I recently updated my samsung i900 omnia to windows mobile 6.5 and i put a new rom in it
then it was working fine for 6 months until i found a hole at the back of the phone so I stuck a spring in it.
i did not know that it was an antenna hole so I think it has switch to the external antenna and it won't switch back to the internal.
I have Windows Mobile 6.5 on it and the rom ock eclipse
i have tried hard reseting it and soft reseting it but no luck, i even tried to flash it
Please can i have an answer

Hello Everyone,
I'm in need of some assistance to see whether my hardware is bad or not. I have a G3 cid/sim unlocked 8125 that I've been flashing for 2+ years. I recently switched to Tmobile from Cingular/Att. I'm running WM6.1 from It's Right.
As of yesterday I noticed my phone would freeze and then turn to the dreaded WSOD. I was unable to reset using the power button but could through the soft reset button on the side. The phone will either not load all the way or will eventually load up but freeze after a few minutes of use.
Resolutions I have already taken are:
1. Taking out the Tmobile sim. This has made no difference.
2. Reflashing the phone completely. I took it to the base Tmobile 2.26, flashed the 3.08 ipl/spl, flashed the newest WM6.1 From It's Right (TNT.19209+Professional+Wizard+TouchFlo+FREE).
What I have found is still instability. I noticed part of the problem was coming from TimeSync 2.33 so I removed it. The only other programs I have installed that did not come with the rom are:
QuickMenu 2.7
Netfront Browser 3.5 (demo)
Heck the phone just white screened and reset itself while I'm typing this.
BTW none of this has ever happened to me before using the TNT rom's, Mfrazz's roms, Summiter roms, etc... This is a completely new problem that just started yesterday.
Any advise/solutions would be greatly appreciated. If the problem cannot be resolved easily or cheaply I'll be upgrading to a Tilt/Tytn II but I have to justify the cost.
Edit: I'm getting a lot of looks but no replies so I will be posting this in the general forums also.
I have the same issue with tht TNT ROM. I'm downloading the AMP one right now to check if it is of any relevance.
The same happened with the love rom, so it's probably not a rom issue. Are you overclocked by any chance?
When it first started, yes I was over clocking with the newest version of BS.
I figured out what the problem is (fingers crossed). My phone has went through hell and back with the amount of times it has been dropped by my children and myself. The battery cover (extended battery of course) broke and I recently ordered a new one along with some new stylus's.
Well it seems as if the phone's dimensions have changed slightly from all the banging around and I had to change how the ribbon that allows you to remove the battery is positioned.
Instead of either folding it under the battery or having it come over the battery I had to lay the ribbon flat along the phone then place the battery in. Also had to make sure both sides of the sim card are inserted properly. Otherwise it seems as if the battery connection is compromised, therefore the WSOD and soft resets. It still happens occasionally, usually when I place the phone in my holster.
I hope this helps others with similar problems.
The rom is fine. In fact I am yet to have a complaint about it except for the notifications (standard TNT) at reset. I haven't even installed BS yet, but I have put in TimeSync 2.33 with no problems.
I've also went back to SPB shell and ditched S2U2 for now. Not that S2U2 gave me problems. It's just without the new BS skin I missed having the time in big bold #'s and for some reason I can't stand HTC Home. SPB Shell gives me the home buttons and the standby screen.
Oh yeah - I'm very glad I don't have to get a new phone yet since I found out yesterday that TMobile's 3G network will be using the 1700 band and the tytn / tynn II wouldn't give me 3G once the network launches.
I bought a I-MATE JAQ4 from a software developer about 8 months ago. I guess this model never went into production, and the phone is a prototype. I-MATE quit the JAQ line. Oh well.
Anyway, anybody know what alternative OS builds I can install on this thing? I am guessing it is not too much different than the JAQ3, it just has WM6 on it.
Any insightful information about this device would be appreciated.
Thanks.
*bump*.....
Imate Jaq4
I also have a the Imate JAQ4 (which is a prototype) - I have been in touch with Imate (via their site) apparently the model is due for release anytime now in this country.
Try checking out the site for suitable downloads.
The only problem I have now encountered is finding a replacement battery - I had to do a hard reset on my unit and since then the battery wont charge (unless any one out there knows a way to jump start the battery back to life).
Everywhere I have tried that advertise compatable batteries do not seem to carry any stock.
I am not sure what is going on with the I-Mate JAQ4, however...
Isn't the same as the Pharos Traveler M619 (http://www.pharosgps.com/products/proddetail.asp?prod=001%5FPTL619%5F7%2E9&cat=136 )? I got one, pretty good, but slow processor and low memory (very similar to the Dash, at least it seems to me, but with bigger screen, touch screen and gps, )
There currently not much support in the way of firmware upgrades, but they did release version 6.1 a while back.

I am very new in this site, so please bear with me.
I have been using my Xda mini since Jan 2005 continuously without any problem whatsoever (never been upgraded nor serviced). Lately, my Xda Mini often turned itself off everytime I started large sized programs when battery is around 65% or less. It kept on turning itself off over and over again until it was connected to a power source. It would not turn itself off on standby or by opening small sized programs like address book, note, etc.
I just found out about Cotulla WinMo 6.1 ROM by accident about a month ago. Hoping the new ROM will fix my problem, I finally downloaded Radio 1.12 + Cotulla ROM 3.04 + Feature Pack 3. I flashed them on without any problem and my Xda Mini ran quite well on WinMo 6.1. Only problems were battery max at 80%, Bluetooth connection, unsuccessful setting to MMS/GPRS, battery drained faster than before and it was noticably warmer even when underclocked.
After 1 week on new ROM, there was static noise were heard on every calls, then signal was lost completely. After 2 days of static noise, it kept on searching for signal unsuccessfully. Other function still worked, so it became just a PDA without phone feature. The next day, the sound on speakers went out.
I flashed it back to its original WinMo 2003 SE, but unfortunately it still couldn't get any signal or any sound. So I removed the SIM card and inserted to a Nokia and got a "SIM card error" message. After cleaning it up, SIM card worked well on Nokia phone with full signal. I put the same SIM card back in Xda Mini, but still could not get any signal nor sound.
Strangely enough, the next day I tried my Xda Mini again and it got signal!!! Since it didn't have any sound, I had to use handfree cable for all calls. The sound came back on the same day after I disconnected the handfree.
Now it is back to normal, working as well as before. I do not know exactly what happened and why it happened, but I figure I better post my experience just incase anyone had experienced the same problem with me. Don't throw them away yet, as it just may spring back into life.
Original Windows 2003SE ROM

I've recently acquired this smartphone, but was left disappointed when I realized it had no GPS software with it. What should I put on it, seeing as how it doesn't have touchscreen and quite a small screen resolution. GPS isn't my strongest side, so I'd like an advice on which software I should install on it.
I've tried Garmin (multiple versions) and iGO 8 so far, nothing seemed to work, even though I found that IGO 8 should work on 320x320 device, but still it keeps coming up with some error.
Surely there are other B7330 users out there who had same problems as I?
Come on guys, you're my last hope.
Hey guys, I bought a new Redmi Note 7 Pro from HKGoldway recently. The phone arrived undamaged but the simcard's I've tried to use go into a constant connect and disconnect loop. HKGoldway never helped me out so I lost my money on it.
I believe it's a hardware issue as I've factory reset, tried different sims, rom updates and changing radio settings.
Has anyone had an issue like this and was it fixable? Or should I just bin this phone as it's pretty much just a small tablet without it's cellular feature.
Video of the issue here:
