Delete all my threads post and my account

Since lately people feel i spam and i keep getting complaints i just want all my threads posts and my account here deleted.Iam tired of fighting with people i though i was adding something but i guess not so i go away as long as the games i made leave with me.so just delete all my stuff

Not sure why you seem to think this is necessary.. I just went over your thread history and though at first glance it might seem like "spam", each and every once is slightly different in title and content and that is not spam.
Maybe looking back, you should have kept all of your games in a single thread and maintained it there but at the same time, each app DOES justify a new thread as per the XDA-Developers.com rules AFAIK.
Don't let these guys get to you man...

i have made games for qvgq vga and wvga i couldnt post them together because it takes me 1-3 weeks apart and by then my old thread would be gone from opening list. But now moderators are pm me saying keep spam down and one moderator said something that pissed me off.He said something about warez.How the hell could i be posting any warez if i made my own games?and all the games i made where 1 to 3 levels max.Wow i cracked a 3 level game.How dumb is it to say that when none of the games i made are for sale, thats just plain stupid.I just want all my stuff of here so when i go on google or yahoo i dont see my games on xda-developers.Xda-developers did say that if any developer requests thier items to be off thier site they will honor that.But i have asked and they have not honored.So i guess they not as honorable as they claim they are.

LOL your logic and responses are baffling. Don't flatter yourself, nobody is following you around the site. Nobody is in your face. Nobody cares. YOU are in OUR faces. Posting separate threads once a week for your incomplete games that nobody downloads, then posting every other month that you're done here. The fits and temper tantrums were entertaining at first, but now they're getting old.
I posted once in one of your game threads and once here. All i said was that you love mario, that you'd be better off keeping your games in one thread (apparently you don't understand the benefits of organization and unification), and that your domain name is awkwardly long. Then you reply with insults and obscenities. Because of that, i've had no problem being brutally honest with you.
Keep it up... your reputation is already ruined here, not that it was ever a good one in the first place. Nobody downloaded your games before, do you think they will start after your display of childishness here? Nope.

I suggest that you cool down request the MOD to delete this thread or close it.
Maybe you have the potential to make some really nice games.
But you need patience to make good things and you don;t need to get offended if someone does not like your work.
You need to be more determined to make something even better so that next time everyone likes it.
See if you just go on ranting swears which are not allowed on this forum and neither appreciated by anyone people will not start appreciating you people will only dislike you and then even if you make any good stuff looking at your track record people would not want to try it.
And if you got offended by a MOD's PM you should reply back to him and explain that your just beginning to make games and tell him that please let the game be and you will make a better version soon.
I'm sure he won't be rude to you if you ain't rude to him after all XDA ADMINs have made him a MOD for a reason not just anyone becomes a MOD.
And if you threaten us that you will leave XDA you must realize that this place has got millions of members if 1 leaves i don't even think that anyone will notice that and i will be you who will feel bad.
Hope you understand and hope you don't give me a reply full of swears which the MODs will have to edit.

Ok iam calm now and i figured a very smart solution to this mess. Since it seems i overstayed my welcome and iam tired of this fight.So this is the solution i will post my username and password here.I am going to go through all my threads and delete my comments and games.For all the people who hate me if you log in as me you can go through my threads and delete my stuff tonce this is finished and all my stuff is deleted i will ask moderator to ban the username and then i will be gone from here.After i leave xda-developers will be a better place.My username is public with password so iam no longer liable

Seriously, if you just took a step back and listened to what people say, theres quite a lot that only want to help, or even give you compliments, yet you insist on attacking them or coming back at them as if they said you were horrible.

a new keyboard

i was looking though the touch wiz sys dump and i liked the keyboard so i put it in an update format. Just flash it, i gurantee youll like it. If not just remove it. I included the lwp as well that were posted earlier the lwp from it too, they work great on the phone though, I need someone to test it for me, cus swype is a pain to remove w/o wiping, and i already have all this on my phone. you just need to flash it like a rom. It contains 4lwp and 1keyboard app and their libs...dl the new lwp and kb HERE ​

