So I love the phone but I just can't stand this battery anymore I'm starting to think t mobile gave me a used battery. Ive tried draining the battery to 0 then charging it to 100 nothing. I tried the restart nothing. I work from 8 to 4 and I start the day with 100 and end with 10 if I'm lucky! As I'm typing this its at 87% and its only 9:04. Running services like app pack car home and such are off wifi is off brightness at 50 and I kill tasks a lot with ATK can someone please give me a step by step on how to calibrate even if I have to mod the phone Thank you =)

I'm having the same issue as well. I just received my phone yesterday and I charged it fully last night and kept it unplugged over night. Overnight it only lost about 3%. But after medium ussage this morning which consisted of checking email/texting/surfing the web, the battery dropped a significant 25% over the course of 40 minutes. Any suggestions?

That kind of behavior is normal. The phone loses very little while idle but checking email and web surfing both require a data connection and that uses a lot of power. More usage = faster battery drain.
My galaxy s would easily last a full day with constant email/text and a couple hours of talk. This phone doesn't even seem to be able to last me a few hours. Do you also experience this significant battery loss?

You prolly need to do a factory reset. For some reason some peoples phones use more power even at idle than they should. My phone was one of them. There is a whole thread about it but pretty much doing a factory reset should correct this issue. Did for me. I get almost twice the battery life of my Galaxy S.

No need to go into recovery to wipe the stats, just use Battery Calibration(requires root) its in the market and also includes instructions on how to use the app.

I had the same problem. I followed the thread below and it worked. I've ben getting 10-15 on moderate-heavy use. I also did the htc battery calibration before I ran the battery calibration app. I use juice defender as well.

Check out the link jsauce75 posted. If you are running stock that means you most likely have background services running that are pulling significant battery. You will need to root and then use titanium backup to either remove or freeze those services.
Before doing that thought I would download Battery Monitor Widget. Use it to see how much power (mA) your phone is using. When I first got mine I was draining battery fast and when I used that widget I learned that the phone was using over 100mA even when idle. It was like the phone would never go into a sleep state. After doing a factory reset my phone idles at 1-2mA.
There isnt much you can do about battery drain while you use the phone because the screen and data connection are huge battery drains. All these tips are to improve your power consumption while idling. As I said before all I have done is factory reset and removed unneeded services and I have been getting double the battery life of my Galaxy S with the exact same apps and usage for weeks now.

1) You said you're using ATK "a lot". This is adding fuel to the fire. ATK is not needed with today's android systems. These apps you see sitting in ATK are sitting dormant. It's like the task manager of a computer. I have 3-4 apps running in my system tray and around 20 other services running in my task manager.. They are all sitting dormant, using zero CPU. They have ram allocated to them. That's it. That's the same as the Android. They are sitting dormant, and they have memory allocated to them. The best thing about the android OS is that it will automatically shut down dormant apps on its own. A PC doesn't do that. So, look at it this way. Let's say I'm on my laptop's battery. I have 20 apps/services running, and they are dormant. They are doing nothing towards drainage of my battery. But, I decide to turn on my screen "a lot" during the day, and kill the apps. Boom... Battery usage for the CPU to turn the screen on, the screen takes away from the battery, usage for the task monitor to be running.. Then, there is a process to shut down the apps, that takes battery.. Then on top of all that.. When the apps restart on their own.. guess what, they have CPU/Battery usage. You're adding fuel to the fire.... a lot of it, imho.
2) Install Watchdog and Titanium Backup (pay the small fee so you can freeze the apps.. or you can learn how to manually remove them yourself. I like using the app). Now, just to prove the point.. Open up ATK... Then go into Watchdog.. You'll see the apps that are running in ATK are not using any CPU. But.. when they do start up/shut down, there is some usage going on that will contribute. So with Titanium backup, freeze the apps. The apps I have frozen: AppPack, Broswer (have dolphin installed instead), Car home (2 of them?), com.android.provider. applications, com.logmein.resecuesecurity and .rescue, email (using gmail instead), My account (2 of them?), nfs shift, nova, street view, tmo TV, tegrazone, telenav, videochat voice dialer, zinio reader, zsprovider. From there, you can see the apps running in watchdog and you don't need ATK.. But, watchdog also uses processor to "monitor" the usage of other apps.. So place the threshold setting at like 40%, and the frequency at 3 or 5min. This will keep Watchdog from using too much battery, but it'll also notify you if an app is running wild on cpu usage. Maybe for 1 day, put the threshold at 30% or maybe even 20%.. so you can see if 1 or 2 apps are using a lot of power. If they are system apps or apps you want.. just leave em be. If they are not, freeze them/uninstall them.
3) I have found that using wifi and wifi calling GREATLY increases my battery life. As soon as I turn on 2g/3g/4g... my battery starts to take a fast dive. Whenever possible, use wifi/wifi calling...
4) Screen down to the lowest brightness setting. Shut off screen manually whneever you are done, or set it to 15sec shut off. I only bump up the brightness when i'm outdoors.. The glare makes the low setting impossible to see the screen.
5) Shut off syncing, bluetooth, and gps unless you need it. If you're around a computer at all where you can get your email and such, there is no need to use the phone for it. I only use tmo's network and syncing when I'm away from work or the house... typically when I'm on the road.
Lastly, yes, some people want to use their phone... use the 4g service.. etc. I understand.. But also understand that if you're going to use the phone like a computer.. and you're going to get 8hrs out of the battery... I say that's pretty dam good. This post is not meant to say that there is nothing wrong w/ the battery... It's to help you out to determine if there is a problem in the first place. There was a guy complaining about battery usage left and right. When I got involved in disussions with him, he admitted that he's on his phone all day long... txting quite a bit. Well.. duh?
I don't doubt there could be some challenges with a bad app running wild, a bad battery, etc. But I also don't doubt there are people who are using the crap out of a dual core phone.. and are doing things themselves to add to the problem... and then they blame the phone.

