[Q] Need Help. ClockMod crashed. - Defy Android Development

Hi @all,
i have rooted my Defy (stock / no branding) with z4root and installed clockmod. Everything worked fine. Then i installed CyanogenMod 7 (great one ;-) and nothing was wrong. Only the market wasnt installed. So i tried a factoryreset (worked well) via clockmod and tryed to install the rom again. But than it happend KABOOM.
Androind BootMenu sais when loading Clockmod Error in /system/bootmenu/script/recovery.sh (status 255). And nohting works. Only the Stock bootloader looks like he is woking well. But i cant find a stock "update.zip" rom to download.
Anybody has one? Or any idea for me?

[Help] Can't access clockwordmod recovery

I'm having a problem right after installing the bootstrap recovery. When I restart my device, I'm stucked in a black screen right after the Motorola logo, which should appear CWM. The first time I tried this ROM, everything funcionoou perfectly, however, after I returned to the Stock Rom Froyo, can no longer enter into boostrap recovery or Clockwork Recovery.
I just tried a Wipe Data/Cache before this operation.
My device its rooted with z4root. Its ok about that.
Anyone can help me!!!
Install 2.2.2 again, and make full wipe from moto recovery.

Dude, like i said, i do this twice and reflash sbf 2.3 again too.
Dont know, you could try another 2.2.2 sbf. I have the same problem, and after trying many times, it worked.

Dude, i have tried installing other rom, like a branded movistar, but not sucess with this...
You need to root a fresh install of a 2.2(.2) ROM with SuperOneClick. z4root is unreliable. After that install Droid2 Bootstrap and Bootstrap Recovery. After that you'll have CWM back.

Never tried SuperOneClick but have heard it is good from friends with other phones. I used GingerBreak with 100% success. However, only had bad experience with Z4Root, like it would freeze while rooting then when it did "complete" the root process my phone wasn't actually rooted.
So I recommend GingerBreak, but also have been hearing great reports about SuperOneClick too.

I think no..I tried to do it with rom manager and then went black..
Well, I have LG p500 and, if happens something like happened to you, I always use KDZ_FW_Updater to update to stock ROM. It helps. If not, then I do reset to factory defaults and everything is ok then!

Hello nanchang china!
i want to know if you know ... i upgraded to 4.0.3 by flashing the entire rom and kernal at the same time with Heimdall!
Heimdall has terrible support now - and my phone never boots when i try to root it ... i tried the oneclick root - the doom guy root method - flashing cwm - and flashing Kernals stops my phone booting - and one click methods just don't do anything when they complete!
So i tried ALL rooting methods and none work!
Should i go back to 2.3.6 and try doing it again from there?
Then i can upgrade once i'm rooted?
Or do i upgrade and then root again?
i'm so confused ....
At least i got my WIFI back by clearing out my cashe
But can i flash a complete 2.3.6 rom all in one go ?
Then what do i do from there?
THanks

[Q] Clockworkmod recovery for spice mi410

Hi all i tried to use Rom manager to flash my Spice mi 410 for the first time. I wanted to install ice cream sandwhich, jelly bean etc on my phhone by using various custom roms available here. I was very excited and watched youtube videos about how to do it and followed each step like clearing cache, dalvik etc. When i started Rom manager it said i needed clockwork mod , i then saw its list but my phone wasn't listed , then i searched google endlessly and found a version 4 for the phone , i copied it and made backup and then flashed my phone, the update ended with success message but when i restarted it it got stuck in boot loop, then again i searched internet ; someone said it could be because of wrong version of clckwork mod so then i fond a version 5 for my phone when i copied it , it still showd a version 4 in rom manager but whwn i go to recovery mode there a version 5 is written. So now also whichever rom i install it installs perfectly but gets stuck in a boot loop. i have no idea where i might be wrong!
Sorry for being verbose but i am frustrated here as its my first time flashing but even after following all iinstructions i get no result. (And why the hell Rom manager couldn't automatically found a clockworkmod for a phone or use a single file for every model!! ) Please if you can five link to a valid clockworkmod recovery file for spice mi410 then i would really appreciate it or if you have any advice or suggestion please do tell thanks a lot.
I don't know when i will be able to taste ice cream sandwhich

cwm
I don't know how to install CWM too
Maybe it is an error or something.
I didnt install it so I dont know anything about it.
Anyway you can try to install ICS
Hope it works.
Oh and btw you should flash it via fastboot. With fastboot you are sure that it installed ok because you flash it manually.
Hope this helps .

Sorry for a noob question...but what happens if something wrong happens with fastboot? will i still be able to restore it with CWM?
Well if the fastboot flash doesnt work your phone will boot into fast boot mode so that means you can flash your old version of cwm back .

[Q] Moto RAZR XT910 - Not able to Flash

Hello Guys,
I installed JB leak in my Moto RAZR xt910 and was using till now,
And i didnt have any CWM Recovery installed in mine, so to install that , i tried a thread from xda ( cant remember which one )
It was "RazerTouchBlack.apk" . after installing that and trying to install CWM, my phone showed error " Encryption Unsuccessful" and was not able to proceed further.
Then i decided to Flash it with stock ROM, tried several ROM's with RSD Lite.
For every ROM , It fails at "cdt.bin_signed" -> PHONE returned FAIL
What am i supposed to do ?
I just want my phone back alive.
