily Driver since i first installed it which was more than a month ago. I would highly recommend you give it a shot. You will love the phablet mode and the options to set the density for various applications.
I would def have to say Liquidsmooth RC5 with thr ktoonz kernel. The rom is incredibly fast even when undervolted and underclocked. Gets great battery life, I average about 3-4 hrs screen time with 15+ hours use. You can practically customize anything. You can change the colors of the status bar and location of the clock and customize the lock screen. You can also add on screen navigation buttons like the Galaxy Nexus. Great rom highly recommend it.

I've been enjoying Synergy r73 for a while now. Great rom.
Using Incubus,s JellyWiz rsl10 hybrid
and has the norm issues as all the jb roms have. Nothing going to change until big red gets off their a**,s!
The devs perform magic considering no leaks and having to port the roms.
I really enjoy all the tweaks. on this rom. I loaded the new note2 gallery, which is very cool eye candy when viewing your pics. This rom runs cool, the first two days ran warm then settled in after all the updates. Had a few black screens, vibrated then rebooted 3 times within the first 3 hours of loading. No more reboots since a week ago.
So this Rom gets my vote, not a huge cm10 fan. So just depends on what you like. The cm are super lite around 150mb compared to 750mb on the wiz roms. I have 96gb so not much worried about space.
Suggest trying them all,
and join us crack rom flashers
