[HOW TO] EvDo REV.B using QXDM professional - Android General

Having published articles about the tutorial using the DFS Rev.B, and many who want to use QXDM. now I'm trying to write a tutorial Rev.B use special Professional QXDM for the other day .... once again ask the tutor is only applicable to HH ANDROID that are supported for Rev.B antecedent prop and strengthened by Snapdragon MSM6800 chipset generation 3 of Qualcomm (not especially QSC QSD: (): whistle: eg CDMA HTC 3D EVO, EVO VIEW, INCREDIBLE 2, and DESIGN 4G ... this step applies to all providers who provide services sdh Rev.B as FLEXI and SMARTFREN in Indonesia ... Q: others when catch yah? a: the second is just not comprehensive provider network d Rev.B only certain cities ... hahahha
that need to be prepared:
-Time approximately 10 minutes.
- Snacks (if u need it)
- HTC USB driver
- HTC diag
- QPST build up and build 3.12.714 Professional QXDM
- USB cable which can still be in use (though that has been in the rat bite if it still works fine)
- PC / laptop Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 (which obviously can run QXDM, diag HTC and HTC driver): lol:
- The brain is ready for the worst (most fatal re-flashing or re-inject if the wrong way)
- And most important of HH which will be executed.
rare-step:
smua install drivers from HTC, HTC Diag, QPST, until QXDM ... After all is installed, connect the HH to PC / laptop using the usb cable usb debugging mode position on the check, then diag mode # # 3424 # / call (usually diag must be repeated because sometimes Outgoing from diag mode by itself) ..
open QPST configuration continues to add new port, then click "start client" and click "programming service" you will be brought to the phone selection window click ok.
PIC:

}
after the new window that will pop up a window service programming click read from phone and SPC prompt will appear again just hit OK.
PIC:
then minimize QPST and open QXDM. before going to drink coffee before the cold ..
after QXDM open click OPTIONS> COMMUNICATIONS port selection window will appear .. click on the target port and choose the appropriate port to the port where you read like HH in QPST and click ok!
PIC:
Click View> Common> NV Browser you will be brought to the NV browser window ... select the DATA tab and category filter down drag the cursor to get to the item and then click read 06 248, if the contents of the status is showing the number 1 means you are ordered to HH run eHRPD (envolved HIGH rATE PACKET DATA) if it is still filled with the number 0 means this feature is not activated, do not forget to write ye Eitss. This is the stage of the technology after the MFPA (multi-flow packet application) then MFPA / EMPA (enchanted multilink application packet) and the latter is the eHRPD .. this feature is also used for LTE networks which support the stability of the data but also depends on the quality of the network ... CMIIW well I'm just a student of psychology so please be advised ...
PIC :
lets gotta HDR tab :
PIC:
well .... everything is revealed in this column. patient to drink more coffee. first drag it down to 04 528 items and the like in the last eHRPD we also must watch for when the time eHRPD not work (usually when the transition in poor signal of EVDO to 1x) we also have to enable the feature before the technology is EMPA / MFPA . same way with the click of a read if it is filled with a number of means of this feature is activated if 0 means this feature is not activated ... then click write ...
PIC:
then this is eagerly awaited. note in item 04 964 close of EMPA item ... only 2 items away ... click read and click on the item in its field and select the no.5 HDRSCP_REVB_PROTOCOLS_WITH_EHRPD then quickly disappear immediately click write before looks ... * kidding hahahah ....
PIC:
then click the reset button located next to read ..... reboot or restart your handheld (if you fail to restart, restart it manually) you have REV.B. tradaaaaaaaaa HH to check please open QXDM back, with the position of debugging on and in diag mode. select incoming communication port, and then view> New> CDMA 1xEV> 1xEV Rev.B> multicarrier AIRLINK summary ... if the carrier has been filled in column 2 carrier (flexi) or 3 carrier (smartfren) is active and running means Rev.B is ready in your HH. if not there is some possibility that you have the wrong procedure, or you not support rev.B. HH ...
so many of my posts are hopefully useful to the reader .... yours respectfully ....
DWYOR yeh eh: laugh: ................

Thank you!
But this method activates Rev.B only untill next reboot on HTC EVO LTE, unfortunatelly. Does anybody know how to activate Rev.B permanently?

Bumping a old thread but when I am trying to enable rev.b on Sprint HTC M8, I am able to get item number 04 528 & 04 964 but not 06 248. 06 248 is not in the drop down list. Can someone help?

