you could just use the
[TOOL] OneClick SuperCID for Unlocking Bootloader
or try this way...if you are not familiar with command lines.
adb push mmcblk0p4MOD /sdcard/mmcblk0p4MOD this?
you know what...
type
adb push
then drag the mmcblk0p4MOD file to the terminal/command
type a "space"
then type
/sdcard/mmcblk0p4MOD

sorry, I made some thing wrong, I unlocked.
And now, I lock again and reset the cid to the generic value, HTC__622, followed to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26638060&highlight=fastboot+oem+lock#post26638060 to install 1.85
But the ruu installer still told me error 130, meant the Model ID is wrong?
Did anybody have the same problem?

Sir, I see there is an One XL with S-OFF in your signature, how would you do that?

P.S. Another thing, is that US "ATT One X" & "HK One XL" are the same?

More important question though is what led up to this problem? What exactly were you trying to do? Or did do? What are you trying to ultimately achieve? The more in depth detailed response you give back then easier will it be for someone to properly help you with your current set back.

Have you ran an RUU before? You can change your CID to its original, the relock your bootloader and run the RUU. If it fails, you can run the ICS RUU then apply the JB OTA.

I am looking for the same answer. no it doesnt say if it will brick or not. but some people have say it will with super cid. you can flash a new cid with fastboot oem . The thread really has no instructions on how to do anything. it just supplies the link for the file.
I tried to flash to ruu via the windows executable file that it came with, but i get an error everytime. 159 image error.
I am original on t-mob though. this may be the prob. im not sure.
everyone else says just have your cid HTC__001. if your s-off you can change it in fastboot.

Firstly: The RUU is meant for unbranded european devices.
superCID bricks phone when you flash OTA. Using RUU should be safe.
So you have no use for this ruu since you are tmob

ROOT Question

+1 to that. That website doesn't create anything original, either. They just steal content from XDA, and give little or no credit to the original devs or XDA.
Everything the OP needs is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671237
Use the method that specifically meantions 1.85 in bold after the link. Alternately, X-factor or the All-in-One toolkit will work on 1.85, I believe.

There is no one-click method for 2.20, only X-factor, and the All-In-One Toolkit, which should also work for 1.85 (as I already mentioned).
RUU to 2.20 will not gain you anything, and a lot of work for nothing. Will actually hurt you, as the hboot included with 2.20 prevents flashing kernels and radios from recovery (unless you S-off or downgrade hboot).

[Q] software update?

Hello,
Upon many google searches I have come to believe that this phone has updated above 4.0.4.
I have complications updating so I came here with the following questions:
Did the at&t HTC one x finally get jellybean, or is that for other models?
if yes how can I update because I see get an error on the at&t software update tool, and I don't see anything in the "about" tab for updating like in other models.
Thanks
Edit: I forgot to mention I'm stock and unrooted.

According to the bootloader text, the phone was previously bootloader unlocked, and then relocked. Its probably also SuperCID, since this is the only way to unlock the bootloader on the AT&T version. Phone is also S-on.
Be aware that installing the AT&T Jellybean RUU with SuperCID + S-on will brick the phone. Advise you either change the phone back to the AT&T CID, or achieve S-off prior to running RUU or OTA or you will brick.

Yes that's correct. But doesnt the bootloader need to be unlocked to write the cid? I'd suggest unlocking the bootloader, flashing a stockish sense Rom, achieve s-off. Then run 3.18 ruu to prep for the cm install.

Facepalm is the only method. You need to use the manual hex edit method to change to SuperCID if not on the AT&T version.

Build numbers is not the same as CID. Build number just refers to the Android version (such as 4.0.1).
You are rooted? How are you checking CID?
The proper way would be the command (as noted in the guide): fastboot oem readcid

CID is write protected on hboot 2.14? I didn't know that. I knew it was on 2.15.
He has the Arabic version so it's the 2.10 hboot, but yeah I've never heard of write protection on the 2.14 hboot.
