mind you it isnt straight from china, but its exactly the same, and has evolved since cm7 came out

The have, many time, but it's been deleted because the devs was banned from xda and has requested his work not be linked on xda.
Also, wait until CM7 source branch is opened, then we will more than likely get a direct miui build and not just some port (all current miui builds for sensation are technically frankenbuilds because only the few working on CM7 for sensation have working rom source for it).

no posted in it this thread, and the banhammer was very sudder, but alas, this is very true, but im a sense user anyway, so its kinda irrelevant to me not a fan of the iphone/galaxyS interface

Axtually the dev at modaco gave rights to tonyo to post a thread about it. Mods still teleted it

I already voted. Everyone should vote even if they dont use MIUI the more development the more options we have. There's no official release date, but HTC has indeed confirmed it coming within the 2 next months.

I put in the Virtuous Inquisition De-sensed ROM and have been blown away by the stability it offers. Unlike stock 2.3.4, I now receive push mail from my exchange server. Battery life is way better. I couldn't cope with the default android keyboard without the touch/swype interface but thanks to XDA, I got that APK to too. I don't want to return to stock anymore.

I doubt HTC will ever give Sensation owners Sense 4.0 officially. They want us to buy a new phone.
^Not that HTC will ever give Sensation owners Sense 4.0 officially but I rather like to think that they are going to be dragging it out over an extended period of time. Much like DHD's case.
HTC isnt going to butcher their new products when Sensation sporting a dual core, can handle Sense 4.0 just as good.

I prefer Android Revolution HD (i'm on 6.5.1, will try 6.5.2 later today), InsertCoin also worked like a charm on my device. At the end it's personal preference I think. But look at the number of replies on the ARHD thread, it shows how active the Android Revolution team and the community is. The support is amazing. I love it.
I am using elegancia rom, arhd is simple rom where u must add every think by yourself, elegancia have everything built in, and also is beautifle. Aaaand also u can chose some options in instalation like oc kernel (better cpu, like 1,5 or 1,7 instead 1,2). Give it a try, i wont be dissapointed.

IC is by far the smoothest and it gets updated at least 2 times per week. ARHD is good too but I always return to IC! Try them and choose the one that fits your needs

+1 for Android Revolution The support is mega, thats what i love more than anything.
Fair enough you may have to add modds / tweaks yourself, But thats because not everyone wants a ton of mods n stuff, Some people just want a stock looking custom ROM.
IMO its better than having them all built into the ROM and having to dissect it to remove the stuff you dont want..
But the main thing is personal preference.... There is not better / worse ROM

I must agree with that, u must try it for u self and decide. Unless there is a rom, wich is very, very, very bad, but talking about all main roms, u must decide for u self.
Thanks guys. I'm going to try each one of these roms that has been mentioned.. What I'm looking for is something that looks good, has very good battery life and is fast. First one I'm going to try is InsertCoin. Is there any good asop roms floating about.. I used to use Oxygen Rom on the HTC Desire S.

Elagancia is fast, and IMO have the best look, I am using 1,7 kernel, and don't have exellent battery life, but many people say they do, maby they using less kernel.
Extreme Sensation Dream 3 is out so it should better now

I'll look into that one... Green time lol I tryed Prime 5 yesterday. It was perfect for me but the only thing that made me change my Rom was because the GPS didn't work at all... It's a shame because I really liked Prime 5.

I prefer stock looking roms so I'd have to say, ARHD. I've been using it awhile now and really havn't had any complaints. Plus the support is very good!

Until we see an official statement, announced by HTC all these facebook and other site sources are just speculations and rumors. Jelly bean will come along with the new HTC One X+ and will also be received by the ONE X and ONE S first. After these devices are updated HTC might decide to do something with previous phones as well.

I doubt that page is an official HTC page, it says in the article that the link was posted that it wasnt an official statement.
I think no, mainly because Football says we wont and also because of some other reasons that I posted in the sticky thread in Sensation General.
It ever our phones will not have official jellybean. I might be thinking of rooting it after my warranty expires

i don't believe that there will be official support, but i found that some htc one s have snapdragon s3 processor (the same of htc sensation), so, when it will be updated to JB, probabliy there will be some kind of porting to our device
This is BS. I'm really struggling to think of a single good reason to stick with HTC when it's time to refresh my phone and this is a big reason why. Support for the XE was dropped hard after only a matter of months. Samsung's stellar market share rise is in part due to their much better support.
How can we trust HTC any more knowing if we buy another HTC phone, support will be dropped after 6 months and even that's pushing it? I bought my XE back in February this year when it was still a 'flagship' phone so I fell pretty cheated by HTC right now.
My wife currently has a HTC Desire Z (keyboard) and I'm moving her on to Samsung now, my experience with the XE being a big part of the reason why.
Not happy HTC! Why don't you just release a FEW phones and SUPPORT them rather than a gazillion un-supported phones of every possible variation? Didn't Nokia try that strategy? And look where it landed them, they are not even on the charts any more!
Well... I wrote to the support and they said: maybe, but for sure there won't be official Sense 4.x on sensation.
Sorry to say it's extremely doubtful, highly unlikely, that we will ever get official jelly bean. HTC had forgotten about the sensation. To them it's to old. They will just say our device can't support jelly bean or some B.S. like that. My guess is NO. NEVER. even though we're not yet two years old we are forgotten. I'm running a great jelly bean Rom right now thanks to our wonderful developers! Don't know what I'd do with out them!
