Hi,
Did you SuperWipe?
Did you let the ROM reboot after installation,BEFORE installing apps?
What kernel are you running?

Hi,
Every thing should be working with the setup you have.
When you restored TB apps, was there any system data that you might have installed.
Otherwise,I suggest re-download the ROM,check md5 checksum,then do a clean install.
No apps,and test the Bluetooth.
yes um...thanks for bringing that system data up.
Yes i did restore the system back up of my stock rom is that a problem?.
first i restored app+data then system data.
I've been a long time ARHD user up until last week. I switched to insertcoin because on ARHD, bluetooth works but people say I echo really bad and cuts out intermittently. But to me, they sound fine. I tried to make it work with ARHD and tried every kernel out there but still, people say I sound like crap. So far, insertcoin hasnt given me any problems.

When I first booted up WiFi worked for about 2 minutes. Found my home network, connected...appeared all was well.
Then suddenly it stopped and now it'll just read Turning Wi-Fi On... indefinitely. Eventually it'll say error.
Originally superwiped before flashing ROM, flashed the suggested radio.
I tried clearing cache and dalvik, didn't help.
My phone hates wifi apparently. Wi-Fi being junk is the reason I rooted in the first place. Was hoping this'd fix it. The fact that it's "intermittent" makes me wonder if it really is a hardware fault.
Any ideas?
Android Version: 4.0.3

Kernel: 3.0.16 SebastionFM #1
Hboot- 1.27.1100
Radio- 11.22.3504.07_M
Tried a factory restart w/ sim pulled, still nothing.
The odd thing is how it worked at first when I booted up..then stopped functioning alltogether.
I had the EXACT same thing happen to me this morning. I went to bed last night and wifi was working great. This morning when I took it off the charger I noticed that wifi wasn't running. Tried turning it on an it wouldn't turn on. I thought it may be a glitch so I tried restarting. No change. Realized I had fastboot checked so restarted without it. No change.
If I go to the Settings menu under the icon to switch on wifi it says error. When I try and turn it on it has the message about turning on wifi for a few minutes and then the switch turns off. I also noticed that it is draining my battery VERY fast (most likely because it is continually trying to to turn on wifi)
Not sure what happened or what would cause this. I'm running ARHD 6.2.1.
I was planning on upgrading this afternoon after work to 6.5.1. Hopefully this new wifi issue doesn't get in the way of that...
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to update your firmware first!
In ARHD thread Mike1986 states: 3.32.401.x firmware is required! So go to this tread and get the necessary firmware and you wouldn't have any wifi issues.
I'm also running 6.5.1 and have wifi on for almost the entire day without any problems!
Thanks for the reply BioTeck. I can't speak for BrokenWiFi but for me I've been running on 6.2.1 for about 2 weeks no (with the suggested firmware for that version) and haven't had a problem. Then all of the sudden this morning it started having this problem.
Any suggestions on what I can try? This evening I plan on upgrading firmware to latest as well as upgrading to 6.5.1 so I'm hoping that helps but are there any other suggestions I can try?

That's strange indeed!
If I were you I would try to flash the latest version of ARHD 6.5.1 and see how that goes? For me 6.5.1 is rock stable, fast and it feels smooth!

I did update it originally.
I decided to go through again...I just downloaded 3.32.401 from that thread...flashed it, superwiped and installed ROM. Still no dice. It reads all the same as it did before in the "software information" area.
I don't think I could have booted w/o that firmware correct? I'm coming from gingerbread originally...
Am I missing something?
Thanks a ton for helping me, I really really really really appreciate it.
Strange.... Apparently it's an ICS bug and has been posted here!
[09Jan]Turning on Wi-Fi gives an error after flashing hacked Kernel
This seems to happen if you flash the 4.0.1 kernel on a 4.0.3 ROM, make sure you've flashed the correct kernel for your ROM base and cleared both cache and dalivk after flashing.

