call ups... i did give them your tracking number... mine wasnt showing up on their website either till i called the and asked..
if they say they dont have the package yet then call tmobile!
hope it comes today! (ups delivers till 9pm in some areas so hold tight and make some phone calls!)

I did. T-mobile has no clue whats going on. The agent told me that I should receive it by the 25th. Then said because I got the txt I should receive it by the end of the day. So basically anytime between now and the 25th. :-(
As for UPS, did you talk to a live operator? I just said my tracking number into the phone.

I don't know why you couldn't just wait until Wednesday and walk into a store to buy one. All this headache just to maybe get it one day ahead of time is pointless.

Yea, I haven't been under contract with T-Mobile for 2 years and when I called them over the weekend to discuss this phone, they told me they would knock $100 off the price if I did a upgrade to extend my contact 2 years. I just can't stand the fact of being locked into any service provider for 2 years especially one that might not even exist in 1 year. I just upgrade my phone every 6 months by selling my old ones on EBAY. If you do it like this then you only end up paying $200 for new devices and never have to sign another contract.

Got mine at noon. Just opened it but I still don't know how to feel about it. Feels...different. I had N1 NS and now G2x but there hasn't been any WOW moments yet...hopefully when i boot up NFS or Dungeon Defenders i'll be wowed, not putting my NS up for sale quite yet...

im sorry you dont seem to like it... trust me a rom will make all your "ehh" moments go away... remember its a "PURE" android phone..... kinda bland but still got alot of horsepower
my turbo AWD talon is completely STOCK on the out side but the motor is built to high heaven pushing close to 450 Whp..... same thing with this phone! SLEEPER is the term.... i like the stock sleeper look vs a **** built honda with a 500 dollar body kit and a gook flute.........( best comparison i can make atm lol)

I ordered Friday at 10am online. Showed Monday delivery. Standard shipping.
Monday came and no UPS update. I called Tmobile and they said it was shipped Saturday. I called UPS and they said nothing was picked up. I called back to Tmo and they said it wasn't shipped because the phone wasn't due out until Wednesday and those were only pre-orders.
After I cancelled my online order over the phone, 20 minutes later UPS updated and showed it was scheduled for Tuesday delivery. I have it now.
UPS said that they don't pickup Ground packages until the next business day. So if anyone ordered with standard ground, it wasn't shipped out until last night. I live 1 hour away from where it was shipped hence why it might have been a speedy delivery.
I have it now and its awesome. I came from an N1. Finally Maps is working fully and 3D games are finally enjoyable.
I'd say if you don't have it by now, call and cancel the order and pick one up tomorrow at a store.

I just got my phone today and I have 1 bar of signal strength in a fairly populated city where I normally have good coverage. I've tried everything, even the wifi application, with a 50 MB download, all to no avail. Is there a way to force this thing to ride on AT&T? TMO's signal just isn't cutting it.

Does any one have an idea when we can psychically buy a transformer in a store?

I have loose reports that Best Buy is getting a "full tablet assortment" in May. (By loose reports I mean hearsay from a Best Buy Mobile manager.) My best guess would be next week or the one after.

I actually got my Transformer yesterday from a physical store in CA -- Frys Electronics.

I got mine from a B&M Frys store yesterday too, but I don't think it's gonna help since as far as I know the stores that had them only have *ONE* each.
I was there at 8:20 and when I was at the counter getting the papers printed, someone else was asking for it.

Surprisingly I picked up mine today at the Tempe, AZ Fry's store. Just saw it online around noon and ordered it for an in-store pickup.
Then I was nervous for the next few hours I had to stay at work hoping it wasn't a mistake or they wouldn't accidentally give it to someone else. But I got to Fry's and held my breath at the counter and it felt like it took her forever to retrieve it, but she finally came back with it in hand.
I thought for sure I was screwed and might be waiting weeks for this thing to come in stock since I'm not the type of person to spam F5 on NewEgg at 3 oclock in the morning or get in a line at a retail store (like the Apple folks do). Think I just got really lucky this time I guess. It was the last one at the store.

I was excited.

I've been to bb today and the guy who couldn't tell me specific details buy he did say they are changing the desktop space for tablets and in may they will definitely have all tablets... I think it's true they are pushing the playbook hard so they probably have to give it a exclusive launch schedule till may... gonna be a hot summer!

I've been trying to get a date out of my two local Best Buy shops and the best I have been able to get is a single sales girl who said they got an email yesterday morning that said BBY would not receive them until mid May. That's these two stores at least.
I'm still going to bug the crap out of them though until I get one because without a date in their system it can still arrive tomorrow.

Let me guess...Because the G2X is being discontinued they are giving you a Sensation for a warranty exchange right? If that's it, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. The Sensation is the only comparable phone TMO has, it makes sense to me. If so, you are sooooo stoked!

Dude... You know this is the sensation forum right? I'd they exchanged it, congratulations. Unfortunately the sense ui on the sensation will leave you wondering if the g2x is actually the king here. After root and fully unlocked bootloader? We all know what happens then...

If you bothered reading any prior posts then you would realize that I already own a Sensation and a G2X so I have experience with both of them as I have been switching back and forth between the two for the past 3 days.