Any chance of just getting the KB?

no time, sorry. you can rip them out and just install though, just make sure you take the lib files that go with them in your libs folder and the apps in your sys/app or data/app folder.

thanks for testing it and the quick feedback. i stated that it included the lwps in the op. they are from the new touch wiz dump. Ill check to see whats up with swype, just figured id throw it out there for those that didnt see this stuff yet....also, did you remove your old swype completely? or did you not have it? cus its VERY hard to get rid of.....just wondering so i can fix if something wrong.

sorry about that, and thanks.ok, soon as i get home ill post a link to a really sweet htc skinned swype mod. i use the red one in my newest rom, but the green one is slick too. im going to hang out for a little bit, when i get back ill put it up, and just take it out of the other one and ill mess with it, since its a full version.....

You saw something you liked, but didn't test it because its too much work to uninstall what you already have but that's ok because you already have it installed so you need someone else to take a blind leap of faith and install something you "gurantee" they'll like but if they don't that's ok too because they can just uninstall it (which really they can't do easily) but if you want to see what it is in the first place tough luck because you're out and about and have no time to post a screenshot for your own quasi-release?
If I were Canadian, I'd add "Eh?" at the end of that.
I strongly recommend that if you want to be taken seriously, you put a little more thought into your release posts. I applaud you for taking the time to share with the community, but frivolous posting of root-level patches without some form of quality control on your part could lead to a dangerous precedent of buggy and/or malicious code being introduced in the same channels.
I know you probably have the communities best interest at heart, but holding yourself to a higher standard keeps the bar high for the rest of those issuing releases to demonstrate an aptitude for solid documentation so people know precisely what to expect from dedicated contributors.

Do you really think i need YOU or ANYONE else to take ME seriously? my work speaks for itself, i could care less what you think of me, but just dont be disrespectful or snotty about it when you obviously have no clue as to what i do, if you say " which really they can't do easily" when you are speaking about removing a single app.I take it youve never been to dev? cus thats what ive been doing for the past 3 days, is working on my last rom. Then when i finish something that takes more than a day i take a break. I am not a developer nor have i ever claimed to be one.i have many contributions to the site,and taken a **** ton of time making sure my theads for them are maintained and everything i work on i support. Not a blind leap of faith, i have many pps that ASK to test for me because i dont have time to when im working. I have a 8mo old and fiance to take care of as well, this cannot be my ENTIRE life(though i might enjoy that)ive been asked permission to port 4 of my roms to other devices, and about 100 pps i talk to on a regular basis,you can talk to that will tell you another story about what I can DO. ? is what can YOU do? and WHY would you be ragging on someone who makes regular contributions to the site to help members enjoy their newest hardware just a little bit more? you want to see more go to hero-cdma and tell me some more about quality control. Also, that guy apparently doesn't realize how big of an asset you've been to the hero and evo communities. Keep up the great work!

If you took a moment to actually absorb what I posted, you would recognize I did not besmirch your contributions, but was offering a point of constructive criticism.
Regardless of the quality or lack thereof of your "releases", your posts are plagued with you getting into flame wars with people because you feel like you have to defend yourself against any form of critique you don't agree with.

Annoyed with HTC inspire

If there is anyone out there can help me root my HTC inspire 4g. I tried everything and nothing is working. I just want to get rid of these useless apps and better battery life cause right now this phone is useless. Please help

Best thing I can tell you, before you get flamed for that post, is read. Also, you need to be more specific with your issue. If you want someone to hand hold you through the process, your probably not going to find the help you are looking for. Reading and searching are your friends. I am not being mean in anyway. People have gotten flamed in the past for a post like that. First, you didn't say if you've already searched. Second, you mention very little detail of your problem. Third, you don't mention which rooting method you are using and where you are in the process. Just on the last point alone, I think you are trying to have someone walk you through the process. In which case, you don't need to root if you won't take the time to read, read, and read again, and try the process yourself. Not trying to jump on ya, just from your post it seems like you are not even trying to help yourself first. If you have a genuine issue, please, give us more detail to make an effort to help you.