On the ARHD thread, there seems other to have the same problem. Some of them solved the problem by reflashing. Perhaps you can try that as well and post this problem in ARHD's thread as well...

This happen to me way way long ago, back during the series 3 ARHD. After going through many things, a simple rom reflash fixed it for me.
I was never able to figure out why. I asked around in here and else where and there were some talk of it back then with a few tips for solution, which did not work.
As far as I could tell, that was the only time ever that I flashed a rom without turning off wifi before rebooting into recovery. I have since then diligently turn off wifi before flashing anything. Never encountered the problem again.
P.s. I recalled reading something about how the wifi is stuck on "On", while the rom trying to turn something that's already On, On and errored itself.

Wanted to update on my progress. I solved the issue on my phone:
I was messing around with it today while waiting for a meeting to start and I found where the wifi settings, etc are stored. It ended up being a corrupt/invalid wpa_supplicant.conf file. All I had to do was pull that file out from the directory and turn on wifi and *poof* it worked again. When I turned wifi on it created a new file and everything has been great so far this afternoon.
In case anyone wants to give it a shot who is having wifi issues you can find the wpa_supplicant.conf file in /data/misc/wifi/ directory on your phone. Simply cut/rename the file and put it somewhere else. If you have wifi passwords you want to save, you can open the original file using a text editor and copy the settings over to the new file.
I believe the cause of my issue was actually Titanium Backup. Looking at the last time it backed up my wifi settings was back when I wasn't running ICS yet. Yesterday I did restore an app using it and must have accidentally restored that old backup. Their formats are different from Gingerbread to ICS apparently and it was causing errors.

Unfortunately after reading your latest post, Broken WiFi, I don't know that the fix that worked for me applies to you but just in case --> Are you using (or did you use) Titanium Backup to restore any of your apps? Is it possible you have a corrupt file as well? Obviously you are wiping out that file when you superwipe so I don't think you have the same issue but it is probably worth checking.
Funny, it worked!
I had a feeling the supplicant was the problem..
In my last rom it wouldn't let me touch anything in /data even though I was SU and S-OFF.....
So I'd just delete the one in /system... but it never helped.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Seriously, I've spent like 15 hours troubleshooting this...reading every thread on the net.
Never thought to try and delete the one in /data in this rom.
THANK YOU so very very much.
I can't post in DEV, but maybe you could let some people know over there that it's a fix.
I copied wpa_supplicant.conf from gb miui and it seems to be working for now, will test it some more..
Sounds like hardware..I had a problem with what turned out to be the battery cover, it has the antennas built in to it.. changed this and was good again. Worked for me..

After deleting the above suggest file, my wifi no longer says "turning on" but says error. If I hit turn on, it reverts back to constantly saying "turning on".

One thing you might try doing is deleting it and then try restarting the phone. That would be the next step I would do. If it doesn't work then you might have to start looking into a hardware or rom issue.
After you try deleting and then restart if that doesn't work I'd back everything up and try flashing your rom again.

I did try to cut/delete/rename the file through ES File Explorer and Super manager but the file doesn't move/delete/rename. Plus for some reason this file is under "/etc/wifi/" instead of "/data/misc/wifi/" /data is an empty folder in my phone. Maybe you are using different explorer?
By the way , I've updated my phone with OTA_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.32.401.5-1.50.401.1_P_release_246627z7pljztztog0er50. I've deleted the file and restarted many times, Wifi will say OFF or ERROR, i will try to turn it on and the same problem occurs, stuck saying "turning on". I've reflashed rom and firmware many times using different kernels and techniques etc. I can't believe it to be hardware related as everything was fine with version 6.3.1 and firmware 3.30... then updated to 6.5.1 and 3.32.. fine again however a couple of hours later WiFi was off and continued to say "turning on". I'm going to try to downgrade to 6.3.1 and 3.30 again to see if that helps..
I've having the same problem. I updated to firmware 3.32 and ROM ARHD 6.5.1 last Saturday and WiFi seemed to be working until yesterday. Today it won't work at all - I can't make or receive calls and had to move the SIM card to a Blackberry curve so I could get some work done.
Tonight I tried deleting the wifi supplicant file posted earlier and that seems to help for one or two calls then it's back to no calls at all. So then I wiped the cache and devlik cache and tried again. That may have helped, but I'm not sure yet.
I'm starting to see a real trend in these WiFi issues. There have been a lot of threads about it lately. I don't know what is causing the problem though.
I had my WiFi shut off again today with the same issue. The fix I posted earlier worked again but having to do this every few days is not going to be acceptable...
I REALLY am enjoying ics and arhd 6 but I'm afraid between this WiFi problem and the fact that T-Mobile WiFi calling doesnt work I might be going back to gingerbread...

