I would like to use a razr XT912 offline and w/o sim but I wiped it and can no longer get to the debugging option.
I am hoping someone knows an option for me.
Is there a pre rooted SBF?
would it be to much for someone to compile one or something else that would be effective.
thanks for any help

I had a droid x2 and broke it. Now i just bought a droid charge from a buddy, but he said it's rooted and i need to get a SIM card. but told me not to take the phone with me, so i didn't, but they wont give me a sim card without the phone, I honestly dont know what i'm doing when it comes to rooting and unrooting, so the easiest explanation possible would be greatly appreciated, i looked at other threads, but i can't follow them. i just need this phone to work, and unrooted. help?!
Never mind...sorry

Is it just me? Did I not get all the drivers installed correctly? Any one else with a Razr HD having issues not being able to connect to HW VSP?
And before yall ask (I know I did ask for it) Yes I did BP tools and have USB debugging working. Also, I flashed down to 4.0.4 from 4.1.1 as Motorola agent said it had PC mode. I should slap her for being so wrong. Or should I? I have searched 6 forums for similar issues on the Version Droid Razr Maxx HD over the last 3 days and have not found any thing.
Help?
Ok, removing all traces of the Motorola software and reinstalling to see if I can find the issues. I hope it is just the drivers.
I've been searching and I've seen some posts about it already, but I'd like some clarification if possible.
My cousin has a Droid Razr HD from Verizon and it's running 9.16.6 currently after using mattgroffl's utility. Prior to that, it had the 9.18.79 update on it. As it stands, the phone is rooted and Superuser is running properly, has been updated, etc. However, when he tries to run the Motocalypse bootloader unlock APK, it does nothing. Is this do to the 9.18 update being installed previously? Is there a known workaround or one in process? This is more curiosity than anything. To me, if the phone was "flashed" back to 9.16.6, then 9.18.79's "files" shouldn't exist... Unless my logic is entirely flawed.
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time to those who post!
I might be wrong here but from what I've read, if you accepted the latest update, you can no longer unlock the bootloader. But obviously it is rootable.

Okay, so I have a Motorola Droid Maxx v. 4.4.4. My kid wiped my phone and I lost everything. I can't seem to find a program or Root.
Recovery programs fail due to the phone not having USB Mass Storage Capabilities. Does anyone know of a Root for this version? Is there a way to downgrade? Any information would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Thanks,

looks like it is a NO on root, but with possibilities. read here for more info.
im assuming you were not rooted before the wipe? because if you were, all you should need to do is re-install the su app and it would work again. fdr cant remove the root binaries.
I'm using Verizon Droid Razr Maxx HD. Bootloader is unlocked as well. I was initially rooted on Kit Kat and then I installed CM12 for Lollipop but somehow during the process I lost root. What is the best method to get it back? Thanks!
Enable root in the settings menu.
Wow...I feel like an idiot lol. I had no clue they started to do that. But thanks, man! I greatly appreciate it!
I'm pretty sure that's the problem, anyway. I just installed Slim on my tablet and there was an option to enable root in Developer's Options.
