hybroman 12 which i am using right now is extremely stable, everything working..
otherwise the cm 7.2 fxp 108 is stable too but without the stereo speaker and the walkman button..
performance wise, cm 7.2 is much better, with higher benchmarks

just follow the ones given on the hybrom download site, it's pretty clear exact words,
Installation instructions
Needs unlocked bootloader
(actually hybrom does not contain a boot image. Thus, when you install hybrom you don't mess with your boot image at all.BUT recovery from nAa is installed in /system and while system is formated during the installation of hybrom, recovery messes with it self. That's why unlocked bootloader is necessary for now to install hybrom)
Copy the zip file to your SD card
Reboot your device in CWM
Make a full data wipe-factory reset
Wipe cache and Dalvik cache
Choose install zip from sd card
Wait for installation to end
Reboot
(First reboot after installation might take a while and screen gets totally black after boot animation is displayed for about a minute or twnly on first reboot)
Reboot a second time
Enjoy!
(If anyone gets stuck at se logo at first reboot,he should try this also: First make the data wipe, then install, then shutdown the device.Turn it on after about 10sec)
(Tested and confirmed by chrisbymoningka for v7)

Got some doubts..
1)What is the use of changing kernal??
2)please give me instructions to unlock the boot loader..
3)How to get CWM By installing Xrecovery or some otherway?
thank you

1. changing kernel lets you overclock your phone, like use it at 1.2ghz, when you need it, i do not suggest it, as it decreases the battery life by a lot. also cpu governors, which is like the clock is limited to 600mhz at night, thus saving battery..
2. go to http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com/ easy instructions given. remember this voids your warranty..
3.the custom kernels come with preinstalled CWM and root

Since I didn't install any kernel how can l go to cwm for my friend w8 I used x recovery ,but I didn't find x recovery for wt 19i
Sent from my WT19i

Hybrom working fine
thanks for the help i installed hybrom and rage kernal..
its working good....

when i first installed recovery, it was through this batch script. the script is not mine, i cannot find the original thread where i found it.. read the instructions carefully

Anyway thanks buddy!
I installed the rage kernel first so i got cwm then i install the Hybrom 12 its good thanks Man!!

rom not boot

I have x10 mini.....
bootloader unlocked
flashed [KERNEL] nAa-12 ics
I can flash any kernel.....then I can flash any rom....
but rom never boot never started.....when I open the phone appeas the logo of kernel and then restart the phone
Why??
Are you using clockwork mod to flash the kernel? Are you clearing cache and dalvik cache before install of the kernel? Was the ROM working before trying to flash the kernel? Need more info!
---------- Post added at 12:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:36 PM ----------
Probably best to just start fresh. Make sure the ROM and kernel you want are on your SD Card.
1. Enter recovery
2. Wipe data/factory reset
3. Clear Cache Partition
4. Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. Install ROM from SD Card
6. Install Kernel from SD Card
7. Reboot phone
I enter recovery off nAa ics3 ....what kernel can I flash from sd after flashing rom???
Follow procedure above, you'll want to flash the ROM, then any supported kernel on top of it.
ToD
step 1-5 I ' m doing ever...I have x10 mini pro and I know something about flashing....I had never problem flashing any rom on x10 mini pro...

First 3 checks
1. Are you unlocked boot loader ??
2. Do you have cm10 kernel install ???
3. Did u do a clean install ???
If any answer of above questions is in no than do it before.
If all of your answer is yes and If its more than 10 minute remove your battery wait for 30 seconds put battery in and turn on the phone....
Still no luck than open a cwm go to mount and storage and check system is Mount or not
Still you are in boot loop wipe everything and install ROM as mentioned in the installation instruction wait for 10 minutes.
Still you don't get it boot, give logcat here
cheers

I followed these steps...
Bootloader is Unlocked...used S1 tool to confirm this...I see a smallcase "r" --- Not sure if I am right here.
Made changes in the rom zip; META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script .... removed the lines as metioned in the post, re-zipped & copied rom to SD card
Using Flashtool flashed X10_4.0.4_scritch_BootManager_v5 for the recovery issue
Booted in recovery....followed all your install instructions
Installed the rom using above zip on SD card; once done installed the gapps....after completion rebooted
After reboot.....i get the bootscreen animation where its stuck
Let me if the steps I followed are correct
Thanks

[Q] (Q) ¿Error al entrar en CWM?

Hello friends, I am newbie in android something I wanted to install CWM 6.0.4.5 of this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560928 and everything goes perfectly, but when squeezed keys + volume, power and home the ANDROID SYSTEM RECOVERY 3E shows me instead of CWM 6.0.4.5 and enter CWM have to do to step 4 with odin and remove the battery etc. .. and I can get! but only this time, after I turn it and attempt to re-enter but it appears the android system recovery 3e. Please help, I do not want this whole process to remove the battery to get. Thank you!
hi @matutecarp99
you have to flash this file called cwm-permanentor.zip with CWM to prevent the Stock ROM to flash it's own recovery over CWM
Warning : flashing cwm-permanentor.zip makes your device status custom.
you can find cwm-permanentor.zip here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303395
find it in section B)Rooting it's one of those 2 links.
there is other solutions for this, mentioned in tutorial in your link, but this method i said worked for me.

It's because the firmware overwrite cwm with stock recovery, you must root it or directly flash custom ROM. Or use the trick from the first replier.

actually backup is not necessary i suggested it because it's good to have a back up of stock rom, so whenever anything goes wrong you can restore your phone as it was.

You don't need kernel or cwm. Both are included in cm ROM.
Sent from my GT-I9003
Remove battery and place it back (turn off),
put your phone into download mode (vol down-home then power)
odin
place all the stock rom files (pit, ....)
start
and also I suggest you don't go for the CM11 yet, because it has some bugs as I tried it.
There are better stable roms for SL here.

Thanks dude this rom is amazing i'am impressed by your work .:good:
Cons/bugs:
1) No otg support ( otg is not important for me)
Pros:
1)Ram availability is upto 1300 (in original rom i got 700 to 800).
2) More internal space: After installation this rom takes 1gb of space only.
3) It has OpenGl es 3.1 good for graphics/gaming.
4) SE linux can be changed between permissive and enforcin .(i used app for that)
i guess thats all i found so far but this rom is great fo my device (Huawei y6 pro Tit-al00)
again thanks Abidulla and thankyou Xda.
Don't I have to wipe cache, wipe data, format mount in the process of installing this Rom?
