I think no..I tried to do it with rom manager and then went black..

Well, I have LG p500 and, if happens something like happened to you, I always use KDZ_FW_Updater to update to stock ROM. It helps. If not, then I do reset to factory defaults and everything is ok then!

While I'm not sure what causes this, I have experienced it. The first thing you're going to want to do is do a true flash of Clockwork Mod Recovery; all ROM Manager did was a fake flash. Meaning you can't get to CWM with your phone the way it is now. You're going to want NVFlash, it's a tool that will let you communicate with your phone's processor itself and, once CWM is truely flashed, will let you boot into it by holding power+volume down. If you try this right now, nothing will happen.
So flash CWM with NVFlash, then boot into recovery like I told you, then restore a Nandroid backup. If you don't have one, use this stock one: Link. Then just re-install CM7 and enjoy.

Are you sure it was actually a boot loop? The first boot after you install a new rom can take a couple of minutes or more.
Also before you installed the rom did you do a full wipe?
This is like the 50th time someone has posted about bootlooping after cm7 flash from cwm. Nvflash wipe n flash ppls!

Agreed. People... you should not be flashing roms if you cannot follow directions. Theres a huge warning saying to install clockwork recovery with NVflash before installing this ROM. To the OP... follow the directions to install the latest NVflash Clockwork and you should be able to restore through recovery. I bet you didnt even make a backup before flashing.

I think part of the problem is in the instructions Cyanogen posted for installing the release candidate. He recommends using rom manager, which works just fine. But what the instructions don't say is that if you get stuck in a boot loop you won't be able to get into recover unless you used nvflash. He comments later in his post that you need to have flashed it once as a fail safe but not everyone is going to read that far.
I think there should be a warning in his instructions that unless you nvflash recovery there is no guarantee you'll be able to get into recovery if you have any issues.

Sounds like an bootloop, just odin back to stock and try again.
If you remove the battery and turn it back on, will it boot into recovery?

Someone already told you what to do. Find a stock ROM, boot up Odin and flash.
the roms you tried work with TWRP... ive used TWRP since release

I don't think they work with TWRP. They will flash fine but they wont boot. I had the same problem as the OP when i flashed them. I guessing its because they aren't setup for unlocked phones yet. OP all you need to do is wipe using TWRP then flash the cyanogen mod 10 leak posted by CVPS. Make sure you flash gapps and you will be good to go.
Locked or unlocked phone shouldn't matter as far as the Rom is concerned, it's been stated many times that the kexec kernels will boot fine on an unlocked phone. I would suggest starting fresh, stock ODIN, root, unlock, then flash CWM 6.0.1.0 with ez recovery and go from there.
Some people are not having any issues with the touch recoveries and others are, in my experience the CWM recovery has been the most stable and I could really care less about "touching" my recovery, buttons do the same thing. Just my 0.02

1-grab a stock image...chose anyone you want in these forums..some are even prerooted.....i personally got competely back to stock
2-i use the one click root method..so root
3-flash cmw...any version you want as long as it is made for your model phone.....you can use e-z recovery app from market
4-MAKE A ****ING BACKUP!!! very important...
5-download e-z unlock from the play market..use...and done..now you are stock, rooted, unlock bootloader......if you plan on flashing cm10 or aokp or aosp....please make sure to read the thread "how to backup your imei" before flashing any of those roms.............boom goes the dynamite:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:.............................

Kexec roms don't but synergy should have. I use twrp and Synergy no problem. There isn't anything special that has to be setup for an unlocked bootloader.
Op you should be able to flash any non kexec rom. Did you do a wipe factory reset? If not you may want to give that a try

missing recovery

ive been reading for weeks and am ready to start flashing roms and recoverys but i come to find out that i cant get into stock recovery. the phone looks like its going into recovery mode then it shows an android guy with a "!" then reboots normally... can i flash a new recovery without using the stock one. or how can i restore the stock recovery? ive been reading for hours and hours and cant find anything helpfull on the web... im using lg ally with 2.2.2 rooted with gingerbreak. i posted at an lg ally forum but no one answers since the phones so old i guess.. please help cuz im about to smash this thing against my head
i managed to get it working or i thought i did.. it let me download it in rom manager after i clicked "fix permissions" it booted into recovery but when i booted out and tried it again it wont boot into recovery again, yet rom manager thinks that CWM is installed... i dont get it
clear data of rom manager and try flashing recovery again...

i ended up getting it working after i did it one more time. thanks

Brother may have messed up my phone!

