[Q] verizon htc tp2 rom update - General Questions and Answers

Please help!
My HTC TP2 freezes at start up with a white screen and the HTC Logo and some details in red at the bottom:
B 80
R 4.49.25.17
G 61.44tc.25.32U
D 1.86.67102
No USB connection can be established.
What happened:
1. Tried to update from original WM 6.1 to WM 6.5 by using the official HTC ROM update utility. Seems like the phone was in pilot mode during the update. the updtae process was completed and i clicked finish. the device was to restart and the white screen problem started.
2. Restarted phone and multicolor screen appeared and stayed. After connecting with USB cable again "USB" appeared at the bottom but cannot connect to the activesync no more
3. Restarted again (by removing the battery and hit power button) and state reached like described above (HTC TP2 freezes at start up with the white screen and the HTC Logo and some details in red at the bottom).
4. Performed a hard reset but did not help.
What can I do to bring the phone back to life?

Help with a brick AT&T/ HTC 8925

I have an AT&T/ HTC 8925 that during flash it stopped and now I have the red, green blue and white screen. I followed the instructions on the screen for recovery and when I remove the battery and re-install it the screen comes back to the multiple color screens. Now even though my computer knows that I plug in the USB and the PDA screen goes from serial to USB, you still can not flash it. Is it a lost cause or is there someone that knows what to do? Help

Broke SDA, miracle required??

So, I have an SDA (unlocked and all) and decided to upgrade to WM 6.1 using Karhoes guide. Everything went smooth and before you know my SDA had a new lease on life. Well, I continued reading on the forums about other WM 6.1 roms and decided that I wanted to get GnatGoSplat's WM 6.1 clean rom. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380554) and this is where all Hell broke loose. I followed the directions and the SDA got stuck on a white screen forever (before I was ever able to run the ROM flash upgrade). So, I took the battery out, bad move I suppose and again I was greeted by the white screen. However, I was able to get into the bootloader so I ran TeraTermPro and did the format BINFS command. At this point things are looking good. Now I get back to the bootloader and I can see the USB connection in the bottom left hand corner and I can hear it connecting to the PC but ActiveSync won't detect it. No biggie, but when I try to do the ROM install I get a connection error. And this is where I am stuck. Can anyone help??? I find it odd that the PC and the phone can connect but I can't update or restore the phone. Help!! TIA.
I had same problem, here is the trick fist step take off the battery and wait for 5 min. second step put the battery back and than press power button at the same time insert the mini usb cable and start pressing the button on left hand corner next to home buttom . try several time , good luck
Is this taking me into the bootloader?
press power button and than wait 1 or 2 second then insert the min usb while the phone boots up to bootloader then keep pressing left hand corner button make sure the usb cable is conected to computer
...and reinstall activesync and check allow usb conection to activesync pictogram.

Polaris 100 fail to boot after HardSPL and winmo 6.5

I'm confused and don't know wat to do.
I cracked ROM with HardSPL and put WinMo 6.5. everything worked well! then I tried to install Manila 2D. It requested a restart and that's it!.
It shows "smart mobility", then the orange booting screen with Windows logo, sounds a beep and switches off.
1) I tried to do Hard reset (with both buttons + stylus) = same thing (shows the resetting bar, requests restart, "smart mobility"-> orange booting screen with Windows logo -> beep -> goes off.
2) I tried with "POLAIMG.nbh" on my FAT32 SDcard = blinks the 3-colorscreen for 1/10 second, restarts -> "smart mobility"-> orange booting screen with Windows logo -> beep -> goes off.
I hawe not even the possibility to connect it via USB to my PC to see what could be the couse or something...
Any idea?

I need help with htc tytn ii

Hello you good people,
I am experiencing a problem on my HTC TYTN II and I would appreciate it if you guys helped me.
I downloaded an application called "Speed Booster" and i installed it on my phone. After
installation the software requested that I soft reset my device which i did, from that point
my phone does not boot up when I press the power button. However, when I plug in a usb to my
phone and connect it to my laptop it boots up,it goes as far as "Smart Mobility" then it
restarts again, goes up to "Smart Mobilty" then restarts again,it keeps on reapeting this.
I should also state when I hold the Camera Button and insert the usb cable, the phone succesfully
goes into Bootloader or Tri-color screen,in the top left corner it says: "KAIS130",
"SPL-1.56.0000" and "CPLD-8".At the botttom it says "USB".And finally I do not know my Radio version
as my phone cant get to that screen that displays the Radio Version.
Please guys how can I get my phone to work again? Am sure its not a big problem as I have never
attempted ROM Upgrading or anything else in that line.
Thanks,
Kelly

[Q] Flashing for warranty return""help""

I am having to return my phone for warranty. I had the mighty rom on the phone. Well i ran the hard spl and than the phone shut off. well when the phone came back on it never went past the original white initial htc screen. I tried to get it to the tri-color screen by holding volume down and the send/end key and it would go to the tri-color screen for a sec than ask me if i want to restore the phone if so press volume up well i did it. and than the phone restarted and still cant get past the HTC initial white screen and you can see all the red lettering come up. and it just sits there forever until i pull the battery out. Plus when i have it connect to my pc and active sync open it does nothing does not connect to active sync i tried to run the MR2 upgdate to take it back to stock rom and well i get an error message to check cable connection because it is not sync with active sync..
i would flash from the sd card. extract the .nbh file from a rom of your choice. named it (rhodimg) insert the sd, then place the device in bootloader mode. that should recover your device system.
hope this help...