OK, I just thought to myself that I'm not going to **** up my deal T-Mobile gave me due to my account having extenuating circumstances. Here goes....
On June 11th I called T-Mobile and told them I was on my 4th G2X and was having problems with it since I wanted to exchange it for a Sensation. The rep I talked to in customer retention told me there was no comparable devices to the G2X at the time but told me about a phone named the Sensation coming out on the 15th and that it would be a comparable exchange. He continued to notate my account and told me to call back after the 15th for the exchange. In between that time I went out and bought one with the intentions of seeing which phone I liked better before I exchanged my G2X. I decided I like the Sensation better so I gave it to my wife. Turns out she likes the Sensation better as well so when I called T-Mobile yesterday the person I talked to said there was no possible way for her to do the exchange but she did in fact see the notations on my account. She told me she would send an email to the guy who notated my account with "Exchange G2X for Sensation" and have him call me today. He never called so I just called T-Mobile and spoke with someone else. After explaining them the entire story he put me on hold for 10 minutes so he could speak with his supervisor. He came back and said something I wasn't expecting. He told me when I called on the 11th I was still within my buyers remorse period but the original representative I talked to failed to do the return and told me to wait until the 15th . I am now outside of my buyers remorse period so T-Mobile is eating the cost and sending me the Sensation. I asked the representative if I should return the G2X with all of it's accessories in it's original box and at this point he said the unthinkable. Nope, don't bother sending it back. There's really nothing we can do with it since the manufacturer wont take it back since it's past the 30 day period. So now I have 2 Sensations and one G2X. I am still trying to comprehend just how awesome T-Mobiles customer service is.

I had a completely opposite experience with their customer service today. I talked to 5 different people (around 2 hours total time spent with holding and all) about getting the SENSATION50 discount since I was unable to online and they weren't able to do anything for me at all. I've been a loyal customer for almost 6 years and it really puzzled me how they didn't offer me any sort of discount for all my troubles. I'm glad you got some better reps to help you out, though.

So you paid 250 for a G2X, 250 for a sensation, then got a free sensation? So $500 and 2 upgrades for 3 phones. Not bad man, congratulations on the super deal. I had a similar awesomeness regarding this phone. I won't go into too much detail, but I bought a G2X for 250, there was a return/exchange /error, so T-Mobile refunded my money etc., gave me a new G2X, and gave me back my upgrade, then I went and bought a Sensation for 150 on contract. So I paid 150 and one upgrade for two phones.

I paid retail price for the G2X and paid through an upgrade on my wife's account for one of the Sensations. On her upgrade, T-Mobile gave me the full discount with 10 months to go which is another plus for there customer service. My account is still out of contract. You made off pretty good too.

It's not that there not excepting returns for the G2X. It's just that they can't send mine back to LG since it's outside of 30 days.

I called in because my replacement g2x was defective and I was told by the rep that g2x was no longer backordered. I even asked her specifically and she told me that I guess they got new stock? Anyone else call in today that can verify?

It's been back in stock for the past few days. I got two overnighted in a span of two days. No backordered notifications whatsoever.

Spoke to a rep yesterday. All i want is a battery replacement. He said it was backorder. And I got text this morning my battery shipped. I was told there was delay on battery because the G2X is back-order.
Found it strange that I got notification that item shipped. On my account website is said replacement. I really hope its not a G2X. I just want a battery. I'll report back what happens

I ordered a replacement battery last night. The email I received has this line item listed:
EXCH LG BATTERY FL-53HN EXCH LG BATTERY FL-53HN
Did they tell you that you had to play a shipping charge for the battery? I talked to two "managers" and they said they couldn't waive the shipping charge. I don't see a charge to my account yet though. The whole thing just seems weird to me. I never heard of having to pay anything for a replacement under warranty.

I agree with the theory that the G2X is about to be dropped by Tmo. When I spoke last week to someone from the presidents office about my situation, the person I spoke with implied no less. I definately left the conversation thinking tmobile is dropping the G2X. Of course they never actually SAID it. Really. I could have misinterpreted what they were saying, but it seemed clear at the time.
What HAS struck me is the unevenness in the way Tmo is treating everyone. Looks like they are doing as little or as much as it takes. But some of the experiences I'm reading about are completely different than mine. I've been treated very well in the end by Tmo. I love them compared to Sprint and MetroPCS. I'm a very squeeky wheel for sure though.
That said, although I thought I was promised a refurbed one in an ORIGINAL box (that is specifically what I asked for)this time, I received a refurb with the most ridiculous two piece sticker over the screen. It was in the same white unmarked shipping box that I've been receiving the other returns in. This one had all the accessories including a cover, but it wasn't what I wanted.....I have not had a working phone since day one and really really resent no longer having a matching box.
This fifth one, knock on my wooden head, seems good though! It is the first one that is an acknowleged refurb. No reboots in two days, and data has worked great. I had almost forgotten that my fourth one, as well as the other issues, also had a washed out screen with the whites looking darker. When I turned on this fifth one side by side, it was very obvious. The whites on number five are brighter and several shades lighter....very obvious.
And it's the same as my third one in that the screen bleed either goes all the way across the top or isn't there. LOL, it depends on your perspective. I think it isn't there, my wife says it is. Regardless, it is way better than the last one!