Thanks for the great detailed response. The OP actually was the one who stated he uses ATK, I don't. I looked through the thread with the recommendations for 20+ hour battery life and noticed that those apps you mentioned above required rooting the phone. I hate to sound so naive when it comes to this stuff but i'm a fairly new android user and have not yet discovered a lot of the technical aspects behind it all. I'm not exactly sure what rooting is and what it entails. Is it something you suggest I do? Also, my battery is slowly approaching 0%. Should I let it drain all the way before charging it again? Others suggested letting it drain all the way and doing a factory reset and that seemed to help their issues.
By default Android restricts certain areas of the OS from being accessed by third-party applications (prolly for security reasons). Only problem is a lot of great apps require such access to function properly. In order to give them that access you must root the phone.

New to android is not an excuse, I was a religious crackberry user for the last 8 years, and I just switched over to android last month. I'd suggest you to root you phone so that you can remove the stock cr4pwares, and the ability to install custom ROMs. Took me 10 mins to figured out how to install andriod OS into my hd2, 25 mins to perm rooted and unlocked my g2(this beast is little bit more "lockdown" than the other), and 5 mins to rooted the g2x. Google is your friend, bud. If you want something more out of your g2x, use the "search" button. Just my 2 cents.

FYI: I'm a first time android user (smartphone user at that..) and I rooted my phone easily. You can unroot your phone just as easy as you rooted it. It's a 1 click method with that software.. check out the link. Seriously, it's easy.
You may have to have ABD ADB or whatever installed first.. Not sure. I heard about it, and did it... and then rooted.. and it worked.

Yesterday I installed Zedge and downloaded one of the wallpapers there. When I applied the wallpaper I noticed a bit of lag on my home screens, so I reverted back to the default wallpaper and the lag was still there. I deleted the app and wallpaper I downloaded but the lag was still there. I applied a default live wallpaper and the lag disappeared and everything was moving as smoothly as it had been originally, but when I apply the regular wallpaper the lag persists. Any ideas?
now if u do root and remove bloatware what all is safe to remove i have all but my account car home and i think one other can anyone provide a definite list and battery is significantly better after just that
LOL think there's not driver issues. Swapped a dead battery with a fully charges one today and been running almost 2 hours still shows 1%

Hello everybody, I notice lately my phone is losing about 10 percent battery life every 2 hours while it is idle. The funny thing is I have data off no text message and made one phone call. I don’t know what’s going on. I am running stock.
The Newest apps I downloaded were comicbook reader, Spotify and Netflix, but that shouldn’t matter right? Because my mobile data is off
that sounds about average to me. since its stock, i would just put Juice Defender on it and leave it set to "balanced", then see where youre at battery wise.
additionally, you could try Watchdog to see if theres any background apps that are consuming a ton of cpu(it can happen)

do you ever charge your phone in your car?
i know when you charge it via a wall charger or your PC, there's overcharge protection so realistically you can leave it "plugged in" as long as you'd like.
apparently though, if it gets fully charged and you still leave it plugged in in your car it can eventually do some damage to the battery and eventually kill it.
i had that happen to my old Galaxy S 4G & when i went to get a new battery they confirmed that that was the culprit.
You need to go into settings/ power/ and uncheck fast reboot . It runs all the time and eats up battery.