Hi, i've bought an unlocked T-Mobile HTC Sensation and was running Android Revolution HD for Sensation gingerbread. my Camera app has suddenly stopped working... I've tried updating to latest ICS from Android Revolution HD 6.5.1 but still the camera is not working. when i start the app... the screen flashes and then again I'm back on the home screen. Strangely, when using application "mirror" it starts the front camera... and that is working fine... and i've tried multiple apps from market for back camera...but its not working using any of them... can you please help me out with this... any help in this would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks

this is weird did you tried other camera apps?
if its still not working then
do a superwipe and flash rom again and see(this method erases data ..so backp them before hand)
Similar problem, if i click the camera or camcorder icon the screen goes black, it either stays black until i take the battery out or it crashes and restarts?! Weird, cant use it to take pics in any other apps either. front camera is fine on skype though...!? everything is uptodate nothing was updated recently?! Anyone
(Im on stock)
This happened to me once when i was stock. I would do a battery pull and it would work again..but finally did a hard restore through recovery and cleared all the caches and that worked. Now im rooted and on energy GB rom and I have not had that problem anymore.
Just flashing a new rom did not help. I actually had to do a factory reset on the ROM as well..in the Setting/storage.
Never ran into this problem

I would suggest clearing the app data.
Have you news. I have the same problem and have yet to find any solution. If you have one I'd be grateful for it.
LuckyD
Go to Task Manager>>Advanced>>All apps>>Find the Camera app and select it>>Force Close if it is running & then Clear Data.
This should fix it.
If not, get this app. Go to primary and secondary camera, & check if they both work.
If it works, then there's a problem with the stock app.
If not, there is either a problem with the camera or with camera access.
I would suggest reflashing your current ROM, since this seems to solve issues, many a time.
Try installing another pyramid
have you tried to download a special or customized pyramid from the sensation android development department and then tried out your 4g??? a customized pyramid + tweaks will allow the htc camera to work because the htc family usually creates htc's like as if they were real babies.. the htc's adapt to you and then little by little all the problems like "over-heating reset, camera faults and random keyboard touches" are common problems with the htc... installing a different pyramid or returning it for another new one will usually fix this..

As far as I can tell, your camera is not being detected.
I would recommend that you do this:
1>NANDROID backup
2>SuperWipe (it can be found in this post at the very end)
3>Re-install ROM (Remember to check MD5 before installing)
4>Check if the Camera works.
If not, then Super Wipe and restore your previous backup.
If it works, get back to me. (PM me if I don't reply)
If you have further questions, feel free to ask.

