You should try humble 4.22. It's EP3, and has the aosp lockscreen. It's running super smooth for me. Also installed the tegrak overclock tool. Running 1.2 ghz

you could try making a copy of the original one, delete it then push new one and set permissions if its possible.. after that reboot and should work, though its not for sure its just the way I'd do it

U should install the tegrak overclock. Running 1.2 ghz and it flies. Didn't see too much of a battery hit either. Just raise voltage to at least 1300 for that frequency. I didn't mess with the others. Also noop scheduler is really smooth

I'm running Humble 4.22 and I like it, but how did you overclock? It says in the OP to run it with imoseyon's 3.1.0 kernel which can't be overclocked.
You have to change the model number and load the module. its on page like 32 of the humble 4.22 thread. It actually works too

I can't recall with all of the posts lately, but is there a voodoo lagfix for our beloved sgs4g? is there something stopping it from being applied? My coworker just got a charge and has a custom rom and kernel with lagfix already...
Just wondering if i missed something.
Nope, not ported over yet. Do you need it that bad? My phone is flying with the bali kernel coupled with the fugu mod, and if i wanted to OC it to 1.3-5.

I'm sort of experiencing lag as well, but how are you overclocking?
Tegrak wouldn't let me do it, nor would SetCPU. It wouldn't go over 1GHZ.
~little off topic, sorry
u have to have one of the bali kernels installed and then u can use tegrak. Set cpu will not work. I have also applied the fugu fix and have bali 1.4 and Tegrak has me oc'd at 1.3!

Yeah setcpu does work once you've changed the frequencies in tegrak first.
I used tegrak on stock kernel overclocked to 1.4 and was also using set cpu before I flashed bali. All is still working w/ bali even set cpu.

Those using Tegrak, once you changed the settings, did your phone started to vibrate nonstop??? I had to pull out the battery. Did the fugu tweaks, and have latest bali kernel. Is it supposed to vibrate like that?? Thanks for the help

mine did not, i get a vibrate at loading module then when i set the speed i get another vibrate. thats it. what are you trying to OC your phone at?
Mine did the constant vibrate once, although I don't recall what I was doing prior. Holding down the power button forced a reboot. Never happened again.
Also you will need to raise your voltages if you are going to go higher than 1.3 with pro.

I added kernel tweaks from raspdeep's I9000 OC and got our bali kernel to OC, I'm running at 1.2 Ghz right now. I haven't tested this in terms of battery life, but there's a good chance your battery life may be less. So use with caution.
This 1.2 Ghz OC feels smoother and faster than stock, and better and more stable than 1.28Ghz. If you tried the 1.28 and gave up, try this 1.2, it's much better. I removed the link to the 1.28Ghz kernel because it was causing too many problems for everyone, and actually being slower due to freezing and overheating.
Battery life and stability not guaranteed
Use setcpu to control your cpu speed.
Credits to Dr. Honk for bali original, and raspdeep for OC source.
THIS IS FOR KG2 ONLY!
I have flashed this both on stock and on a custom KG2 rom, they both worked.
link removed because it was unstable - 1.28Ghz
Updated 1.2 KERNEL: http://www.multiupload.com/3QPMQY476F
3:55PM 8/3/2011
I provide no guarantees that this will work, make a backup before you try this!
This was really only made for all the kids who kept asking for an OC kernel.
It has been suggested that the 1.2Ghz kernel may be more stable, so I would suggest trying that one instead of the 1.28Ghz kernel
Flashing right now . You beat me too it ;p

I'm going to assume right off the bat you're on an EE4 froyo rom? the safest is 1.4ghz however not many peoples phones (myself included when I was on froyo) will be stable, there were random reboots and lockups galore... You can overclock with that, but personally, why would you use an app to load a module to overclock? You're forcing the system to do something it doesn't want to, which could easily lead to problems.

This is a mostly stock AT&T kernel I've packaged up. Its features include the BLN patch, USB-OTG support and in-kernel NFS and FUSE modules. The ramdisk has been tweaked to support init.d scripts, adb as root and boot animations (on those ROMs that support it - such as my Alien ROM).
I've tried to keep any other changes to a minimum. There is no UV/OC patching, etc as this kernel along with Alien ROM already perform outstanding.
You can grab it here.
Version 0.2 with NLS UTF-8 support is here.
Version 0.3 based on the UCLA3 kernel is here. I recommend you use the UCLA3 modem from here.
If you want to revert to stock AT&T 2.3.6 UCKK1, you can get it here. Thanks to pookieguy for the stock files!
Source is here.

Sent via rooted SkyRocket
Battery life is the best I've seen. I'm running this on Skyrocketeer with the conservative governor set and the screen off frequency set at 192. Unlike Da_G's higher performance kernel, this one keeps the 2nd core offline until there is a heavy load, greatly increasing my battery life. I still get a 6400 score on CF-bench, while overclocked to 1.78 on Da_G's I get around 7800.
NM i got it.

Ktoonzes kt747 jb kernel works on synergy. I was using it myself. Make sure its the 10/31 upload. First have you tried an app to change the settings of the CPU? I found setcpu was giving me issues so I use system tuner now and everything is running smooth. The default setting is lagfree which I have found is kind of laggy. I used system tuner to change my profile to on demand and all is buttery smooth.