So... The phone is useless as it is? Why would you buy a useless phone?
Because you didnt discover it was useless until it was too late, like, after 31 days of having it?
Don't blame the phone for your inability to do what 90% of the people in these sections of XDA managed to do just fine.
Now, maybe you should go do a little reading.
Then, if, after you've made an honest attempt to figure it out using the plethora of resources at your disposal here, you still run into problems, and are willing to provide a little more insight into the nature of your specific problem, people might be a bit more willing to lend a hand.

Man rooting an inspire is not that hard. You just need to follow directions. Read up on the root methods available watch the videos choose your preferred method read the tutorial and watch the video AGAIN then do it. 99% of the time it will work. I used the hack kit But ive heard bubbys works great too. My inspire was rooted 20 mins after I got it. But I read and watched the videos long before it arrived. It really isnt something you should just decide to do on a whim. You should really understand the process and what each individual step does before attempting.

Oh geeze, here we go, everyone here at xda is omnipitant, not everone knows every aspect of this site, if he/she doesnt know how to root why would you expect them to know where/how to search and what to read if they did, some people do deserve a break hes just frustrated.

Hes right,
The main part of being successful with these devices is everything he said, you really shoud read,read,watch whatever it takes to be totally sure about the process. You must be very careful if its your first time, and at the same time, ive learned, you cant let it intimedate you, it will be much harder and that much easier to mess up. If you do all these things and are still not sure or dont feel right about doing it, find somone close to you that can.

Well, for one thing, if by "omnipitant" you mean *omnipotent*, then you probably *really* meant *omniscient*, so I understand what you meant. I think.
What I don't understand, however, is why you think that someone who doesn't know how to root shouldn't be expected to know how to search for information about rooting.
Perhaps you might better explain to me your logic?

I just think you took the wrong approach at teaching him, there is such a thing as positive reinforcement, hes already frustrated, treating him like hes an idiot will get us all no where, well, most of us. We were all new at some point or another

Think of him as an infant, a new born. He doesnt know any better. I dont think he posted out of frustration, i think it is more of a cry for help.
but besides all that, hopefully we've all learned something today. I know I have.
For years i've thought i knew what "omnipotent" means lol! Learn somethin knew everyday.

Scott has always been helpful to me. And I have always seen him helpful to others that have made the effort to learn and couldn't figure something out. There's a reason his thanks meter is at 52.

Sad thing is though if he searched he would have seen everyone else getting flamed for this exact same question and type of post. Then he would have known better and how to ask the question and seek help. And Scott I'm going to make a damn sticky on how to search. This they didn't know how to search and cant get past the clutter thing isn't an excuse.

coming from the droid incredible and hero before it.. the inspire is alittle more difficult to root. but if u say take 30 mins out of your day its not that bad.. just stay focused and read and go slow and you will be on your way..

Now you guys know him alot more than I do, I even think hes helped me with a few things, one or two of those thanks are prolly from me. but if everyone really feels this way, ill prolly stop defending noobs then, unless its worth the time.

It probably looked like I was jumping on the guy because I was. A little. Thin skins don't do well, here, though.
There's nothing wrong with defending someone, when appropriate, I've done it I think, maybe a total of 3 or 4 times, all cases where a user was unfairly blamed for something or was made to feel like they weren't a worthwhile contributor or called a name because they weren't able to answer someone's question to their satisfaction.
All I'm saying is that XDA is less noob-centric than other forums. That's not to say noobs shouldn't come here to learn...I lost my basic noobness here (and I say basic, 'cause I don't know half the **** some people here do) ... Just that there's an expectation to fulfill some prerequisite familiarization with one's device, and to be at least a little proficient in problem-solving on one's own before posting.