I'm having an odd problem, and I'm not sure what to do about it.
This morning when I woke up, I noticed that there was a BusyBox update in my notification bar. Upon trying to update it failed.
So, I uninstall BusyBox, and try to reinstall it, but I'm met with a message that I don't have root access. Upon checking with Root Checker, I DO have root access. But, now all of a sudden, my wifi is not working, when it has worked flawlessly up to this point.
I'm not sure what to do. I don't have a nandroid backup to roll back to, and I need my wifi to work. Would doing a factory reset and flashing a new ROM solve this problem?

but before you do anything.....
download these files and put them on your sd card of the phone, NOT THE EXT memory card, you are gonna flash them like you would a ROM ok, in cwm, you can flash them back to back while you are in CWM...kk
download this file first and flash this file first: FLASH ME FIRST

I think MIUI occasionally loses recovery. Possible kernel issue.
Read through the thread to see if you can get some additional info.
I'm not sure if it has any bearing on your wifi..possible.
If you know how, you can try extracting the kernel from MIUI rom and reflashing just the kernel using SGS kernel flasher to retain your data.

I definitely don't know how to do that haha. I'm a noob when it comes to this whole game, although I'm slowly learning.
Do you think doing a factory reset, wiping everything, and then flashing a new ROM might fix my issue? I did want to try out one of the new ICS ROMs, so if that will fix my problem I might as well go ahead and try one of them out.
Flashing Uniporn seemed to have fixed my issue. I first re-flashed MIUI and that didn't solve anything, so I guess the issue was with MIUI? Just odd that the wifi would drop out after using it flawlessly for 4 months.
Oh well, got something new to play with again. Thanks for the help guys!

Looks like phone dialer apps not resetting/recovering after call. Usually due to limited RAM. Go to menu->Manage Apps and check free memory under "RUNNING" tab. If you have many "resident" apps like google+, google docs, facebook, skype, try deleting or killing them and make your call again to see if helps.
You can root your phone and flash good memory-management kernel such as Marmite for a more permanent solution. With root, you can remove bloated "system" apps that came with stock JB 4.1.2
My phone is rooted under the settings after my phone call I have about half the ram free if I clear the phone app data and force close the app problem still persists I'll try to flash a new radio see how it goes

Try Marmite Kernel - v3.2. It solved a lot of intermittent problem.
For CM10.0, use this CM version.
Try marmite with my stock ROM didnt help still only get one phone call

Hey guys, I just wanted to post a hint for all the people having issues with the latest superman ROM but it seems I can only post here with my new account.
So the trick is that I simply went back to recovery and wiped dalvik and cache (nothing else) and it seems to be behaving a little better now.. Quite a few hours with no freeze.
I'm also using the new 1.4 kernel as opposed to the one offered with the ROM (1.3.1).
Hope that it helps and feel free to merge this message in the superman ROM thread if you can.
No problems at all with superman rom, works smooth.
Only Titanium Backup would not restore any backups unless the app was installed.

I never said differently.. but if you look in the ROM thread, you'll find that people is having reboot issues with kernel 1.3.1 and system freeze issues with kernel 1.4

Not sure what you did there but I was able to restore apps that weren't installed and Titanium did the usual Market restore by itself, as usual.

I'm aware that there are users having trouble with Superman Rom. I did a complete fresh install for this, like mentioned in the "how to install" and not experiencing any (reboot) issues. Having the Superman kernel running and put all options to "on". Basically I confirm your hint
For Titanium Backup I made a full backup of all rom and of all user apps with data (Stock + CF-Auto-Root). Titanium seemed to hang at the moment of restoring any app. I redid the ROM install with an older version of superuser and it didn't help. All other suggestions in the Superman thread were tried, no result .
When I installed the app from the market and than restored it from Titanium it succeeded
As an alternative I had a full TWRP backup and restoring the data partition gave me all my user apps including data
I am not experiencing any of those issues.
What i did was a full wipe as suggested. (Everything except the SD Card)
I believe this is the best way to go because it sets permissions right.
I took the superkernel also no issues there.
Except i didn't take exposed because of the pre warning that systems might get slow.
I know this is not a real awnser to your question but ruling stuf out is also a possible fix.
Good luck.

I had Superman Rom too, but never used the kernel, always used Voltaqe.
Now I use Kingrom v8 and Voltaqe is down.
Also, now Im talking about it, if somebody still has the Voltaqe 1.4 zip, could somebody please upload it and send me a link?
