There's no official release date, but HTC has indeed confirmed it coming within the 2 next months.

Definitely not coming next week. I recall seeing that ICS wouldn't be released until after march

They only said it was "ICS ready", and it'll get an update like the regular Sensation and Sensation XE

I put in the Virtuous Inquisition De-sensed ROM and have been blown away by the stability it offers. Unlike stock 2.3.4, I now receive push mail from my exchange server. Battery life is way better. I couldn't cope with the default android keyboard without the touch/swype interface but thanks to XDA, I got that APK to too. I don't want to return to stock anymore.

I was just going through GSMArena and found this. It says that some EU users might be getting a Sense 4.0 update ahead of the official release.

The article doesn't mention Sense 4.0 and the reps say it is coming with 3.6
The images show Sense 4 on Sensation, whether thats custom or even doctored remains to be seen. Certainly has been quiet since that Sense 3.6 leak

Who cares, it adds like nothing. Tmobile update is gonna be real good I think, clearly they made HTC change some stuff up since its taking so long. Its gonna be real nice methinks.

TBH, I don't really want sense because the overall taxing of the system.
And unfortunately there isn't a bug free version of AOSP yet, so i guess the main question is if 4.0.4 used with sense will improve anything?

I hated Sense version 3.0 and 3.6. I hated it. Did I mention I hate it?
I tried Sense 4.0 on for size and I liked it. 4.0 definitely changed my opinion of sense. It's my daily driver. I hope that BT will get fixed soon
We will get 4.0.4 with some bug fixes. However only after HTC has settled down with their One series launches worldwide. I think we will get Sense 4.0 and HTC won't leave their 2011 phone with the same Sense version as their 2010 phone cause the Desire HD will also be getting Sense 3.6.
It won't change that much with the android version.
The big deal must be done by HTC that must give a full working RUU, not a one that has still many important bugs, bugs that the Sense 4.0 Roms don't have (but they have different ones because they are portings, and that's not easy)
HTC Provided Sense 3.6 instead of Sense 4.0 because you guys should atleast get common SENSE rather than Sense4.0 buy new device to get newer softwares/UI, want an example? it's ONE V which has Sense 4.0, with hardware specs closer to Desire HD, (maybe less powerful than DHD) they launched new devices which means older ones are paper weight! I am sorry if I am so harsh..but HTC Desire Z is 1st HTC device I owned, they have completely ended its support after GB 2.3.3 update, and that's also in less than a year, look at that device Section, how active it's...Courtesy of Devs out there, people are running ICS with full hardware functions, and HTC kept users till GB 2.3.3..so that they'll buy new phones whether they have money or not...perfect business ability HTC have....so to keep it simple..through your Sensation into dustbin..forget that how expensive it was when launched..and grab new device anyhow..that's all HTC want..

Until we see an official statement, announced by HTC all these facebook and other site sources are just speculations and rumors. Jelly bean will come along with the new HTC One X+ and will also be received by the ONE X and ONE S first. After these devices are updated HTC might decide to do something with previous phones as well.

I doubt that page is an official HTC page, it says in the article that the link was posted that it wasnt an official statement.
I think no, mainly because Football says we wont and also because of some other reasons that I posted in the sticky thread in Sensation General.
It ever our phones will not have official jellybean. I might be thinking of rooting it after my warranty expires

i don't believe that there will be official support, but i found that some htc one s have snapdragon s3 processor (the same of htc sensation), so, when it will be updated to JB, probabliy there will be some kind of porting to our device
This is BS. I'm really struggling to think of a single good reason to stick with HTC when it's time to refresh my phone and this is a big reason why. Support for the XE was dropped hard after only a matter of months. Samsung's stellar market share rise is in part due to their much better support.
How can we trust HTC any more knowing if we buy another HTC phone, support will be dropped after 6 months and even that's pushing it? I bought my XE back in February this year when it was still a 'flagship' phone so I fell pretty cheated by HTC right now.
My wife currently has a HTC Desire Z (keyboard) and I'm moving her on to Samsung now, my experience with the XE being a big part of the reason why.
Not happy HTC! Why don't you just release a FEW phones and SUPPORT them rather than a gazillion un-supported phones of every possible variation? Didn't Nokia try that strategy? And look where it landed them, they are not even on the charts any more!
Well... I wrote to the support and they said: maybe, but for sure there won't be official Sense 4.x on sensation.
Sorry to say it's extremely doubtful, highly unlikely, that we will ever get official jelly bean. HTC had forgotten about the sensation. To them it's to old. They will just say our device can't support jelly bean or some B.S. like that. My guess is NO. NEVER. even though we're not yet two years old we are forgotten. I'm running a great jelly bean Rom right now thanks to our wonderful developers! Don't know what I'd do with out them!

I got a confirmation from the HTC India support that Sensation Xe will get a Update Possibly 4.2.2 but as usual they don't know the date
but here is the mail that I got from them

as always "in the next few month" lol... and we all about thr "in the next few month" for One S i guess it will July-Auguest, it will port to sensation Sept-October... many of us will change sensation by that time but still it will be good. better thn nothing. lol

HTC Sensation and Sensation XE are the same ... only the XE has a 1.5 ghz processor (overclock by HTC)