Nothing has been ruined, instead of clicking on the link in the thread that would be posted here, which would take you to his forum, where you would click through another 6 different sub-forums, then find the thread just to get the download link.
Now all you do is just go to his site, instead of clicking on the link that would be in the thread here. He didn't stop developing the rom, he just stopped posting the change log here... OH NO WHAT WILL WEZ DOZ NOW?!?!?
He left, it's done and over with, how about people grow up and stop acting like it's the end of the world. If he had just said "I'm only going to post on my site because I choose to do so" everyone would be calling him an ass. But because someone "made him leave " everyone wants to flame someone who expressed an opinion...

To be fair, it never said on the OP that the ROM would fully wipe, only that it was recommended, that's a big difference. Chingy and the people involved are all immature.
I was trying to decide which ROM to run, BAMF 3.0 or Gingeritis 3D, but Chingy decided for me.

Some may agree some may not but the net is no place for thin skin. It takes little effort to be a keyboard Rambo. In my profession hate is everywhere and when the net was young and AOL 2600 was fast I to was there and little if anything has changed. Many forum have a ban or ignore button to remove users from a thread. I very often use it. (Don't know if xda does or not never needed to look). Many also have mods that stay on top of the threads and remove rif-RAF at will but even then people get upset and argue freespeech. Maybe this dev left cause he was tired of needing to police his thread or maybe other behind the black veil **** was going on and this event was just the last straw for him. But being a old fart Ive hard believing 1 troll ran him him off if in fact it was a normal 'poor me' blah-blah troll. Wipe or no wipe to be fair I've not seen 1 roms listed with out a disclaimer stating that said owner is responsible for said actions of owners phone and I know for fact this dev roms thread stated the same. The fact we all have to be thick skined doesn't mean that anyone has the right to flame and talk **** at will. Also I personally feel the disclaimer works both ways. This means to me that a dev or company or any entity which produces a product must accept that not all are going to always love said product and after all if a hot tub manufacturer must display a warning that if entered you may drown then why should a dev her at xda think that said downloaders are any smarter? No one that gets in a hot tub is that dumb that includes parents allowing kids around said tub unattended. The fact is if any of us produce or even give away anything then we accept that someone is gonna ***** about. If we can't handle that then we do need to take our product else where. However if any person finds this unknown land if milk and honey where all is good and as efficient as Al Gores Jock strap then please post said location here and count me in. Hell I'll even pay to move in.
For any noob that made it this far threw this post of diatribe and potential net manners that don't exist anywhere then your a brave soul so read this slowly. You are responsible for your phone and what you install. Wipe everytime even if not told to do so. If a problem does happen then post and ask for help. But know that someone may flame yer ass when you do. Is it right? No. But it may happen. After all what can said flamed do to you? Nothing really. However if you do allow said flamer to contaminate your pixels with meaningless bits of useless data and thus cause you to respond (much Luke this very post) then the said flamer has in fact won. Many here loved this devs work and while xda didn't make the dev it did help make the dev known and by default his work this means we all owe xda not the other way around. POSTING ones work here is not a right but a privilage leaving xda does hurt us all but it may just may hurt the dev just a wee bit more because of the message it sends to others. Then again maybe I myself am out of line for this view. I'm sure if I am then I'll be told so PDQ.

Chingy made an awesome rom. To bad some a-hole had to piss him off. He's had some bomb ass roms and radio leaks. He will be missed on the XDA for sure.

Not saying that was the situation here, but its happened before.

No doubt, I've only read that a user flashed a rom and got upset because he didn't fully relize/understand the ramifications of the new flash. Chingy didn't seem like an a-hole or diva to me but i didn't investigate his background too much. I just think it sucks to loose a good Dev regardless.