no only charge my phone on the wall or PC. Wow I didnt know I can leave my phone plugged I thought my battery would be damaged if I left it plugged in.

fast reboot is not checked in my settings.
phone idle isnt as important as the time it says it's without a signal. if you arent getting a signal, it's looking for one and really really draining the battery

Yep TWS is the biggest culprit of battery drainage on these Android phones. If you're in a poor reception area, you're SOL because the phone will eat through the battery searching for a signal. I have an Epic and have similar battery drain issues due to this.

First, you should seriously consider rooting, then flash a custom rom & kernel. The stock rom is no battery sipper, and custom roms & kernels are much more efficient. I was getting ridiculous overnight drain (>20%) on stock, but now I'm getting only 1% per hour (6-8%). Also, grab Autostarts from the market. It prevents unnecessary apps from launching in the background & wasting battery (& memory)

It'll show in the about stats when you press on the phone usage stats how long it was without a signal if you want to look (in case you weren't aware). Also I would make sure your phone is set to use wifi when sleeping always and not mobile (under wifi settings → press menu → go to advanced).

My mobile data off when I'm at work. So pulled my phone off at 6 am, made one call, checked my email and now I'm down to 93 percent. This is just ridiculous seems like my battery getting worst by the day.
I'm at home now on WiFi...my mobile data is usually off all day at work. Watch dog only alerted me to dolphin browser and I always close that out when I'm finished. I don't know what's going on.

This is not correct. The battery charge is controlled by the phone itself. the battery also has some electronics in it to limit the charge. The car charger provides 5 volts just like any USB port. You can (and I have) leave phone plugged into a car charger with no issues.
It is true that you should avoid charging the phone when it is HOT. So leaving it in a HOT car or any place HOT is a bad idea.
Checked the settings and my phone is using 3% battery life while it is idle. So I shouldn't be losing so much power. Is my battery damaged?
Yep, backing this guy up. The battery has it built in where it'll cut off the charge after it's full- and android has it that after it reaches 100% it'll let it drain down to ~90% because keeping it at 100% for extended periods of time is bad for the battery health.

If you're losing battery life when you're idle you have a few main reasons.
- First check to make sure you have a low min. set for your CPU, you don't want to have your CPU rev'd all the way up all the time- it's just not good.
- Download "spare parts" and check under "battery history" and you'll be able to see if you have a lot of GPS usage, data usage, CPU usage, etc.
- I'm not sure if mobile data turns both 4G and 3G off. I know the 4G here totally demolishes the battery, even more if you don't have it in your area.
If you don't have 4G and would like to save your battery from a painful death, do this (easy to change back)
*#*#4636#*#* -- Go to "Phone Settings" >> change to "CDMA auto (PRL)"
This will turn off 4G and stop it from searching, while still allowing you to use 3G and not have to turn off all data.
Hope at least one of those points helped you out and hope you get some better life because that's pretty bad, shouldn't be normal.

Losing 5%/hour is normal for my phone when it's sitting doing nothing. The battery is a joke. I have Juice Defender Ultimate and that brings it down to maybe 2-3%/hour.
I know I've asked this Q before but can't find the answer and its driving me mad. Google searches turn up the obvious "go into settings>applications>development >screen will never sleep while charging" - The problem is my screen DOES sleep while charging. I had it working for a while but have recently returned to bone stock through a fxz and the screen will NOT stay on while plugged into any type of charge ie; wall wort, computer, car charger etc. Its really a nuisance because I like to have the screen on while driving for easy access to my music widget. Any ideas?

Yes I do. Is that the only way "stay awake" is supposed to work? Seems a bit redundant. I know for whatever reason the phone was behaving differently before I wiped it. I've always set it for a 2 minute time out but if it was plugged in it would stay awake.