Social worker w/ Tilt having trouble after flashing

After spending hours reading through the FAQ's and all on how to flash I finally took the leap and did it, flashing my AT&T Tilt to Dutty's DualTouch v3 Final.
*1* Unfortunately my usual 3G isn't working.. When I go to the Communication Manager and select (under the 3G logo) "Change to GSM mode" (to force it into 3G) it shows at the top that there is no service. Is this a radio issue? I know about radio's except **I can't find where to look on my Tilt to see what current radio it is using**..
also, There is an "H" in the upper task bar instead of the usual 3G or E (Edge). I guess this stands for HSDPA?
1.B. When I try to check my gmail account it says "Cannot connect for unknown reason".. I can't figure out why in the settings.
(Other, less important issues below, from unimportant to really unimportant)
2. How can I make it so the leading "zero" goes away in the time? (i.e. 03:00pm)
3. How can I change the date to make it "american style" (month/day/year)
4. How can I get rid of the anti-aliased look in the print?
5. how can I activate the cube look to check it out?
I guess if I can't get the email and all working I'll just switch it back to the old AT&T ROM and re-remove the bloatware
Thanks for your information and help!!

Turn of hidden proxy to get the internet working. And there is no Cube on version 3
Turn off hidden proxy?
How do I turn off the hidden proxy??
I googled that and searched the threads and couldn't find anything about turning off hidden proxies..
(New user + social worker + 2 posts = Going to require step by step in all likelihood)

Okay, Let me find the link for you
Download and install this cab
Link
4. How can I get rid of the anti-aliased look in the print?
Start/settings select screen. Goto clear type and uncheck it.
3. How can I change the date to make it "american style" (month/day/year)
Start/settings then goto system tab and select regional settings. Then goto the last tab date...You can change it there.
Hexane, I just flashed an AT&T Tilt with the same ROM. If you did the hardSPL you should be OK...to check your radio number power your phone down and restart...when it comes back on the number in red after the letter "R" is your radio number. I even flashed a ROM with a different radio number then what I had and my phone kept my old radio number...not sure if it was suppose to but it works. The H is for HSDPA which essentially is "3G"...my phone switches between showing the H and 3G, but it works either way. When you go into Comm manager, does it have the blue on button at the bottom beside 3G?
2. How can I make it so the leading "zero" goes away in the time? (i.e. 03:00pm)
settings --> System --> Regional Settings
Goto Time tab and select time style as h:mm:ss that will remove the leadin zero
3. How can I change the date to make it "american style" (month/day/year
settings --> System --> Regional Settings
Goto date tab and select the Date format in there,
5. how can I activate the cube look to check it out?
search for slither cube in xda forums and install it from there.
ask me if you don find the links
From now on if I have a question I will put the same magic words:

[How To]Active Sync via Bluetooth

Hi
I just finished figuring out, how to set up a connection to ActiveSync (AS) via Bluetooth. Thought I spread the word...
I’m German, so are my screenshots
If there are major flaws in my translation, let me know!
Tested multiple times on 2 Computers. Works fine for me...
Abstract:
1) set up a partnership
2) Add a new serial BT connection
3) Enable the new serial BT connection
4) Configure ActiveSync
5) Switch on BT on your mobile
6) Search for device and pair
7) Mobile BT config
1) Very important: You have to connect via cable (USB) first in order for AS to set up a partnership!
2) On your PC, open the advanced BT configuration. You do this by right-klicking on the BT symbol in the tray (1). Go to local services and add a new serial bluetooth connection (3) (a ComPort).
{

"lightbox_share": "Share",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
You can make sure, the ComPort has been added by opening your Device Manager and checking, if the approproate Port shows upt under connections:
3)Now go to "My Devices" (1) by double clicking the BT try icon:
Double click on "My Devices" and look for the serial BT connection. Right click and choose "enable"
continued in post #2 !!!
4) Set up AS to use the established Com Port: Open AS on your Computer, got to Connection settings and enable “connect to this por” and choose the appropriate Com Port:
[/URL]
5) Enable BT on your device:
6) Now go back here and search for BT Devices (2):
Right click on the device which you want to use for ActiveSync, and choose "pairing":
continued in post #3 !!!
A window pops up, asking for a password, use 4 or so characters and hit OK:
Over to your mobile:
A message comes up asking whether you want your PC to connect or not. Of course, you want to!
And then you have to type in the former set password:
Now very impotant: Right after you typed in the password and hit ok, go to your PC and CKLICK ON THE BT-ICON in the try (2)! A Message pops up asking if the device is allowed to use the previously set up BT serial connection. Tick "always" (1) ! And confirm:
continued in post #4 !!!
7) On your mobile, check "active sync" on the device options:
10) Open AS and connect to your PC via BT!
Thats it! Hope this helps someone out there..
AO
PS limiting of pics and BB code sucks for HowTos!
how can i delete unnecessary Com Ports from my device manager?
Every time I delete them and hit refresh, they come right back!
thx

