I am having to return my phone for warranty. I had the mighty rom on the phone. Well i ran the hard spl and than the phone shut off. well when the phone came back on it never went past the original white initial htc screen. I tried to get it to the tri-color screen by holding volume down and the send/end key and it would go to the tri-color screen for a sec than ask me if i want to restore the phone if so press volume up well i did it. and than the phone restarted and still cant get past the HTC initial white screen and you can see all the red lettering come up. and it just sits there forever until i pull the battery out. Plus when i have it connect to my pc and active sync open it does nothing does not connect to active sync i tried to run the MR2 upgdate to take it back to stock rom and well i get an error message to check cable connection because it is not sync with active sync..
i would flash from the sd card. extract the .nbh file from a rom of your choice. named it (rhodimg) insert the sd, then place the device in bootloader mode. that should recover your device system.
hope this help...

I've looked all over for the answer to this, and I've tried multiple things but nothing seems to be working. Last night my phone froze (for no apparent reason) so I pulled the battery. The first boot screen came and went but the 2nd doesn't show...it stays blank and then eventually I hear the noise my phone makes when it's fully started up, but the screen is still blank. I have to push menu and the home and call keys a couple of times to get the screen to turn on, and then I can see everything seems to be up in the background, but when I go to unlock my phone it doesn't recognize me pressing the buttons (to unlock the SIM) so I can't get any further. When I do home+power combination, the screen with the triangle and exclamation point comes up, but it won't recognize any of my button presses. I tried to use fastboot to bring it back, and it says everything went through but when it starts back up the same thing happens, it won't recognize me pressing the screen to unlock the phone. It will take maybe the first 2 keys I press..and it will lag while it takes them...but after that it doesn't take anything else. I don't know what to do so if anyone can help or might know what could have happened. Like I said, I was just on the browser last night looking around and it froze so I pulled the battery. Oh and I'm running JF 1.50 if that matters. Thanks guys.
Did you install hardSPL?
If not, maybe you can create a goldcard (search in this forum) and flash the basic system on it again!
I have the SPL for Sapphire ported to Dream.
I might have to take it in to T-Mobile because it boots up and just automatically freezes at the main screen.
The only thing I'm worried about is that I changed the first boot screen so if I do end up having to get a new phone I'm going to have to pay for it
wipe wipe wipe
no need to take it to t mob just wipe take the sd card put it in a sd card reader load up the root/hack rom and go from there no need to take it back cause t mob will tell hell no when they try ro boot it up
I don't know how to wipe it without going through the bootloader and that won't load up.
I also don't know how to flash an update without going through bootloader so I'm stuck.
try this
pull the battery hold down power + home put battery in without taking your fingers off thoses buttons wait till bootloader loads. it happent to me an endless loop everytime i pulled the battery it would power up without touching the battery so thats what i did
Hi, I am STUCK!! My phone (HTC Touch Pro) gets stuck in the soft reset mode. I was able to get it to the tri-color screen, but could not get any further than that. Tried to follow some directions by going through the connections and settings, but it could not find the usb port. I need help, if you could get me past this so I could reset my phone, that would be great!!! I am brand new at this and know nothing. Thanks, Nikki
My red screen says:
RAPH800
SPL-0.36.0000
MicroP-Hermann (LED) v0C85
Green screen says:
MicroP-Hermann (KEY) v0685
PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20
Nothing is in the blue screen
Thanks for any help!!!

Have you flashed anything to it? I'm not that familiar with cdma devices. If the hard reset doesn't work, then try taking the battery out for a while, then putting it back in and hitting the power button. If nothing works, and you haven't done any flashing, just take it back for an exchange.
how to run rom when HTC pro is frozen, won't boot or cuts on n off
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
****DOn't take battery out after hard boot***
1.just watch videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk56olMkCtU and do what they do but dont take battery out. LEAVE phone STUCK on BOOT screen. Nothign else will move or work but you want phone just like that.
2. connect usb cable to active sync. (this may not link up but leave usb connected anyhow) Do not delete phone profile.