Not sure, I always set to "never" timeout because I like the option to put the phone to sleep via power button and at my discretion... still won't stay awake with the timeout settings while charging?
I wiped car dock data, rebooted several times, tried plugging in then ticking off the box, unplugging the ticking off the box... no screen time out, etc. Its not working like it should. I know I had this problem months ago and can't remember what remedied it. Lots of ROMs and tweaks in-between then and now. But bone stock it never worked out of the box if I remember and its not working now that I'm back to stock. Weird. I'm thinking of giving "better battery stats" app a try. This has to have something to do with wakelocks. Any other ideas?

Try Better Battery Stats (I've used that app) or try Watchdog Task Manager to check for wake locks.
[Light bulb goes ON over head] Here's an idea. Maybe there is no official "display" stays on while charging. Maybe the developer setting is to keep the screen/CPU running even with the display off. I've done as you do and set the "display" to never time out. Also I've ticked the box to have the "screen" stay on while charging. It might be my imagination but the display appears to jump to life when turning it on via the power button now while on the charger. There is no delay whatsoever. Does that make sense? Either way, I'm gonna run it like this for a while and test that idea. I usually use the power button to turn off the display anyway instead of letting it time out. I just always liked that auto-off in case i forget to turn it off before pocketing it. Thoughts?

Let me experiment on my phone and see if I see the same things you are. I'll let you know what I find out...
The ONLY way to do what you want is to either do as you did and do a "never" time out, or to go to:
Settings --> Application settings --> Development, then check the Stay awake option.
YOU MUST BE PLUGGED INTO A CHARGER FOR THE ABOVE SETTING TO WORK!!!
I will be 100% honest here, and that I have the HD dock sitting on my desk and when I connect it to the charger on the doc, it NEVER turns the screen off, and I do not have the Stay awake checked in the development menu. I also have my timeout set to 1 min.
Then theres that whole "in pocket detection" thing going on lol. I finally have that working with the current settings. Woohoo! So that means no worry that the display stays on if I somehow forget to use the power button to switch it off. I'm just fine tuning all the features of stock GB and now along comes ICS. Ha-ha.

Achieving perfect powder management always seems a bit elusive for me be it mobile devices, laptops or even some desktops. Then, just when I have it fixed some newly installed app will come along and knock it all off its precarious axis. Here's hoping ICS has better management.

I get 48 hours on a charge with HEAVY use, and tethering since I am at client sites alot, and that means usually no internet for me, unless I wifi tether.
I can go 36 hours and be at 25%, and at 44 hours I am at about 10%. I charge my phone every night if I can, but when I cant, I can squeeze 46-50 hours out, with out changing a thing. I don't play games, nor do I allow adds, have all adds blocked on my phone with a hack to the /etc/hosts file. The ads block is in most of the custom roms in the dev section too.
I am bone stock with root right now, while I work on a few things, so that might change things a little.
right now I am at 18 hours and 40 min. on battery and I am at 85%

thats sounds like me. I charge every night, but it could go longer. I plug it in to my computer so much with development that it always stays high
Do you guys use auto brightness? What battery mode are you using?

Yes automatic brightness, 1 min. screen timeout, my battery is in performance mode.
I am also not overclocked. I have ALL of e-mail checks, and calendar syncs always on and they check about every 5 min, even when on 3g/4g.
Now I will say that if you are in an area that switched between 3g and 4g a lot, that will KILL you battery fast. There is a customer that I go to often and when I am at their building my phone switches between 3g and 4g when I move from office to office, and go to the restroom, and my battery barely lasts all day.

same if you are somewhere with a poor wifi signal that keeps witching on and off
Here in the Florida Boonies we go from 4G to Edge and back over and over again all day...but still, I use my phone moderately heavily, am overclocked to 1200, with everything syncing over whatever data is available and with wifi turned on all day, and I usually only go down around 40% over an 8-9 hour period. Compared to my last phone (Samsung Focus, which had decent battery life elsewhere) that's amazing. I literally had to plug that one in at my desk to make it to lunch down here.
As a matter of fact, while I've been typing this message, I've gone from 4G to Edge, and now it's back on 4G. Crazy system down here.
I've mentioned before that I run a hotel...well the other day, we had an AT&T engineer check in, and I asked her about it. She pulled out her Blackberry and said "I have 5 bars. Get a Blackberry." She wasn't thrilled when I told her that my backup is a Bold 9700, and I have the same problems on it. She said she'd look into it, though, so maybe there's hope.
Seeing how this thread has kinda evolved into a battery/connection topic; do you guys enable background data? I do and I get about 10-12 hours of hard use. I'm listening to music, on these boards, browsing the web, making a few calls, texting etc.