Obsolete.
Anyway, here is my very simple 3 step formula for establishing ActiveSync connection via bluetooth on WIDCOMM Bluetooth (the way I do it).
1) Add a bluetooth com port (rt-click bluetooth icon -> Advance config -> local services -> com port). Remember the com port number.
2) Goto ActiveSync -> File -> Connection settings. Check all the check boxes and select the same com port you selected in step # 1.
3) Pair your device with your PC. Now it will show the "ActiveSync" service when the pairing is completed in the services found on the paired device list.
4) Goto ActiveSync on your Device -> Menu -> Connect Via bluetooth.
End of the story.
If you face any problem, your PC or PPC is not working. Hardreset them. Trust me, it'll work!

AccessUSB uses RSA-2048 encryption. To get access I replace its key in TV firmware, but still looking for original key. If anyone have original AccessUSB, I can copy that RSA key and make a clone.
Original AccessUSB can have time and/or usage count limitations, clone will be without any limitations. So if you help me with this key I will provide firmware and instructions how to make your own AccessUSB. Contact: PM or lgexplorer [at] tutanota.com.
Also looking any other info about original AccessUSB.
AccessUSB devices are signed individually by LG, and I was told that they are pricy to get even for repair shops.
I was making my own one with a BeagleBone Black and CDC-ACM aswell, but deemed it useless due to the existence of better ways to get root and the signature check (serial.pem) on the device

Did you got original AccessUSB or valid RSA key? How repair shops can obtain it?
Root is only one feature, that can be obtained via AccessUSB, also it is official root access method, that will not be "fixed" in updates.

Themes / Apps / Mods *Guide* Moto G Stylus 2021 XT2115 Boost Mobile LTE Data fix

Have you noticed that your data doesnt always work in areas that you get almost perfect signal? Well this guide will help.
Get your dialer open. were gonna us a ussd code!
dial *#*#3282#*#*
(you should get this screen)
{

next you want to tap on LTE button and the next screen will occur
first we will tap on VIEW
make sure you know your MSL code for a later step
(BOOST Mobile normally has aa code of 000000 for their device for easy programming)
(View Screen)
the next step you tap on "Bands Priority" and get ready to change some values.
your values for each band should look like this below (tested on 2 devices and no issues so far)
thats it for that part of our journey. now we have to enable other band functions in the LTE Edit menu.
close that window and start another instance of the ussd code we used earlier and this time when we tap on LTE also tap on Edit (not view).
the next screen should look just like this
now type in your msl code
*again if you have boost mobile it will more than likely be 000000*
000000
the next screen you want to have has a bunch of Upload and Download enablers. Next 2 pictures.
you will want everything enabled that i have above. (pretty much all but 2)
the 2 left not enabled are
CA DL 26A-41A Enabled = off
and
CA DL 38C Enabled = off
they do not stay on for long if you turn them on.
Finally use this USSD dialer code
*#*#4636#*#*
then tap on Phone Information
next you will get the screen below and we aer going to change 1 thing
tap on "Set Preferred Network Type"
you will want to change the type to LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA(PRL)
afte that your finale step is to restart your device. and Voila you should have better data speed by up to 100mbps+/- a second.
Enjoy
donate to me if you like on paypal
@sosthenisRR
Why does this work, and would it also work the same for the boost 5g model?
EDIT: I also want to add, it's probably a good idea to take a screenshot of your existing values before changing them if you need to switch them back.
It works because it puts that natural bands for boost mobile in the order to receive and send data first. They are off with a 0 by default. Which I thought was weird . I only added bands 25,26 and 41 to the queue operating first to capture packets from a native source tower. The UL and DL options enable those frequencies to use the signal sent and received. I enabled all I could by default so I can capture more packets over the network with more possible instances.
As for if it will work on the 5g. I am going to test that tonight and will post in the 5g forum. I do not know because I haven't had much experience besides reading at the moment.
I did the changes on my 5G, service still works, however no noticeable difference in coverage or speed, I did have to set a few to 0 that were enabled before

I probably wouldn't have done that because they're are 5g bands that were enabled like 71 and 12. Try adding the missing bands into the queue gradually and watching for cell tower switchover in phone information. So I would suggest a revert and slowly test each feature/band that you change. Don't go full out because it may cause a conflict with 5g capabilities.
Here is the original band queue for the 5g variant boost mobile. (So you got em in case)
Band 1 is marked as 0.
If you do decide to run with this then let me know how your testing goes and get over to the moto g stylus 5g forum and post there. Wouldn't mind the help testing on 5g as I only have 1 right now. DM/PM me with updates if you can.