I need to make an apology. Another dev had to do this earlier and now it is my turn.
He was right. We are all a bit angry at people who are posting unnecessary things, but that is no excuse to be rude. I still maintain that this forum has one of the best communities, and I will not let anyone tell me otherwise. I started on this forum in april of this year. That is 4 months ago. Look what I have accomplished. I am nowhere near the level of some of our other devs, but I am so much better than I was then. I WAS a N00B. I was that person with a million questions.
I remember the first time I soft bricked. It was late at night and all of a sudden that beautiful boot animation that I just realized cold be changed started repeating itself after I tried to flash an update to scv5. I panicked. I opened up the lifehacker article on unbricking, posted a new thread with a stupid question, and I started to realize I had no money to buy a new phone. Bottom line is it was the end of the world for me.
But, thanks to all the wonderful people here, i got it fixed. My heartbeat was probably 200 while the fxz flashed, but I got it done
I now bootloop every other day practically. restoring is no problem. ICS was a whole different story, but that is not for here. That is when I had my first hardbrick. but once again thanks to the help of others I am now on scv7 with some mods to it.

Let me start this by saying i am still a N00B, saying that Initially i was also annoyed with all those questions people were asking.. i myself started a new thread trying to clear few basic questions.. but as the time went by realised that the senior community was more harsh than anything else.. the more we teach the more we learn thats what say in my part of the world.. but i believe all is well, all that is needed is that you guys get into serious ICS development once the OTA arrives.. and <3 you guys..

I guess one just has to realise that there are ppl here with different tech capacities. So knowledgeable ppl like u and the other magnificent devs should have a little more patience with us , the eternal the omni present n00bs... u guys are doing a great job !! keep it up!!! We ask stupid questions coz we are scared that the beloved fone will brick...we want to be 10 times sure that flashing will not render it useless...but still we do it ..coz everybody loves a kick!!!! I guess.. my take on this....

Yeah, but on the other side of the coin, if you are on XDA that means you are looking to experiment, you want to try new things, you need a fast and functional ROM or that mod you like so much or simply want to root it and then there are few who are here just to learn.
But for all this you gotta have few attributes
1. Guts
2. Little knowledge
3. Able to go through few threads before starting anything
4. And last but most important, knowing where the search button is.
This still a n00b saying this, dont get me wrong. I am here to learn, i am getting into it slowly but surely. Thanks to the devs.

Well it is really not patients that is the problem that we are all having at the moment. It is the fact that everyone now seems to think they are the ONLY one with a certain problem with x, and rather than posting in the thread that deals with x they make a new thread, and then when you ask why they did not search it is always "I searched, and none of the threads deal with MY exact issue".
The issue with this is that is shows a lack of respect for everyone in here, that might be working on an issue, and that person just bumped another thread that might have that or a similar issue in it, and now everyone is reading that new glowing orange thread on the board.
The next issue is that people have to trust us.
Next, it seems we have a new rash of noobs that don't want to listen and then still post a new thread when their issues is not solved in another thread and then keep bumping that thread if no one replies.
Again these are all thing that show alot of issues and lack of respect to your dev team, we are here to help, but the more you guys all help us, the more we can help you.
P.S. I had to post this same thread a few weeks back, because of all the frustrations as well.... see a pattern here.

I just joined XDA not long ago and I too have noticed a lot of pointless threads. I admit I did post a stupid question before, but I found the answer myself and went back and changed my question. But I did not go and make a new thread about it. I think the issue is A. people are lazy in general, and B. There is so much to try and wrap your head around, and no one wants to brick their device. I only have 1 device and I would love to try experimenting with different ROMs and things, because I am constantly wanting a new phone. I have had the A2 for about 9 months now and I am bored with it. But I have that fear of bricking it and then I am screwed. So for now I will continue to search through different threads and try to learn as much as I possible can before I jump in and try flashing ROMs. I notice some people just try flashing ROMs without really any knowledge then post new threads with the issues that they have. If they would just take the time to read through threads prior to jumping in there would be less of this issue. I just want to Thank all the Devs here that put so much time into all the work they do here!! Definitely the best mobile dev community out there!!

dude i had the same ROM for 9 months before, without a single wipe, and i never got close to bored, the hw buttons messed up so i had to sell. your phone isnt your game console or gf ... its a phone, no offense