Hey everyone,
My little brother is trying to learn more things about mobile devices and wanted to have a go at my old piece of junk, stock optimus one p500h. So i let him have a go and now it's not working so here is the problem.
First he rooted it and that worked fine with gingeroot and then proceeded to install romanager which bricked the phone but he was able to recover the phone with a recovery.img and using LGMDP-v1.5 and emergency mode.
After that he installed some android system recovery thing "RA-thunderg-1.2.0-gnn" not sure what the software was originally, regardless he tried flashing from the flash from zip from sdcard and used a cyanogenmod zip which he said worked and then the phone said success and rebooted.
Now the phone just sits at the cyanogenmod loading screen and will not boot.
I am able to get into the recovery menu with home, down and power and emergency mode also works.
Where did he go wrong and what does he need to do in order to get this to work properly? Thanks for your help everyone and sorry if the post is a bit disjointed i'm trying to translate what he's saying into the post xD

If running a Windows PC and the device can boot in to fastboot, you can use Android Flash Recovery ( link in my signature ) to flash another recovery image. There are some more complicated ways using ADB, but well try to avoid them ATM You can also use LGMDP to flash a different recovery image. There are several floating around here at XDA.
As for where he went wrong, I cannot say. Piece of advice, if in doubt - don't do it.
Have you tried booting to recovery and wiping cache and dalvik cache then attempt to boot to Andorid?

thanks for the fast reply, looks like recovery is gone now? I had attempted to clear the cache though. Would you mind giving me a step by step as im unsure of what i need to do now xD not sure what i need downloaded or to do what with what after my brothers done all this haha
Just flash a recovery from LGMDP for your phone.. then download a rom for your phone and wipe everything in recovery and flash the rom
And do not flash stock rom from kdz or lgmdp if you cannot boot your phone. It has high chances of bricking

Cm7(except a very old one from mik_os), stock gb and up requires new baseband. You can search for baseband fix and install through recovery ( I don't remember if it's old bb fix or new bb fix, try for yourself )
You can also search how to install new bb permanently but it's more difficult and has(I think) chances of bricking your phone

HI GUYS I REALLY NEED HELP PLS READ MY STORY :
I love flashing custom rom so as i've seen some guides here i succesfully achieve it and recover if i have boot loop because i made a nandroid backup. So i became confident of flashing things and stuff like that . But this time i try to install Xposed Framework in RS PROJECT MOD V2.0 (Not popular rom) and it bricks my phone so i wasn't worried b'cuz i know that i can still recover using TWRP so i wipe data , factory reset and wipe dalvik , the usual thing to do when restoring back up , So i restore my stock rom which is Alcatel Pop c7 and it was successful from what the TWRP Recovery said then i reboot , and i noticed that there was no logo of alcatel stock rom showing for 3mins unlike before it shows the logo instantly. So i turn off the phone and i go back to recovery but this time i remember that everytime i restore my stock rom it goes back to stock recovery so i can't access the TWRP again i really need help ..
So my question is : How can i restore my phone using the stock recovery? Or is there any other way to recover it except that? pls i'll do anything for this phone cuz im already poor :'(
sorry for bad english..
Note: the custom rom RS PROJECT MOD V2.0 didn't brick my phone it brick after restoring my stock rom bcuz of xposed

Well you could try flashing twrp recovery and installing a different rom which should get rid of the problems you made. Or you could wipe everything via fastboot and restore the stock firmware again.