3.use rom like Download MightyROM6_Herman.exe avail at: http://www.lilrico.com/Mighty/mightyromblog/?p=454
4 although active sync is still attatched but may not be connecting. It will connect thru usb anyway when you run the rom software. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fV2I2WAFkg4&NR=1
This worked and kept phone from cutting on and off. and restored ROM. don't know about original htc boot. but your phone will work under this rom for now and you can go from there.
help me please i have a unlocked sprint touch pro 2 i flashed a gps rom fix
and now my phone wont turn on i tryed a hard reset and nothing
you see anything on the screen at all?
Tell something moore, what's happening when you try to turn it on, or when you plug usb cable, did you flash HardSpl first?
yea nothing completely dead charge light comes on thats it. its unlocked and have energy rom on it i think i flashed a gsm gps fix and bam bricked.
Easy fix
I did this on Wednesday (flashed the wrong type of ROM onto my Verizon phone).
After a little panic, I found the solution. Take the battery out of the phone, put it back in, and hold down "Volume Down" and "End" (power on) at the same time. The phone boots to its "bootloader" - a screen with two or three color backgrounds that looks sort of like an old school bios screen.
From there, you can connect the USB cable to your PC, and load an appropriate ROM (I used MightyRom because I had trouble finding the EnergyROM for Verizon).
Did you get this figured out?
Did you get this figured out?
Here is how I UN-bricked my Sprint phone..
By the way...I got this from some one else at this site. It worked (sorry I can't give the proper credit who wrote it first)
Copy the file "RHODIMG.nbh" to a memory stick formated at fat32, put it in the phone. (it should be in the directory where your initial ROM install file is on you Windows computer)
1. Phone off (pull the battery)
2. Pressed the power and Volume Down button simultaneously
3. Power on while doing step 2 (I inserted the battery and then did this step)
4. Load ROM by pressing power again
5. Note bootup will be extremely slow, wait for red text, then wait even longer for GUI
6. I waited on screen for a couple of minutes (at least)
Hi,
I have been given an HTC One S to try and rescue the photos from. My friend isn't worried about what state it ends up in to get them.
Problem:
While on holiday he allowed the phone to fill up with pictures and I think he was recording a video when he got a 'memory full' error message.
The phone froze, so he restarted it. On restart it booted, then showed the locksceen for half a second then went blank.
Now the screen is blank and it doesn't matter what combination of keys you press the screen doesn't wake.
If I hold the volume down and power, I'm pretty sure it power cycles, home keys flash and it vibrates.
When it's on and I plug it into a PC it shows up as a DVD drive.
I have had a couple of Samsungs and now a Sony, so I am not a stranger to ADB and Flashtool.
This is a stock phone. No root. No recovery
Repair centre said they would do a factory reset and he would loose everything, so sending it back to HTC isn't a option.
Would appreciate any help or advice.
Thanks
While on vacation my wife dropped her nexus 5 into a toilet in a drunkin stooper, All I'm trying to do is retrieve the photos for now, ill worry about trying to get the phone back to operational after I get some vacation pics off of it.. everything I try to do seems to end up not working or another roadblock.. ill just list step by step what happenned..
-phone dropped in water
-i remove the back cover to remove the battery and seen i need tools and its not easily removed so i left the phone in a bowl of rice for the night.. everything appeared dry on the inside and it wouldnt turn on.
-next day it did power on but the touchscreen was unresponsive, removed battery, reinstalled and a screen appeard that said android is starting and optimizinf app ** of**, would keep nearing the end and powering off on its own for hours.. manually powered off and left for another day in rice..
-plugged in and phone would turn on but would not load, the google sign comes on and gets stuck on those four circles just moving around forever..
-hold the volume down and power button to get in the options screen, try powering off and back on, restarting bootloader and etc to no avail. wiped cache and restarted. still same thing.
-when i try recovery it just goes to android with red exclamation mark.
since i got home.....
-when i connect the phone to computer the mtp? driver wouldnt install correctly
-came to this website...
-installed adb, fastboot, and the universal driver. adb doesnt see the device, fastboot does.
im lost, am i missing something?
phone is still under warranty, is it worth sending in to LG?
