as always "in the next few month" lol... and we all about thr "in the next few month" for One S i guess it will July-Auguest, it will port to sensation Sept-October... many of us will change sensation by that time but still it will be good. better thn nothing. lol

HTC Sensation and Sensation XE are the same ... only the XE has a 1.5 ghz processor (overclock by HTC)

The have, many time, but it's been deleted because the devs was banned from xda and has requested his work not be linked on xda.
Also, wait until CM7 source branch is opened, then we will more than likely get a direct miui build and not just some port (all current miui builds for sensation are technically frankenbuilds because only the few working on CM7 for sensation have working rom source for it).

I put in the Virtuous Inquisition De-sensed ROM and have been blown away by the stability it offers. Unlike stock 2.3.4, I now receive push mail from my exchange server. Battery life is way better. I couldn't cope with the default android keyboard without the touch/swype interface but thanks to XDA, I got that APK to too. I don't want to return to stock anymore.

I doubt HTC will ever give Sensation owners Sense 4.0 officially. They want us to buy a new phone.
^Not that HTC will ever give Sensation owners Sense 4.0 officially but I rather like to think that they are going to be dragging it out over an extended period of time. Much like DHD's case.
HTC isnt going to butcher their new products when Sensation sporting a dual core, can handle Sense 4.0 just as good.

Keep telling yourself that
Sensation was released with great hardware but HTC didn't bother trying to futureproof any of it. They just released something they thought was great, and didn't bother to pay attention to the competition. Look at the hardware differences between the sensation and the gs2. Sensation has less ram and no NFC.

I see that and I don't doubt that it'll be faster. However it is still sense. Sense is bloated. Heck, I'm running cm10 and I still see lots of lag. I highly doubt sense will ever be a fast as cm.

im running CM 10 and i have no lag at all. if anything cm10 is the fastest rom i have ever had on my sensation. and i believe sense 5 can be used as a base for some very very fast roms. dont need to keep sense jus desense it and your away

Well, jb works best with 1gb ram, we don't have it so that is the main reason for lag...

Maybe once the kernel of AOSP/JB with ION can be used on cm10 and cm10 based roms,it will have a better performance.

Yes once we have Full ION capability Roms will become much faster with the new memory management ( ION ) because ION is faster than plain old Pmem