Oh yeah. I literally live where I work, so I have all of my data turned on...I'm never far from a charger. Like I said, I get through the entire day without charging. I call, text, and email constantly. I use it as a music player in my office. It takes voice memos. I take pictures constantly. I'm always reading boards or books in my downtime, etc. Pretty much everything I used to lug a laptop for, I use my phone for now.
I need a tablet. Waiting to hear about the specs for the Asus tablet that's rumored to be one of the upcoming Nexus devices, or their MeMo, assuming that they're different devices at all.
I reported this to moto a long time ago the select is not doing anything when you check the box.
I fixed mine by installing power widget and doing the toggle to stay awake with it then uninstalling it.

I have a Galaxy Note and updated to ICS about a month ago....
Like many of you I also experienced fast battery drain, around 10% or more per hour, without usage. even more when I use it. 5 hours with moderate usage.
I am on unlimited data plan so 4G is always on.
I also tried fully charging the phone before going to bed at 11pm, woke up at 6am and battery already at 20+%, that's when I was sleeping, no use at all.
For a month, I have been charging my phone 2x a day!
I was very frustrated and wanted to go back to GB.
I was researching for weeks for the solution (also, checking for ICS updates almost everyday, waiting to see if Android had found a solution already), no one seemed to have a concrete solution, some suggest resetting, formatting etc.
These were so complicated for me I didn't even dream of doing them.
3 days ago, I accidentally switched off my 4G connection.
I didn't realize that the connection was off..
I was happy to see my battery charge was still at 98% after an hour, after 2 hours, light usage 95%.
"What's happening?"
Then I saw that my 4G was off.
Now, I was thinking 4G connection was the culprit... but I wanted to explore more and see if there was an app that could be causing this....
I checked my apps that used data and nothing was on, then I checked my sync settings, This is where I found out that I had so many accounts that had SYNC ON! Twitter, facebook, gmail, samsung e-mail etc.
So, I tried an experiment.... I stopped SYNCING everything.
It worked!
For one day, maybe 12hrs. (light usage with 4G connection on, just light usage, I checked my gmail by using the refresh button) 75% left on the battery!!! Wow!!
Then I thought "come on...gmail and android? Same owner/company right? I'm going to try to turn ON the GMAIL SYNC, I'm sure there won't be a problem"
I was right!!!
Now on my second day with 4G connection ON, Sync Gmail ON, medium usage, maybe 20-30min of phone calls, 30 or more texts, email and around 10 minutes of internet surfing.
9 hours unplugged and battery only at 70%!!!
I am very happy!
Oh, last night, I think only about 8-10% of battery was used (6 or 7 hours of sleep only 8-10% used....) nice!
For those who have not tried it yet... please try it... I hope it also works for you.
I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully help others that are, i'm sure, also already so frustrated with ICS.

so in other words disabling sync for apps that use networks poorly, over a high power useage radio.
its not really a solution, more of avoiding the problem . I know sync falls under android os in the data usage. which means to disable its bg data disables it all, so the real solution is to apply bg data restrictions to sync list as well to cover all ways of data access.
evidence of this is that Facebook ignores bg data restrictions( no big surprise there)
I think there is something wrong with my twitter app?
maybe I changed my password in my home page but did not change it in my twitter app and the app kept on trying and trying to log in but can't, maybe this caused the fast battery drain?
I didn't check it yet, maybe one of these days, but now, I'm happy... I really don't need to sync twitter all the time anyway.
Guys, check your accounts and sync... let us know what happens.

Try this. My experience is on the AT&T Skyrocket, but from the research I've done both the Skyrocket and Note have the same problem. It's probably your charger.