So I'm very happy as of now. I've said all along that all I want is a good one.
But I'm still pretty bummed to not have a matching box.
I put my Sensation up for Sale and then promptly took it off.......don't wanna jinx things. Might need it for backup. But I sure do prefer the G2X and I hope it keeps working for me....
But I do think T Mobile will be dumping the G2X. Hope I'm wrong.

Well it's just an opinion. But really think about it. If it is (worst case?)Sept or later until an update and they are having the big problems we've heard fixing it, why would they keep selling it? Makes no sense. We all know it's a great phone, but they can't continue this way until Sept. or longer. That is a long time. They have to sell reliable phones.
Not a conspiracy theory as much as common sense really IMHO.

I talked with some reps at 2 local stores and they said they have some in stock but have not sold any in the last 2 weeks. One of them also said he's had about 5 people come back and exchange it for something else so he's not even reccomending it any more. That right there tells me Tmobile was lying about the reason for the price increase. Think about it. Why would they charge $250 for a phone that's worth $500 when there selling the Sensation for $200 and its worth $550. I asked what sold more and he said the Sensation is selling much better than the G2X ever did.

Did you quote the wrong post or did you not comprehend what I said. I didn't say either rep told me what Tmobile is doing. Both of them told me what's going on in there particular stores. I was simply proposing a question as to why the G2X had a increase in price when its worth less (retail) than the Sensation. So my question to you would be, what exactly did I state to be a fact in my post?

That's my opinion that Tmobile is lying. I didn't state it as fact. I simply proposed a question as to why they raised the price of the G2X.

So I just got my 3rd g2x sent to me and thisbone appeared to be brand new. All the original plastics no finger prints...nothing. even the plastic on the lock screen. GPS works perfectly very little light leakage. No reboots so far...hmmm. maybe they fixed them or made new ones?

The odds of them dropping the G2x are about zero or twice that. The phone flew off the shelves. You have ultimate perfectionist trying to exchange their phones 5 or more times just to get the perfect G2x in their minds.
The 2.3 release is coming with a ton of fixes for the phone. Yes it is late, the G2x has enough hardware to keep it a current item for a year at least.
If you have enthusiasts going to all sorts of extremes to get G2x's, going exchange crazy....you have to see the desire for this phone.
All these G2x customers need to do is walk away from the G2x...instead they want their marriage to work out. Why would T-Mobile drop that phone. Why? Yes they will fix the software, but dropping the phone is a crack pipe dream.

The two stores near my house have a stock of G2X's and haven't sold any in the past 2 weeks. I know its just two stores but you would think if there flying off the shelves, they would be doing the same there. Like I said in a previous post. Both stores told me they had multiple G2Xs come back and exchange it for another phone so its not just the perfectionist doing it. I would think that if someone has a phone that turns off on them, most likely there going to return it. I don't think those people are returning for screen bleed but you get the picture

If Ashurion is out of stock of your phone, they will replace it with another 4g phone if you ask.
My brother's Fascinate broke a couple months ago, they replaced it with a brand new Droid X2 just a week after it came out.
I'd recommend aiming for the Bionic.

yeah they'll replace it with another. it's a shame you didn't "damage" it until after the launch of the 3 new ones.

Honestly, asurion is gonna charge you 90 bucks to replace it.
And a new digitizer is only 30. I have gotten ripped off by asurion too many times.

I can't believe people still pay for insurance. It's a scam and way too expensive for the service they provide.

Plus deductible. If you drop a phone and truly break it, it's probably because you didnt have a proper case on a $600 item. But most breaks occur to the digitizer....$30 and extremely easy to fix. Your local mom and pop computer shops will throw those things in for you for less than your deductible.
I'm not trying to knock anyone for paying for insurance...but those companies aren't in it to lose money. And everyone forgets about their warranty. We've sent a couple phones back for repairs and get them back within 3 days of HTC receiving them.
But losing a $600 phone...well that would be the only good thing I can see coming out of it. But cmon...if you lose a $600 phone from being careless ya kind of get what you deserve. Laptops cost less than that now. Gotta hold yourself to some kind of responsibility.

Well, I got my replacement, all is well. Sure, 99 sucks, but got to keep the battery and memory card, so now I have two of each, put the memory card in my flyer.

Can I take it that you got another T-Bolt back? I am in no hurry to split with it although if it breaks in a years time and I am able to get something better the Insurance will be worth it.
Note: I have never used my insurance since I got it on my OG droid.

If you weren't a Bears fan, I would be deeply saddened by this, but the Buccaneers fan in me laughs out loud.
j/k...bummer your screen broke. Glad you got your replacement already!

Well now that you got your replacement phone, this would be a good time for you to do one of those screen replacement kits so that you have a backup phone and then you might decide to even drop your insurance on your current phone to save $$$.

You don't get to keep the old phone, you have to send that back. Otherwise, definately would have fixed the screen and kept as back up.
