Just Sold My G2X

Hey guys, well when i first got the g2x i couldn't put it down, but it lost it's luster the longer i held on to it, i sold my ipod touch last year and ive missed it since, i also spent a goo $100 in the itunes store, i decided to move to the iphone and the first step was to get rid of my phone, i know the 5's coming out but i cant afford that , and im not gonna sign a contract, i got $300 out of my G2X, which i think isn't too bad, i am currently looking at craigslist and ebay for an unlocked/unlockable Iphone 4 for about $300, if anyone has one hit me up. Maybe once ice cream sandwhich hits and the fragmentation stops i might come back to android, but until then im gonna be on an iphone, i'll keep this updated with my thoughts/regrets if any, did i get a good price, let me know what you think?

Seriously, what's the purpose of these I sold, wanna sell, thinking about selling g2x threads, just do it, gtfo, be gone. Good riddance, and go frequent the I phone or sensation forum. Troll.

You got $300? What kind of condition was it in? Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about selling mine which is in almost new condition. The only way you can tell its used is by looking at the chrome strip on the battery cover under a bright light. You will then see some surface scratches but other than that, there isn't a mark on it.

It should be the same but you can try clove or handtech if you are in the UK.

well from negri it works out to be 470 gbp (including delivery)
from handtech it works out around 492 gbp (including delivery)
and clove is 500 gbp
so if the one from negri will deffo work in uk, i wud prob buy from them....

WOW!! That is kind of a large difference. Negri is usually more expensive then clove from my experience.

Hi, this is my experience with them, I bought a NAM Legend and 1 day after they wouldnt replace it the microphone quit working, I called them up and they said they would send it in for repair.. I sent it back to them, long story short, after calling them every couple of weeks for close to 6 months, they finally sent me a back a different unit, this one had scratches and other things wrong with it.. I decided it was in my best interests at that point to take what I got and be happy with it, and to never buy from them again. my 2 cents....

hmmm well taking that into consideration, imma jus buy from handtech.co.uk, at least i wont have to worry about the charger not working in uk and stuff with cell reception....

Brand New Mytouch 4g Slide for Sale!!!!

I have a brand new unopened unused Mytouch 4g slide for sale if anyone is interested. I had the original mytouch 4g and after so many warrenty replacments they told me I qualifyed for a free upgrade to a similer phone (go figure) . I don't like keybore phones so I just told em to send it to me with the hopes that I can sell it to someone and take the money and buy either a Sensation or the Amaze. If Anyone is interesed PM me or email me at [email protected]. I'd like to try n get at least 375 for it since shipping will cost, leaving me with a good amount to get another phone. I know brand new the mytouch 4g slide is around $500 so consider this a deal of a lifetime! (I'm a terrible sales man lol)

Damn! And I thought I got a deal when TMo gave me a BOGO and applied the rebate prior to shipping on the MT4GS.

How is this for a good deal. I went thru 4 warranty replacements on my G2 so they sent me a brand new MT4GS. My wife didnt even go thru 1 replacement and they sent her a brand new LG G2x to replace her Samsung Galaxy S 4G .

Yep.. So I went down to mobile today and ended up being sold on the amaze. Not a big fan of samsung build quality and apart from htc's quality control issues, they make great phones. Ive had the G2 and MT4G, and barly ever used my G2's keyboard (except when I wanted to show off the cool flip hinge). So now I definitely NEED to sell this MT4GS since droping over 5 bills on another phone! I was only planning on seeing if they could swap it out and give me credit but they said the ime on the phone was from another department and wouldnt allow a straight up swap. Damn tmobile politics!!!

Undead, how did you talk Tmo into sending you the MT4GS instead of another G2 on the 1 yr defective phone warranty?
My mom's gone through 5 HTC HD2s (because of defective), and they still haven't offered an HD7 or something of the sort at all.

Usually it needs to be 5 warranty replacements within a 90 day period. Go into a tmobile store and ask a representitive, they should be able to tell you. It HAS to be under warranty or you have to have insurence with the extended warranty service to qualify for upgrade replacement.

I would have posted in the market place but I didnt have enough posts with this XDA account. I had to use my old account I havent used since I made it because somehow I got locked out of my other one. My password stoped working and I no longer have the email that was associated with that particular account. Sorry about the post but it seemed to be the most logical solution.

Everybody likes keyboard phones -- those who prefer using osk simply keep the keyboard closed. When you really need it, its always helpful to have one.

I figured I would post the info here for individuals that are using this phone already, maybe for development purposes, for a quicker sale. I already have the htc Amaze so the quicker I get rid of this extra phone, the quicker I get the money back that I spent on the amaze. Please don't make assumptions dhkr234. Some people don't like kb phones because it adds more thickness/weight. I know a lot of people who prefer to have a kb-less phone.

[Q] Difficult Situation - Little Help? - Urgent.

Hey guys, I'm kind of in a fit right now could you please help me out here.
I'm getting a buyer for my HTC Sensation and he's willing to pay US$385 for it. I've loved the Galaxy Nexus ever since it got announced and am willing to buy it. I can get the Gnex for about 550$ or so. Should I go forward? I bought my sensation for about $532 or so. Should I go forward and get the Gnex? Am I doing the right thing here?
And also, my Sensation has a combined bill, I bought it with an iPad 2. So should I give the original bill to the seller?
Please reply soon as the buyer is expecting me tomorrow.

Depends in what carrier you are on I guess.. I am biased. I live my sgs2. I think it is the best I've ever used and I've had a lot of phones. And i would not give him the bill. Personal info and its unneeded really in a personal sale

Edit: That is a total joke. I checked to see how much they would give me on my HD2 and it was $35. Now I understand the HD2 is a old phone now but I can still sell it on Ebay for atleast a $100. I also cchecked to see what they would give me on my Sensation and it was only $100. Now the Sensation is justca little over a year old now and the one I have is even still under warranty. So yeah this is a joke, they do recycle the devices but they only recycle the devices to get the precious metals out of them.

i did some research into uk alternatives and if you google phone recycling a few websites were offering £100 for sensation xe. I guess that's ok if you don't want any fuss and are looking for a quick sale

THC Thouch Pro is to old to get any money... I can sell it for at least 25$ =75PLN... Even polish Orange runs this kind of recykling and they would give me 50 PLN for this phone.

which basically means they dont care for the value of the phone, only the value of the metal, hence the low price?

They seem to go for upwards of $200 on craigslist around here; $100 not a good deal