I have a couple of chargers that cause my phone to never deep sleep after I charge with them. The thing that remedies it is restarting the phone or plugging in to a "working" charger. It's a know issue, there's a dedicated thread in the Note forum where someone pinpoints the issue for the Note.
I researched a lot about battery problems on this phone, so list more specifics (do you always use the same charger, charge to full, apps, widgets, etc) and I'd be glad to help. Also, when you take a screen shot of your battery life like you did, take one of your screen on time as well. Since that's your primary drain, it's a good indicator of how your battery life is. 8 hours of battery life sucks, but it's really good if 4 hours is with the screen on.

the more stuff you have 'on' on your phone, the more battery it will use. hmmm. Do you leave GPS on when your inside a building also?
I think syncing should not be put on auto. Unless on necessary apps like email. And... email only? Facebook and what not social app, keeping track on website when you want to is prolly sufficient. Unnecessary background data mining will without doubt drain the battery.
I will PM all senior mods here on xda and suggest you for 'Elite Developer'...you deserved it like noone else

My tablet uses waaay to much power when its in standby or off. I use my note 10.1 intermittently, so this is frustrating. I cant help but notice that my daughters ipad can last a week on standby with virtually no consumption, but my note will die after a day a nd a half of doing nothing.

get rid of bloatware by rooting your device if you are up for it, bloatware is the main problem for battery drain, also use the power saver option in the settings and make sure the brightness is not on to high, my note last around 3 days on standby so there is something definitely draining your battery.
I'm not rooted and can still get about 3 full days if I'm not using it that much. You can just disable some of the bloatware, but rooting will allow you to remove all of it. If you go to -settings-application manager-all- it'll list all the apps on your phone. If you click on an app you can sometimes disable it. I, for instance disabled, "Google Music, as well as some of the samsung media apps" because I don't use them, but they were still using some of my mobile data.
I also use Juice defender ultimate to regulate wifi when the tab is sleeping. You can adjust how often the tablet will turn on the wifi to sync, then keep it off for the remainder of the time the screen it off. I also have it set to turn on wifi as soon as the screen turns on.
If you go to -settings-battery- you can see the percent that each app is consuming over any time period.
Also if you have a lot of widgets that need to constantly update that may also be part of the problem. While individual widgets are fine, when you have a lot it starts to add up.
You can also get "Wakelock" which tells you what apps are waking your tablet, and "watchdog task manager" to tell you if a particular app is out of control. These two apps will only tell you if a particular app(s) are contributing to the problem not fix it.
If the note is off, which I don't normally do, it'll last about 5-6days. There are a lot of other battery saving tips, but most of those are for when the screen is on.
It's funny, I always hear different things when comparing iWhatever to Androidwhatever, as far as battery life. I hear it both ways from people who have used both. I think with Android it's really dependent on what you have installed, where as with the iPad/iPhone it's more consistent.
One of the things I noticed with people switching for Apple to Android is that with Android you really need to install apps to get it work the way you want it to. With Apple it's ready to go out the the box, but you are forced to do it the way they feel is the correct way to do things. With Android you can get a more customized experience but you have to find the app that will do it through research, and trial and error.

Not normal. Are uou running stock . Any strange stuff running in background. check in settings what is using your battery.
That's not normal at all. My tab has been on connected to wifi for over 3 days and is at 72% remaining. Root, install collective v6, then use better battery stats from the play store and monitor your applications. You probably have a few things like news apps auto refreshkng every 15 min or half hour. Make sure that all apps that have a sync option are set to like 6 hour intervals.
Not much Use over the past Couple days, just my game for a bit And some e-mail but this is what you should be at with light use and mainly stand by. I don't use juice Defender, Or any thing that turns off my wifi / GPs / Bluetooth. Power save is off because it disables the IR Remote app. Auto- Bright, and s-Pen is Always On because I have 3 of them SO I Dont always remove my pen.

Bollocks. So-called "Bloatware" almost certainly has NOTHING to do with this. Other than my kernel, I only run Stock ROMs and no apps I don't actively use ever show up on the battery stats.
Rooting, however, will allow you to run "Better Battery Stats", which will allow you to figure out what app is either preventing wakelocks from letting your device go into "Deep Sleep" mode, or waking it up enough that the drain is kiling your battery.
Also, depending on the AP you're running at home, the "beacons" it sends may be waking up the WiFi stack on your Note all the time- I had this problem with a D-Link AP once. (My custom kernels (search for 'em, once you decide to root) have minimized this problem, BTW.)
One other thing to consider if you have a 3G/LTE version is the radio- not only is it always drawing, but in low-signal areas it will positively murder your battery as it spends a lot of power telling the cell stations where it is.

Reset, if still does it then take back or send for repair.
Mine is stock no root and full of,"bloatware". It will standby over a week or more, and runs on net probably 10 hours. No differnt rom is going to fix your problem.
Lolol my note sits there for weeks at a time on standby and when i pick it up weeks later, it still has 30-50% left...
Bloatware.. Or aliens.. Are causing your battery drain
